I booked a double room after clearly seeing the photos where there were 2 rooms in one. I paid 4500 per night for this. When I reached there I was given a single room with a double bed and told that they will just give a mattress for the two people. When spoken about the photos that they posted online for my room clearly shows 2 rooms, they said that they have posted all photos online. I was with my family so finally had to pay 2.5k to move us to a room that was actually a double room. They are fraudsters. Moreover, the whole day, the construction was going on which was disturbing us and did not let anyone sleep. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and filled with mosquitoes. The manager is incompetent and rude. He can neither understand your problem nor solve for anything. Just knows how to talk rudely with customers. He was extremely ignorant person and for everything just asking us to cancel and go somewhere else. This is hands down my worst travel experience till date due to this person. He was even refusing to handover the bill to us but eventually did after some back and forth. Horrible experience!

We had a bad experience. The restaurant service was pathetic. They said they won't serve food in room. So, we go to restaurant and there is only one staff to take order and serve food. We waited for a long time and asked him to take our order, he is not even listening to us. So, we left outside the hotel find a place to eat. The room was average and neat. No complaints on that. The bathroom fittings are pretty old. The shower was useless. Just very small amount of water were coming from that. The extra bed provided was a cheap, slim mattress. Need to put it on the floor because they won't provide cot. So, we had a bad time there. Especially in case of restaurant. They need to place more staff and needs work on the restaurant management.

Rameswaram is the place to enjoy the spirituality we travelled last week to this beautiful place .The entire Rameswaram is filled with positivity and we really felt blessed to be in this fabulous town. We are 3 families we are in required of 3 Rooms we took 2 Deluxe and 1 Mini Suite at Hotel SS Grand. We checked in around 20:00 in the night they allotted 3 Rooms for us . Rooms were spacious enough to put all our luggage we brought in and ambiance was pleasant and the quality of bed was good .We got good sleep and in the morning they served their delicious buffet breakfast 🥞 (Complimentary with the Room Package) and we left for the sightseeing. They have wide car parking space and hotel situated on the main road of Rameswaram city. To have pleasant stay there shouldn't any hassle during the vacation. This hotel really fulfilled Our requirements. Chose Mini Suite if you are 3 Members in your family else chose deluxe room

Nice ambiance and location is also good. Here you will get only veg food but food is very tasty. Service is good and hotel will arrange guide in very reasonable price. Good place to stay with family.

facilities and interior are good compared to the price of the hotel. staff is very supportive. you may not have south meals in the afternoon & evening at this hotel also in arjuna hotel. street food counter mostly opened after 7 in the evening. auto facilities are very expensive...they may charge Rs 50-100 for 1km. Rs 800 to 1000 for local sight visit.

Today, upon checking in, we were greeted with extremely poor service. The WiFi was non-functional, and the intercom system was also not working. They gave us a single mobile number which was consistently busy. Despite booking a room for three people, we were only provided with a single bedsheet and blanket, with no additional bed. We had prepaid a significant amount for what turned out to be very basic services. Not recommended

I had heard many good things about the Hotel SS Grand, but none of them prepare me for the incredible experience I had. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, and most importantly, they have one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever seen. One of the best likable Hotel in Rameswaram. Hotel SS Grand we visited last month and took 3 Rooms for 2 Nights they have made the Rooms ready for us . The Rooms are very clean and neat and they made our check in as smooth as ice. Their Manager Mr.Amar was polite and helpful in assigning our Rooms . First the suite room was spacious and fitted with modern amenities. Bathrooms are very clean and neat. We took breakfast for two days really I must say the taste was exceptional. Place was good to stay but very less maintenance… there was no lock from outside of bathroom gate .. I stayed in room number 207 … even the shower was not working properly… Staff was good and helpful.. even service was good also the food was yum totally love their quality and quantity of food also the breakfast is worth having …. … The worst part was that their was no toilet paper also the bathroom utilities contained only 2 soap, one dental kit of the room costing INR 4500 per night …

One of the worst hotel I have been to. The manager is one of the useless person I have met with such low skilled staffs with him. Even the complimentary toothpaste given to us is a used one. I can just imagine that. One tight slap is deserved by that reception in charge.

The rooms are good but the service is pathetic. Some of the staff are extremely ill mannered. The wifi wasn't working. Limited food options for dinner. No room service. The manager at the reception during the night hours refused to even hear the complain, asked to speak to the one in the day!! Overall, it wan't a great experience.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel SS Grand in Rameswaram. The hotel was very conveniently located and they provided us with great amenities and services during my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. They also provided us with an array of facilities such as an on-site travel desk, tourist guides and delicious international cuisine. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rameswaram!

