The food is ok. However, my one-star review comes because they didn't explicitly let us know, in advance, that the restaurant was cash only. It has a small sign on the wall, and to be honest, the year is 2022 and you don't get into a restaurant expecting it to be cash only. If it does, at least, make sure the clients are aware of that before they order food.

As some other reviewers mentioned, the food was made with much care. The chicken hearts was absolutely amazing - just a burst of flavors. The lamb rib shepherds pie was unlike any that I’ve had. Boneless, slow cooked lamb rib with onions and herbs mixed with mashed potatoes and cheese cubes (I think) and topped with more potatoes. Freshly baked and came out piping hot. Perfect for cold weather. Cash only.

Fantastic all-round experience at O Fatica. We were delighted by the ambient live music, and our server was especially hospitable, and she felt us feel especially welcome. Charming little Brazilian restaurant with in-house guitarist. Highly recommend the mixed starter. So many delicious croquettes! Card machine was not working so you may need to get some cash - they were very patient while one of us went to get cash before we ordered.

Lovely Brazilian restaurant with good food, nice music and vibe. If you’re in Lisbon and looking for some soft live music to accompany your dinner, definitely come here. Food portions are also quite big.

A gourmet's paradise! I haven't tried such different flavors for a long time: beautifully presented dishes, great service, Portuguese craft beer Cerveja Trindade: all 5stars! Must try "Moqueca Baiana" - prawns in a delicious sauce covered with crispy manioc. Other great dish is "Baião de dois": a traditional Nordeste dish (northern Brazil) based on rice, beans and dried meat. For sure will be back to try other dishes from menu, yummy!

What a great experience.!!! I’ve hear a lot about Brazilian finger food … and they had the best one I’ve had in my life .!!! Great atmosphere, live music and very cold beer .. I’ll come back for sure .!! And I can’t forget to mention staff was so friendly.!!!

What a lovely place! An intimate and small restaurant in Sao Bento offering Brazilian cuisine. The staff is hospitable. Being a first timer in Brazilian cuisine, the waiter gave me extensive advise and information about the menu. A terrific guitarist was present performing bossa nova the whole evening. This adds more to the experience. As for the food itself, it tastes good, caipirinha was wonderful as well. Card payment is possible.

Fantastic food and service from a family run business. Can’t recommend enough, especially the clams (small and tasty), octopus (tender and delightful) and the fish stew (comforting and delicious)

The food, the drinks and the live music atmosphere was 11/10. Everything we've had was AMAZING and out of this world good. However the service here was terribly slow. To be fair the guy did look kinda lost so I wonder if he was just new (he was nice though). Despite the service, we will be coming 100% for the insanely good food!

Simply fantastic! After a long day we ended up at this small restaurant for a few drinks. The atmosphere as we walked by caught us. A man with a guitar sitting in the window singing and playing wonderful music. We sat down instantly were greeted by a wonderful host who took care of us our entire stay. After a glass of wine each i ordered an "Amazon Sour" this was an experience in of it self! This drink was one of the most special ones i have ever had. Overall absolutely incredible. This is the first place im going when I return to Lissabon. Fantastic

Came to this beautiful gem on the recommendation of a friend. It seats only walk ins, which is great when you want to play it by ear in a casual city. From the guitar player to the lovely staff to the incredible food, I had to stop myself from going here more than once. I highly recommend everything ❤️ Can’t wait to go back!

Very first visit.....first night in Lisbon! She (the waitress) tried to rip us off. A bunch of items on our bill that we didn't order. Go somewhere else and hope for the best....we will never come back again!

A very atmospheric place, the workers love their job and will advise you the perfect match. The dishes very tasty and satisfying. I recommend this place.

I took a first of mine who is from Brazil to this lovely and romantic little restaurant and they had a traditional dish from his hometown in Brazil!!’ It was a homecoming moment! The food is amazing and I had to take home a doggie bag! Great for date night !!!

Stumbled across O Fatica because they were playing live music. The food is zingy, balanced and unctuous. Service was very good (PT and EN) was spoken. Prices are fine. Who cares when the food is that good!

The chef is passionate and food is amazing and authentic. The boss is friendlly and relaxed so the vibe here is great. We came here twice in two days. Everything we tasted was delicious, authentic and well done. Definitely a great address if you are looking to relax and enjoy good vibes.

This place was so underrated! It wasn’t easy to find though - their location is in a small and dark alley that the only thing will get your attention is their nice live music! Loved their authentic Brazilian food (specifically the pork) and cocktails! Bit pricey but what to expect in a touristic city, right? Come to this place, you guys!
