I stayed in this Hotel last week@ Rameswaram. The rooms were very neat and clean, Courteous staff, homely food and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. Just opposite to the Railway station and very close to the Temple. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I strongly recommend this Hotel for a comfortable stay @ Rameswaram. Well it was great because, the hotel is located at the centre of rameshwaram with temple nearby, access to the highway is easier and also on the way to dhanuskodi. The hotel also have good rooms and facilities and good parking within its boundary itself. But the service, i can say it only as average. I had booked 5 rooms 1 week in advance and day before the checkin i had requested them to make everything perfect. As expected they said they will. But when we arrived after a long journey right from kerala, we found them describing as doing the cleaning process. What annoyed me was after those words from them, then only they were finalising the room with other staff. When we checked in to the room, some basic amenities like cups and water were missing in some room and in one of the room the ac was not working. They told it will get cold gradually, but even after 3 hours nothing changed, so we told them to change the room for us.Some of the taps were not working in the bathrooms. Clearly you can see the service is not adequate. During the checkout, they were saying one of the room is missing a set of cup, which they didn't even placed in the room even after repeated request from us.So we told them to check our bags which they didn't and instead they checked with their team and found the count was correct.It was so frustrating to me. I had booked this hotel because before the pandemic, i had reserved this hotel with my friends in 2019 and at that time everything was perfect. But comparing those, the service quality declined. We were upset about that. Hope they improve in their service. If that is done, then this will be best hotel in Rameswaram to stay especially if you are coming with the family

placed just 150mtrs away from Rameshwaram station. Hotel's room was good but need maintenance. they offer veg breakfast buffet for rs 200 which is decent. their room service needs improvement.

Complete disappointment! They have cancelled my booking of three rooms just to get good price with walkin customers.. when we asks the property manager, he just ran inside and saying ask them to go.. they just doesn't care and the reception lady said they have cancel it four days before and she showed copy of cancellation which states a hour before. I have visited hotels of poppy groups before.. this is the useless one.

Room were clean and tidy. Complimentary Breakfast was good - it’s like home made Food. Ranjith (Manager ) was really kind and he gave me the information all about temple info and other activities. We didn’t use room service so I can’t comment on that part.

The amenities were excellent in the room. The staff members and the Receptionist were responding spontaneously. Food alone is not upto the mark of other facilities. Great experience...my entire family was happy about the comfortable stay in Vinayaga by Poppys Hotel!

I didn't even want to give a single star. First of all, the tariff was too high for such hotel in Rameswaram. Hospitality by the hotel management totally sucks right from security to the reception. Rooms were okay to stay but the bathrooms literally pathetic. No good service provided and mostly keen on money. We stayed in a 3 bed room paying 4000 INR per day and they didn't even afford is breakfast. Better not to stay in such hotels untill they imporve their environment and hospitality. Being located in a holy place they should serve people better and make their stay plesant in such places of India...

Vinayaga is a very good hotel which is quite near to the temple. It has very courteous staff who are willing to help. Particularly one Mr. Kali Muthu from their restaurant, is an excellent host. He was always willing help and serve. Rare to find such staff amongst the tourist destinations. They can improve the room cleaning a little more.

I am sharing my personal experience. This place is having both positive and negetive points. You decide by your own. Pros: * Perfect Location. Temple is within 5 min in auto. Many other places, like Ram kunda, Lakshman kunda, Sita kunda, Gandhamadan are also very near by. In 5 min walking distance, you can find our Ex President Sir A P J Abdulkalam Jee's house. * Nice Staffs: Every staff is very helpful and always ready at your service. * Food: Veg food but very light, like home cooked food. Cons: * The day we checked in, immediately ready rooms were given. But we found, pillow covers, bedsheets, blanket covers were unchanged since the last guest left. And actually, those were kept in perfectly maintained order. So, if you just miss, you will be using all same things, which last guest used. Actually, the bedsheets were full of blood stains. The dustbin were not even emptied after the last guests were checked out. When I checked for other rooms, even they were in same condition, used items kept in maintained way. We felt very disgusted. And especially very risky in current situation.

