We stayed for two nights. Spacious, clean rooms, delicious food with many varieties. Perfect Room service. Would like to compliment the staff at dining area for hospitality especially Ms. Pinky. They helped us to celebrate birthday of our family member which happened to be on the day of our stay. Arranged Jain food too. Highly recommended!!!

Few points. 1. The rooms were okay but not upto the mark for a 4star hotel. We got two rooms and in both the rooms the exhaust fan was not working. 2. Food is good but strange thing is they will only allow us to order whatever it is present in the buffet. If you ask them they would say due to crowd it is difficult for them to maintain. 3. Room service is not that great . I waited atleast for an hour to get water .

Passable. The hotel doesn't provide the services at par and is not at all worth the money paid. 1. There was no Foot Mat in the bathroom. 2. The room was booked for three but only one set of toiletries are provided. 3. The only good thing about this hotel. Is it's breakfast which has lot of variety and taste. 4. Although the staff was courteous, it was clueless and seemed to be disinterested. 5. If you are looking to have a relaxing time, you should try their spa which is reasonably priced and well maintained.

I enjoyed my stay at Daiwik Hotel Rameswaram. People are very soft spoken and helped me a lot. Food was very nice but all veg items. However room size was little less compared to other 4 stars hotels. Location was very near to the temple.

We were booked into this hotel by Cholan tours, the hotel looked beautiful although it is just absolutely pathetic. I am writing this review at almost 12am because I can't sleep since AC doesn't work. The bathroom lock doesn't work. The extra bed we paid for, is poor quality so we have to crunch into our existing beds. The house keeping forgot the towels and toiletries too. And no one comes at 1 call. I remember when we came in, there was no bell staff to help us with our luggage or bring it to the room. You have to remind them again and again so someone can come and help. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

The hotel does give a premium feeling. The rooms are pretty cozy and the overall ambience is pretty posh. In addition to complimentary breakfast, the hotel also offers complimentary dinner, which is a welcome aspect in a small heritage town, specially considering the very busy traffic near the Rangathaswany temple which doesn't make it very easy to go out to nearby hotels easily. The quality of the food is really great, both breakfast and dinner, without compromising on the number and variety of dishes.

We have stayed at hotel for two nights. Hotel atmosphere is very familiar and staff is very polite . Important part is hotel restaurant. We need all food without onion and garlic and they have served us without any questions and specially prepare food accordingly. Thanks to hotel management for hiring such a kind staff. Keep it up. We will recommend our knowns to must stay here

Hi, I had stayed at this property in 2012 when it was mint new and I recently stayed there for one night. I was very impressed by the location in 2012 and also the service. The serivce is still very good and courteous. The property is showing its age and asking for a touch up. The restaurant is an old conference room which can be easily made out. The rooms are OK but need care else in a couple of years they will crumble apart. There is a good deal of people staying here but an upgrade would definitely do.

food quality is quite good...staff is so humble and polite , one of the safest and fine place to stay ...some internal attraction needs to be added like small garden or pool for kids to make it rich experience.

The hotel was easy to find; but the experience was not as expected of a 4-Star hotel. The hotel was undergoing renovation when we visited, which was not informed at the time of booking, though I called the hotel directly for the booking. It was supposed to be a Work-ation and it was inconvenient to even sit in our room due to the annoying drilling noise that was right on top of our room. Bathroom had plumbing issues, water was getting blocked which had to be rectified. It took some time and multiple complaints for them to change our room, and give us a room a bit away from the noise. Room was spacious but dusty, though we were told that the room was freshly cleaned and prepped for us. Photographs attached show that the place needs a make-over. The room had a balcony, but the door handle had been removed making the balcony inaccessible. They should've installed fixed windows instead of presenting a broken handle to guests. Bathroom could use better lighting and better quality amenities. Housekeeping team and their services did not seem too great and prompt. The highlight and best part of the stay was their dining space and food quality. The dining hall is huge and food was yummy. We had their buffet dinner which is very affordably priced, and food seemed fresh and the staff was pretty forthcoming. Breakfast was lovely too! And ofcourse we over-ate since both the meals were great! One thing which we noticed though, that the staff seemed very young, not even sure if many of them were 18, but this we noticed in many places in Rameswaram and Madurai too. We understand if a property is undergoing renovation; but prior information to the guests about it, sets expectations and all the associated inconveniences don't come as a surprise. The place seems to have potential; if housekeeping is as efficient as the kitchen and dinning room team, it probably would be the best stay option in Rameswaram. But that choice and decision remains with the management :-)

Went to restaurant. Their main restaurant was under renovation. Good food, schezwan, Shanghai and Singapore noodles and rice was tasty. Mushroom coconut pepper fry was excellent. Ordered sweet lime and received salt lime instead. And for the cost of Rs. 80- Rs.100 per fresh lime, instead of bringing a new set of lime juice they brought sugar to be mixed with salt lime. Instead of sweet or salt lime, ended up with sugar + salt.

