I cant give rating below than this. . This is one of the worst property listed with Oyo. Reception person do not have the manner that how to talk with their guest. I booked 3 rooms through Oyo with paying advance money. after reaching there at the hotel at 2 Pm . Hotel staff is saying rooms are not available if we want rooms then have to wait more couple of hours . ' if required then wait otherwise you can see other hotels we will refund the amount' Being closest to the temple what they do , they allot the rooms to shrine for couple of hours . They dont have value for their prebooked guest just because of money. I will never recommend this property with pre- booking . Two times i faced this problem for my valuable guests. Service is also very poor of the hotel . you cant expect even single water of bottle on time if you required . Overall not recommended.

An average budget friendly hotel, recommended for youngsters who explore Rameshwaram & Dhanushkodi, but not quite great for families because of its poor maintenance. The hotel corridors smell dry fish lol... literally! Every time I hoped they'd clean it but I was disappointed. Types of Rooms: -A/C & Non A/C -Queen sized bed in a family room -Multi single beds in bachelor rooms Type of Guests: Majority guests are young adults, and also families Cost: -Budget friendly - Rs. 950+tax a/c room for 2 people Amenities : -A/C -TV -Toiletries (I booked through oyo, not sure if otherwise provided) -R. O. Water Hospitality : - I'll rate it a 2/5 as they aren't professional or seemed happy that they have guests (which was a bit disappointing). Couldn't say rude but not quite appealing for a reception. - Help on request with a "need-a-tip" attitude, sometimes vocalize it too (which was annoying) Cleanliness : -A 0/5 as you can see in the photos, the room is badly maintained -Toilets weren't clean -Walls looked stained and unpainted for decades -The dust under the bed was in abundance - The red OYO runner sheet was in one of the drawers with full of dust -Dusty cupboards - R. O. Water dispenser place was completely dirty and stinky (check photo) I'm shocked to see that oyo hasn't noticed it yet as we book the room trusting oyo's standards. But this was a complete disappointment. In addition, there are several young adults in the reception and having just entered the hotel, I hope I'm not supposed to know who is in charge. I guess the person in charge is supposed to greet or ask if he can help. But it's us who might have to start the conversation. Sad that I won't be picking this hotel on my next visit to Rameshwaram.

The 3 stars is only for the location. It is right opposite the Temple's main entrance. If you are not traveling by your own car, this is a good option. But if you are driving look for a place not on the same street as you won't be able to drive up to the hotel and hotel does not have a parking lot. Parking is about half a Kilometer away. It's a pain if you have luggage. Apart from the closeness to the temple, the staff were not courteous and service was only average. No complementary breakfast option either. A/C not well maintained and though they had WiFi, I couldn't get internet.

We went to Rameswaram in April and here is a review about the hotel and our own experience. 1. The reception is non responsive and you will never be able to reach them in first attempt. Being on a city for the first time that is a scary prospect. 2. There is no parking for this hotel and you have to park your car about 300 meter far. The instructions provided was very vague and we had a difficult time working this out. 3. The hotel provided a guy to carry our luggages to hotel and the behaviour of the guy was very rude. 4. We expected this luggage carrying service to be free and realised it was not. We had a tough time negotiating with this people. Finally they charged us 150 RS for carrying our luggages to parking. So overall you get, non-responsive reception, 300 meter away paid parking, negotiating with local people if you have many luggages. On the plus side the hotel is closer to temple entrance for Morning Mani darshan.

Worst, worst, worst, worst, worst maintenance not worth for Rs. 1500 per night. Even they didn't give the bill too. But working ladies expect money from us while check out for nothing...

It was unpleasant. Car parking was not available, we have to park the car at one and half km away from hotel (Pay and park, in an organised parking). There is no proper response or assistance from hotel staff (Response is, as if they are doing a favor to us). Uncleaned room and bed and pillow covers. AC was not working. House keeping is pathetic, unprofessional staff. Coming to a OYO part. I selected for 3 guests during booking, but automatically it become 2, when I called OYO assistance to rise an issue, CC executive put me on hold for 7-8 Minutes and disconnected the call. Because of this there was an issue while checking in. The worst part is Actual room cost is Rs.1800 (All inclusive) if we directly go to hotel for same room with 3 guests. But OYO charged me Rs.2616 for 2 guests.

Location is good. Opp to main temple gate. Good staff. Room is good n spacious. Only thing lacking is 1) in spite of high rent , not even packaged water provided but also not provided normal water in the room. 2) rent is on higher side compared to amenities being provided. Flexible in check in .against normal check in 1200 hrs. We were allowed to check in at 10 hrs with check out 1000hrs.À

It is been one of the best hotels in Rameswaram till 2009. It is a well maintained hotel just opposite to Temple East Gate entrance. Since people have to take bath from 22 wells as the part of temple rituals it is useful to take the room here as they can change the dress immediately after the bath. As the pilgrimage they can see the temple for whole days. It has spacious room with all the amenities like Flat TV, 7mm bed, geyser and AC. This property has 24 hours lift facility. Lots of small restaurants are available in front of the temple which facilitates us to enjoy the taste of south. The transportation facility is restricted around the temple by the government from past 5 years.So the car has to be parked in public parking. We can avail the electric car facility from 6am to 6pm. But even though we stay at any hotels near by we need to walk to East Gate for temple rituals and bath. So it may be a best decision to take the room here in my opinion

Very very close to entrance of Temple. We can change dress just after rituals in Temple. Very close to sea Hotel with medium facilities. Hygiene not bad. Spacious room for 2 adults and one kid. . Bathroom is very narrow- very long but width is low. Staffs are very Co operative and nice. There is no restaurant in this hotel. Many hotels and small small road side Dosa- Idly shops are at walkble distance. Very good for Temple visit

Hotel is good , room and bathroom are spacious staff is friendly and cooperative. Issue is cars can't reach till hotel and you have to walk with luggage. Oyo booking experience was not good . They changed the tariff after check in the hotel . After discussion of 2 hours with oyo customer care they changed it to original tariff.

Today we had no option as we didn't booked hotel in advance. As we approached for room , receptionist gave room as we vacate room in few hours and charged 1000 rs and he didn't gave any receipt too. Tv is not working after complaining they just said it will not work . Only best part is very near to temple .

Room was ok , but after 5pm there was no water supply till 7am morning ,looked like they intentionally stoped water supply bcz there was no one other than us in the hotel , AC got shut down and after complain the AC got repaired after 3 hours , very bad service 😞