Let me talk about +ves first. It has very good parking space and proximity to imp places like railway station, Main temple, Dhanushkodi and other tourist places. North Food is also ok in taste. However, I found rooms to be smaller and was experiencing some kind of foul smell throughout. The corridor passage are very narrow and doesn't give good vibes. Hotel's reception and entrance is very good and at the same time it's misleading as far as the expectation of room is concerned. Overall I found it ok for a night stay because nost of our time went outside that day and I got good and secure parking for ny car. However if you are looking for relaxing purpose then this not the place for you.

To tour and pray well, Eat well and Stay well at Rameshwaran i chose to Stay at Vinayaga by poppys for 2 days. Hotel location is close to the temple, Courteous and friendly staff. Clean and good ambience Food served at restaurant was tasty. Good value for money. I made direct Hotel booking through Mr. Ranjith and he offered me a competitive price. Overall a memorable and comfortable stay at Rameshwaran...

It is an old property. Rooms were maintained clean but bathroom doors, dustbin etc were very old. Breakfast spread hardly includes anything exciting. They have a good parking and service is quick. Property is near to town and can reach Rameswaram temple easily.

The room was clean, with nothing to complain about. It's conveniently located near the temple, bike rentals, and the highway. As we had arrived early, we could keep our luggage in a room next to the lobby and roam around before check-in which was convenient. They have a travel desk and can arrange transport if you want to site-see.

I had a decent experience. The room was nice. AC worked well. The bathroom was neat and clean though there were some permanent stains on the commode. Hot water in the shower is available 24 × 7. Lots of space, 3 can easily stay. The view I had was of another buildings wall which was really disappointing. The location is decent. Compared to other hotels in Rameshwaram, it is probably on the lower end of convenience but everything important in Rameshwaram is nearby. The temple and APJ Abdul Kalam memorial are 10 minutes by vehicle. The area can smell of a sea/fish a lot, which I particularly did not like, but that is highly likely with all the other hotels nearby as well. Service was ok. I called room service a couple of times and they took their time but came. After 9pm, I highly doubt you will get room service for anything. Some people might also face issues with few of the staff not speaking English and Hindi. Overall I would recommend this place to people looking for a mid budget AC room with access to Vegetarian food (very expensive) in your hotel and a sub-optimal 3 star experience but ok good for the price.

Rooms flush & AC had an issue which they resolved. These hiccups should be there when we check in the room. Promised arrangements for the driver were not available & our tired driver had to sleep in the car. Fruits not served in otherwise good breakfast. Overall a nice stay.... Despite such a +ve review, the hotel replied that I haven't stayed with them...lol

All the staffs are nice and hotel is very good. All services are good. We are satisfied with the stay. Room service are good. Want to thank all the staffs especially Reception staffs and Steffy. We want to visit again.

Rooms are good. Location is good. Food was good. Restaurant needs to speed up the service. Car parking needs to be improved. Should cover coconut trees with mesh so that coconuts don’t fall on cars.

We had the misfortune to stay in this hotel at Rameswaram. Everythkng was ok at first but while leaving they told us that there was a stain om the divut which we had made and we should pay for it. However much we tried to explain that we checked in late night and left early in the morning for the temple abd had all our meals only int the dining room they pravticwlly called us liars and did not allow us to leave before we paid for the laundry. The atrocious and rude behaviour of the staff shocked us and we felt terribly insulted. Beware friends about this hotel.

Overall ambiance, food quality, nice. Staff courteous. Service is also nice. Only area of improvement is cleanliness and hygiene in dining hall and in rooms. Lot of flies seen in these areas. You can put insectocutor to fix the problem.

Vinayaga is one of the best hotel in Rameshwaram. Rooms and facilities are good. Hotel staff are very cooperative and with well behaved. Food is at its best taste, especially if you from Gujarat you will love the food.