Rooms were good and clean. Blankets could have been more comfortable. Service was good. Dinner and breakfast buffet had a nice vegetarian spread and at a very reasonable price. It's just 1.4kms from the Ramnathswamy temple and can easily get autos from this place. Unlike any other hotel, they don't give any discount at thr F&B bills to their stay-in customers and no complimentary spa or restaurant service. Overall stay was good and comfortable.

*The hotel is located on the main road and easily accessible. *Parking space is ample. *Service is prompt and efficient. *The rooms are clean with the tea/coffee and hot water kettle. *The dining area is big and the menu choices are also good. *The buffet spread is good and at the meal times(breakfast/ lunch/dinner)have to wait as the hotel is usually full.

First of all I would start with the food which was very mouth watering and delicious. The dining staff was very polite and humble to serve our food on our tables even though it was a buffet ;). The rooms were quite old as they need a lot of maintenance and renovation but you will have a sound sleep. It was 15 minutes away from the temple and there were a lot of people staying in this hotel. It was overall a good experience for our trip. Do book this hotel if you have to stay near Rameswaram temple.

Our visit was nothing short of spectacular. Your attention to detail, different varieties of foods, and friendly staff made our dining experience truly exceptional. Your hospitality made us feel like royalty, and the food was the masterpiece, the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, must stay for couples 😊. However, I believe the service could have been better and for that reason 4 star rating else the hotel deserves 5 start rating for sure. Thank you for the great hospitality.

One of the best hotels in rameshwaram , extremely clean. I totally fell in love with the rooms. They have these beautiful paintings just above the bed post. Damn I missed taking a picture. The bathrooms are also spacious. The food was delicious but is on the higher side. They have a pure veg restaurant. Loved the overall vibe of this hotel. Looks like a palace from the outside. And it is 2kms from the temple and very convenient.

What can improve: Rooms were quite average. Furniture, bathrooms, walls need maintenance / painting and probably an upgrade as well. Staff behavior could improve as well.. there was no one to help us inside the lobby area. What is good: Though buffet spreads were limited, the overall quality was very good. I don't know if it's a demand supply equation but I thought cost of stay was on the higher side. For example:- Rs 7k+ per night including breakfast for 2 adults in comparison to Rs 6.8k in a 5 star hotel - The Lalit, chandigarh which also includes breakfast with a far wider spread and a similar quality of food with modern furnished room.. made me feel why is this place expensive. On the same note, The Hyatt in Rameswaram was also costing Rs 10k. So, I took this Daiwik.

This is the worst hotel that i have ever stayed in my life. Please do not get deceived from the building outside thinking you get a good hotel to stay. The washroom is so dirty and stinky. The corridors have stenchy foul smell. The room floors are sticky. All the properties inside are dusty including the tv remote. The staff are not attentive and the reply β€œsir it is an old hotel” my answer is then you maintain it properly or close it for good. REGRET!

The hotel on its own is good, the rooms are good for 3 people with an extra bed. Washrooms are underwhelming considering the charges. On the other hand, it has a great breakfast service, though they only provide veg options. It is also close to the temple if your purpose of stay is pilgrimage

Good hotel, clean, spacious rooms. Reception staff need more training to be welcoming. On the day I checked in the receptionist who attended us wasn't friendly ( or didn't present friendly). One of the best hotels available in the area.

Good hotel with helpful staff. Hotel has a good restaurant offering buffet style food for all 3 meals. Also offers room service. Clean rooms and okay amenities. Wish the sheets were little more fresh but did not smell or anything

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, good bathroom and toilet, wet area and dry areas separated. Restaurant is good. We had dinner and breakfast this restaurant, quality of food is good ,but choices are limited. Very friendly and nice staffs. Connected rooms available here, bedding and other furnishing materials are not up to the mark, water bottles kept in rooms are very cheap. . Pre booking with advance payment is helpful in securing your rooms in advance during peak season as this is one of the best hotels at Rameshwaram.

We stayed at this hotel on April 7 and 8, 2022. The bad - We were in room 206. This room's ac was not working. The staff fixed it. The next day ac again stopped working. Repeated complaints did not make any difference. We asked for a change in room, which was agreed upon. The new room, 209, had a strong smell of cigarettes; their staff acknowledged it. Finally we were shifted to room 223, which was nice. - food was never hot (soup, sambar, rasam, curry etc), it was always luke warm. I mentioned it to them, but that made no difference either when we went for the next day's breakfast. The good - The hotel is close to the temple and some average beaches. - clean and tasty veg restaurant - the staff are helpful This hotel, in spite of its quirks, stands out as a good option - I wish it had lived up to our reasonable expectations.

