HONEST REVIEW... PROS: 1) Rooms were very comfortable and neat. 2) Hotel's location is good, easily accessible to railway station and tourist attractions. CONS: 1) Never allow the room service, I was shocked to witness the restroom cleaning personnel keeping the bathing bucket and jug "inside" the toilet bowl ! When I asked, She replied that the toilet is clean and there's no place to keep the mug and bucket for draining the remaining water inside. I was disgusted by her actions. Management isn't aware of such things. I have stayed in many hotels but never came across such unhygienic practice anywhere. 2) Food taste is Poor, better go for other nearby restaurants. 3) Open space vehicle parking.

The hotel's location is awesome. Just a stones throw from railway station. The food is really good. Stayed for three days. They provided early check in and late check out. Subject to availability And these are the good things. Wish the room was little big. My main and only concern is the cleanliness. No cover for pillows. Stain in bed and pillow. Please don't trust the photos. Maybe it was clean before. Now it's very untidy and dirty. Corridors wer smelly. Dust in rooms. Chairs. I think they are under staffed and hence they are compromising on the cleanliness. Lots of dust under the bed. Restroom was comparatively better. My kind request to the management. Cleanliness is of paramount importance. This is the basic thing guest expects. Hope you consider it

Not a family hotel at all. Service is pathetic so is the buffet breakfast. The glasses were stinking No kettle in the room. One room for 4000/- not worth it at all. Toilet seats were broken! The phone to house keeping and room service isn't answered. They are only surviving because it's near the temple/station. Highly suggest to book others which maybe a km or two away if you want a comfortable stay!

I stayed in Hotel Rameswaram Grand to visit Rameswaram Temple. This hotel was right beside the railway station at a 2 min walk, which meant easy access to get autos and cars to go to the temple and go sightseeing. Additionally, the rooms were excellent and were at a reasonable price. The restaurant manager Pandi runs an excellent business - although we arrived in Rameswaram late in the night past their closing, he had accommodated us (with a prior call), and ensured that we had food ready as we checked in. Throughout our stay, he prepared the food to how we would want it, and ensured we had a wonderful experience overall. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Rameswaram and does not know much about this area.

Rating given below is based on the price that I have paid(Rs.1800 for a double room with complementary breakfast) Rooms:5/5 The rooms and the bathroom is good considering the price Food: 5/5 Food is excellent and they serve non vegetarian food also. The restaurant is also spacious and clean Service: 4/5 Need a little improvement in terms of service. Needed to ask them more than once and still they did not get us what we needed. Parking:5/5 Huge parking space in the front and in the side of the building also Location: 5/5 Near to Rameswaram railway station. But this is not a busy place. Calm and quiet place and easy to reach. Amenities: Basic amenities are provided Overall the best place to stay in Rameswaram if your budget is less than 2000. Definitely recommend this hotel

Good hotel for families. Walkable distance from temple. Restaurant is not full time operational, you won’t get anything in afternoon (including tea and coffee), evening only tea and coffee available. It has got nice view and ample open space for parking etc. Breakfast was good tho. Will stay again.

Good for just 1 month old hotel. Value for money. Front desk, room service and Restuarant staff are courteous & went out of the way to serve the guests. Recommend following to improve service: 1. Just 1 chair for 4 bed room. May keep 2 small stools 2. Toilet has towel rod for 1. May put towel hangers cum shelf 3. No card giving Assisstance / Restuarant numbers & wifi details. 4. May place filtered water machines centrally & avoid bottled water & plastic.

Stayed here for one night last week. Great place and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Some decorative things were worn out, but that seems to be normal wear and tear. They serve breakfast, but i had to leave early in the morning and did not have. Room service is available. Food prices are high, but considering the tourist location, this is fine.

Walkable distance from Rameswaram Railway Station. Breakfast was decent enough. Food is good. Room is very poorly maintained. Dust in everywhere. No one comes to clean if you call housekeeping. Hotel has a limited parking. WI-FI is not available above first floor. Personally I'll definitely not book this hotel in again and will not recommend to anyone.

The outside looks good but rooms are not at all livable. AC is not working, there is no cleanliness in the hotel. Food quality was worst. There was no housekeeping services. You keep asking for water bottle, towels but no response from the hotel staff. The attitude towards their customers was not positive. Not recommending to anyone. PS: The kitchen was so bad, it has rats and cockroaches. So it's unhygienic.

Don't go for this hotel, look for near by hotels you can get easily in cheap price. I got refund issue and receptions don't help ask to call hotel which has waiting for 10-15 mins. If lucky call get connected and no response or solution. Also all rooms have broken camod and cockroaches.

Hotel looks fabulous from outside but from inside the room are not even clean, the bedsheets even had periods stain this is how they provide room to guest, even after telling them to change they just changed the bedsheets and not the pillow, changed sheet were also not clean. The bathroom were not maintained properly, were smelling . Even the food at the hotel is not good, first of all they Don't have option which are there in the menu and whatever they provided was not good and costly as well. Inside of making the hotel look good from outside work on the service and providing clean room. Very much disappointed. We had 5 rooms all 4 rooms bedsheets had stain marks.