Pros Staffs were polite and kind. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Paid buffet dinner was good , but it’s purely North Indian buffet. Food ordered from restaurant tastes good Rooms were clean Cons Room maintenance needs to be improved Room and bathroom door locks were not working properly in the room I stayed. When all the rooms are occupied it is impossible to order food from restaurant due to shortage of man power I guess. Food is pricey.

Overall is good. But reception ladies are very slow in their job. They need more active. We asked to clean the room in the morning, but it was not executed. When we came and complained in the evening then they cleaned both the room. Otherwise, foods are awesome. Staff behavior was so good.

inspite of booking double beds room, staff alloted all three rooms with single bed, however we requested for one double bed room and it was entertained but not for all rooms. Rooms needs to be more clean and hygeinic. The resrqurant cheated the guests saying there is a buffet arranged because ala carte wasnt available. The buffet was pathetic and tastless, we didnt had option at night because the city closes early and you’ll have no other choice left rather than to eat bad food.

It was quiet awesome to stay in such an important place Hotel was in the main just 20mtrs opposite to railway station entrance, Rameshwaram Temple 1Km, Sea shore for agni theertham 2.5-3.5kms, Abdul kalam museum around 5-6kms, Kurusadai Island 10 Kms & Dhanushkodi 20Kms. So we were able to plan a good time spending as travelling from centre of the city made us easy worth for money and good hospitality service by staffs. Safe and secured car parking with good ambience in room as well as reception, The cushion beds and all the equipments available in room very very efficient working even from a small kettle till TV.

Hotel is excellent , we stayed in 3 rd floor and Room was maintaned neat and clean, we had only dinner, Food taste was good ..chef comes asks for any additions. good attitude.

We reached the hotel around 3pm. Went to the reception to get the room keys. The receptionist collected our identity documents and handed over the room key and asked us to go to the first floor. We carried our luggage to the room. This is the first time I came across a hotel which didn't offer bell boy service to carry the luggage. However ,to my surprise, a group of around 10 tourists reached little later and their luggagees were transferred to thier room by the hotel staff. My guess is that they are probably treating people who have booked through online portal differently. I had booked my stay for 2 nights and so I requested at the reception to have my room cleaned on 2nd day morning. I again got surprised with the response. They said that they would priorities the rooms are available for the guests who are checking in on that day. Further ,they didn't have the room cleaned or changed towels in 2nd day. The hotel does not justify the price it charged for the stay. The service is that of a lodge who would charge not more than 10% of what I paid per night. We thought they forgot that we were staying at their hotel. But they called me around 7pm to enquire if we would have dinner at their restaurant. So it clearly indicates that the concen is not to provide service for what I have paid for but to earn more if we have dinner at their restaurant.

Loved the place, very homely, clean and neat. Rooms are good, restaurant serves all types of food. Complimentary breakfast is very good. Staff was very cooperative and we had no issues of language or any other things.

Blindly go for this hotel if you ever visit rameswaram. Such a nice staffs. Good food. Clean rooms. Kudos to their hospitality..

The advantage with this hotel is its near Railway station 🚉 of Rameshwaram, hardly 5 minutes walk.The rooms are specious enough.The rooms on the front side have nice sun light and fresh air. They also have a restaurant and a car rental service, which they propose you on arrival, if you are not traveling with your vehicle.

decent rooms and bathrooms for a sum of 5000 rupees is what you can expect here. No hot water and incomplete, uncooked and mess like food at restaurant. Very unprofessional and non courteous staff. We had to request multiple times to get the room cleaned.

Worst Hotel in Rameshwaram. Untidy rooms. Worst Food ever had. They serve spoilt food, we felt like vomiting. Please do not choose this hotel, this is next to hell. No hot water, bad smell in rooms. No room service, they do not reply till hours. Do not choose this hotel worst experience ever.