I visited Daiwik hotels restaurant for lunch. Over priced. Useless staffs. Horrible service.Buy the food was descent. I felt the chef is good and he is literally running around to cook and serve food while other staffs who are supposed to serve are arguing over each other for God knows what. The management should look at this matter very seriously because the decor and arrangements have a class but everything will go in vein if the staffs are not well mannered and good in hospitality. Will not risk in visiting this place again if coming to Rameswaram or Dhanushkodi.

Overall, I would say the hotel is good. the location is well chosen. they also have good hall for large gathering, a fitness center, a recreation room. and are otherwise good with their hotel care. they lack good service. for the star status they are in they would be better and much more appreciated if they took care of their customers. the a/c in the restaurant was not working on day i was in. and was very disappointed in the way they handled the situation.

We went there for lunch buffet. The spread was apt, the prices reasonable. The staff is polite and I personally like the Tomato Rice. It’s one of the best restaurants in Rameswaram and I would come back again when I visit Rameswaram. They also served hot chapatis which was a pleasant surprise for me. Extra points for hygiene. Highly recommended.

Nice and clean rooms. Quite spacious rooms. The staff is very polite. Food is good. Restaurant staff are nice . I am giving four stars as the delivery takes a lot of time due to the shortage of staff. The hotel is good to stat only if they can increase the restaurant staff

Hotel experience was good, service was a little shortening since we called room service on two occasions where our requests were not fulfilled. Although staff did their regular job exceptionally well. A little focus on deep/micro cleaning will be icing on the cake, like bathroom corners, electric kettles cleaning etc.

Decent hotel with barely any open space to walk or sit on the ground floor. Claustrophobic lobbies outside rooms with almost zero ventilation. Room sizes are good but the bathroom size is really really small for the price they charge. Definitely not a 4-star property as they call it. Food quality is alright but again the charges are on higher side. The Gym and Indoor activities are all stuffed in the same room, and not as a 4-star/3-star hotel would have it. Restaurant staff is nice and helpful. Overall a very decent and neat option only that the pricing is not justified for the service/quality they're offering.

Daiwik Hotel is the best possible property in Rameswaram. It is accessible , on the highway itself, it is maintained clean and hygiene , the rooms are very worth for the price paid, all amenities were provided, restaurant food is tasty and fresh.the hotel makes you feel comfortable and safe, which is what any family traveller would look for. From the front office staff to the staff in banquet all are very co-operative. The security needs to act up a bit other than that you cannot really find a minus with this place. Thank you!

The rooms are ok but not the cleanest. The best part was when we got to the hotel we had our rooms booked The hotel staff "upgraded" our room from King beds to queen beds. Can you believe it ? As a return gesture I am also upgrading their rating from 3 stars to 2 stars. They earned it πŸ˜‰ !!

We stayed in the suite room for one night. The room was luxurious with excellent amenities and good fittings. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent. The food tasted superb. We also had snacks, they were absolutely fantastic too. The only thing that was not upto the mark was the service. They took 45-50 minutes to serve the snacks and at dinner told that a-la-carte would take about 40-50 minutes, you can opt in for buffet. Refilling and service of breads during the same was extremely poor too. Room service was fine but nothing extraordinary to be appreciated. The staff was helpful and everything but didn't know what was the reason behind this service issue. Except that everything was 10/10. Overall I don't have any regrets, it was a great, luxurious stay.

Conveniently located by the highway near Rameswaram town. Rooms were clean. Staff really courteous and professional. Surprised to find that all the staff were speaking Hindi to the guests. They do not have a covered parking space for motorcycles. But we were not willing park them out in the rain so after some negotiations, we were allowed to park in a shed. The restaurant of the hotel offers only vegetarian options, but was tasty. Had buffet and a la carte options for dinner.

Daiwik has always been my favourite place of stay in Rameswaram ever since it was launched here more than a decade ago. While food and facilities are good here, what matters to me the most is the polite and courteous staff and the human connect. They are there ever ready to help you, address your issues big or small. Thank you Daiwik management for creating such a likeable place

Rameswaram is a small city and there are few good properties..Daiwik Hotel is one of them. Location wise it is placed well. I stayed for two nights in their superior room. For two people, room is decently spaced. Bathroom was also clean with basic toiletries. Food at the restaurant - Ahaan is decent. Scope for improvement is there. But if you compare to with other eating places, the food served is above average. Front desk and staff at their restaurant are soft spoken and very humble..

In experienced staff to handle restaurant. Food is not good, lacked taste. Buffet charges Rs 500+ taxes is way too much for the kind of food on offer. I would recommend restaurant in JKR Resort as the food varieties was impressive, but the staff were not welcoming.

We got the best experience ever in our south journey. Rooms were very clean, staffs were highly active and professional, even got the laundry in very affordable prices and on time. The best part were two inter connected rooms which feels like staying with family when members are 3+. Food was really good but littlebit expensive. Overall our experience was too good, highly recommended in my opinion.