Hotel is unlivable for family The hotel location is remote with interior room having damped smell. You will feel vomited after entering into the room. The exterior is highly dusty with high construction. The location is remote and complete secluded. Sincere advice - Do not stay at this hotel if you are family.

We all come along with ५० person in this hotel. Food and ambiance was so nice. Every thing is good. Manager sree help us alot. You must try this hotel you will not be regret on any service

We stayed for 2 days with 10+ persons in 2 rooms. The rooms are extra spacious to accommodate. The breakfast is awesome and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Thanks team!

Am very sorry to say about your pathetic service which is being done by your representatives. They did not bother to answer my mail regarding room booking. They should have atleast answered my mail saying that no rooms are available. They don't bother to listen to my talks also. Very pathetic service. I really never recommend anyone to this hotel again. Am being in service industry never expected this from you people. When you book please don't ever do this. They don't bother to answer till you call them

We are aA.V.Raveendran group of 20 people stayed in this hotel on 13-24 th dec 2023. Stay was comfortable and the food served was of good quality. Breakfast also very delicious delicacies. We recommend our friends to stay here whenever they visit Rameswaram sree and pandi

No hospitality with the crew. We waited 5 hours for early check-in. Didn't get it. And even after the time they gave one room even though we had booked 2 rooms. We went for temple darshan and came back in afternoon and even then thye took another 30 mins. And still no pillow covers, no towels. Mattress are too soft and mushy. Phone not working. 3 star hotel with 1 star service.

The hotel is very close to the railway station of Rameshwaram, you can see the station from the hotel. Room and room service is fairly good. There is a restaurant at the top floor of this hotel that requires significant improvement in their services and it is costly. If you're in a hurry please find a restaurant outside(you can find a good restaurant nearby) to fill your tummies.

Rooms are good. One advantage is it is too near to railway station. Service at restaurant is too good n food also good. But the hell with receptionist he is 😠 mad he doesn't have sense how to deal with guests. He is frustrated all the time n arrogant all the time. Don't respond to guest properly n unfit for receptionist job. I forgot the name of housekeeping supervisor, he is best one to deal with.

Pretty much average place. Problems are manyfold. 1. Though the building and room design is good, bathroom isn’t. Place near washbasin is filled with water if you take a shower and doesn’t dries till you get it cleaned. 2. No one comes to clean if you call housekeeping. Housekeeping staff themselves are good, but they can’t help if not told. 3. On checking with reception, they are more occupied with their phone as compared to talking with guests. They were like, if earlier staff didn’t told them while leaving from shift, how can they help. 4. Hotel has a limited parking. And it’s always occupied by tourists taxied/buses and private vehicle has to be parked in ground near by. Breakfast was decent enough if you are into South Indian food, so that’s a plus.

The hotel looks attractive from outside but it’s not the same inside. There are few basic things missing. For example the staff supplies 2 small bottles of water each day, but absolutely no tumblers in the room. The window curtains were not fitted properly (see the photo) and the blankets and pillow cases were dirty and smelly. The mattress was too old hence very very bad for people who suffer from Back pain. Visited their restaurant only once (except of course for the complimentary breakfast) and had to give up as the prices were too high for the standard of the food. Personally I will definitely not book this hotel in future and will not recommend to anyone

I stayed there for one night with my family. Rooms are clean and comfortable, ample sunshine in the rooms so your clothes will dry within no time after you come back from kund snan at the temple. Room service was also very prompt. Breakfast buffet was really lavish and delicious. Loved it. Manager and staff were also helpful and honest. Did not try to exploit in any way. Location is very good because it's bang opposite the railway station so you can just walk out of the station and check in. Plus autos are easily available 24x7.

Had a short stay here. Rooms and washrooms were clean but definitely need more maintenance. Staff at the Reception were very helpful and guided us for temple visit. Thanks to Mr. Shyam who arranged the breakfast just for us, though we arrived late. Food at the restaurant was good. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. :)

A very decent hotel located just opposite Rameswaram Railway station. It has rooms in the first three floors and a restaurant in the fourth floor. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast is normally complimentary and the spread is pretty decent and tasty. Plenty of space is available for car parking and the tarrif is very reasonable. I have stayed here on two occasions and the improvement in service and maintenance is visible. Certainly a hotel that is worth recommending.

The place is a nice stay in Rameswaram. It is very close to the railway station, literally 500-600m. The rooms are well equipped and maintained. The staffs were friendly. Have ample car parking. The only problem is the restaurant, they have a menu which is more inclined towards North Indian cuisine. Since there are no good decent restaurants in the vicinity, it might be little challenging for South Indians. That said the morning complimentary buffet breakfast has a variety of south and North Indian and it was delicious.

A relatively new property bang opposite the entrance of Rameshwaram railway station. Location therefore us good for those arriving and departing by trains. Accommodation is fairly comfortable with all basic amenities in place. Room size is decent. A very simple lobby and minimal interiors are very obvious. Buffet breakfast is strictly vegetarian and South Indian but good enough. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Overall a comfortable stay with family.