It was a very bad experience. Very arrogant receptionist,who is not bothered about the business. Bathrooms are dirty and smelly , refrigerator is not working,not able to provide cool drinking water bottles in all the 2 days we have stayed.However the vegetarian food served was reasonably good. Totally disorganized management which gives enormous inconvenience to the guests.

Last week, I took my family to the Hotel Royal Court for a buffet lunch. We were all very impressed with the variety of delicious food that was available. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was just perfect for such an enjoyable meal. We will definitely be returning to this amazing restaurant in the future!

It is under renovation, so the whole day experienced noise. Break fast was good. Hope once renovation finishes, it may look good. Driver domatatry is in bad shape . When rained, the pathway to the driver's room was flooded. Hope once sorted out , all will be fine.

Staying with my friends at Hotel SS Grand was a breath of fresh air! Rooms where clean and comfortable, the food was amazing, especially the free breakfast, but the best part was the staff, not only where they super helpful, but from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left we where greeted by smiles and friendly faces. This hotel is without a doubt the best in Rameshwaram.

The rooms require cleaning and a fresh coat of paint is required. Basic things like electric kettle and TV with functional channels are missing. The restaurant is very basic but the food is well prepared and the staff is helpful. Amar at the reception is very helpful and friendly

Decent rooms. But construction is underway on top floor make some uncomfortable. Hot water but very less hot. AC not working properly. No water in morning. Lack of room maintenance.

They are running a scam. On booking a double room for 4, they provided us with a single room with one double bed, saying that they will provide extra mattress for 2 people. The room was too small to fit even one extra mattress. On talking to the manager, he said that this is what THEY MEAN by double room and said that there is a double room available which can give on paying Rs. 2500 EXTRA or we can cancel and look for some other hotel. On top of that there is a constant construction drilling and hammering noise all throughout the hotel, which can easily give you migrane. The exterior of the hotel is good but as it's said don't judge a book by its cover.

There is a say "All glitters are not GOLD" likewise i have booked stay here at SS Grand for 2 days at Ground floor suite room. At a glance everything seemed ok, but i was shocked to see how poorly the maintenance was. The staff was friendly & helpful. So was the food at the restaurant, no issues. Loved th taste. But the condition of the rooms👎🏻 cobwebs, Ac room windows not closing fully, bathroom door gap, spiders dancing on the wall. Even the elevator is out for maintenance & Credit card swiping machine at the front desk is not functional. If they maintain the rooms & property better this hotel can become the best one at Rameshwaram, it has that potential. Owners please see that you accept criticism in a good way & improve as you can. I reserved a room straight. Excellent motel. The rooms are immaculately tidy. comfortable setting The front desk was spotless. Sanitizing in all rooms. The cuisine in restaurants was excellent. Employees are quite quiet. Thank you very much; excellent hotel overall.

Reason to choose Hotel SS Grand is I have visited a year before their services was fabulous and caring and you can get decent discount compared to other hotels. I stayed at the Hotel SS Grand for my short trip to the city. The staff was courteous and attentive. The lobby was beautifully decorated, it felt like I was in a luxury hotel within an art gallery. My room and bathroom were clean with comfortable beds and good pillows.

Buffet breakfast 🥐🥞🍞 was sumptuous and they are having all South Indian dishes on the buffet.As we stayed here the breakfast was complementary but the varieties they kept in the buffet was amicable and sufficient for the travellers. Choosing a right hotel to stay at Rameswaram was quite tough but luckily we chose Hotel SS Grand by reference of my friend in Madurai. The entrance to the hotel is Big and the people in reception greeted us quite well . As our grandmother was old enough to walk the Hotel staff taken care of her by the wheelchair they safely taken her to the Room prior to check in which really shows the humanity before rules. Our check in was really quick and we all were in an allocated Rooms. Quality of Rooms are defined by bedding neatness and most probably the bathrooms should be kept clean. All expectations are fulfilled and we got good sleep in the night. The hotel offered breakfast which is farely good in Taste. They need to deploy few more service person but we got good food for sure The stay was fabulous and thanked my friend for making my stay most memorable

Seamless process of check in and check out. Receptionist was courteous... Was flexible with timings.. Considering the rooms were fully booked they still managed to keep the room ready when we went for check in. Booked 2 rooms and it was given opposite to each other. It helped the kids to move around the 2 rooms freely. Rooms were neat but could maintain a little better.

This hotel looks like a PALACE from outside. Huge rooms, reasonable food price, powerful central AC, ample car parking space and 24 hours hot water makes it class apart from similar hotels in this area. Manager and Staff are very prompt.

One of the better hotels in Rameshwaram. Big spacious rooms, good location, right on the main highway. Their restaurant is quite famous and serves tasty north Indian and South Indian cuisine. Overall a pleasant stay.

A nice place to stay. Most of the Hotel staff is good however restaurant guy needs to learn manners. Rooms are comfortable. They even called back when we left our mobile Chargers in room.
