The
hotel
was
easy
to
find;
but
the
experience
was
not
as
expected
of
a
4-Star
hotel.
The
hotel
was
undergoing
renovation
when
we
visited,
which
was
not
informed
at
the
time
of
booking,
though
I
called
the
hotel
directly
for
the
booking.
It
was
supposed
to
be
a
Work-ation
and
it
was
inconvenient
to
even
sit
in
our
room
due
to
the
annoying
drilling
noise
that
was
right
on
top
of
our
room.
Bathroom
had
plumbing
issues,
water
was
getting
blocked
which
had
to
be
rectified.
It
took
some
time
and
multiple
complaints
for
them
to
change
our
room,
and
give
us
a
room
a
bit
away
from
the
noise.
Room
was
spacious
but
dusty,
though
we
were
told
that
the
room
was
freshly
cleaned
and
prepped
for
us.
Photographs
attached
show
that
the
place
needs
a
make-over.
The
room
had
a
balcony,
but
the
door
handle
had
been
removed
making
the
balcony
inaccessible.
They
should've
installed
fixed
windows
instead
of
presenting
a
broken
handle
to
guests.
Bathroom
could
use
better
lighting
and
better
quality
amenities.
Housekeeping
team
and
their
services
did
not
seem
too
great
and
prompt.
The
highlight
and
best
part
of
the
stay
was
their
dining
space
and
food
quality.
The
dining
hall
is
huge
and
food
was
yummy.
We
had
their
buffet
dinner
which
is
very
affordably
priced,
and
food
seemed
fresh
and
the
staff
was
pretty
forthcoming.
Breakfast
was
lovely
too!
And
ofcourse
we
over-ate
since
both
the
meals
were
great!
One
thing
which
we
noticed
though,
that
the
staff
seemed
very
young,
not
even
sure
if
many
of
them
were
18,
but
this
we
noticed
in
many
places
in
Rameswaram
and
Madurai
too.
We
understand
if
a
property
is
undergoing
renovation;
but
prior
information
to
the
guests
about
it,
sets
expectations
and
all
the
associated
inconveniences
don't
come
as
a
surprise.
The
place
seems
to
have
potential;
if
housekeeping
is
as
efficient
as
the
kitchen
and
dinning
room
team,
it
probably
would
be
the
best
stay
option
in
Rameswaram.
But
that
choice
and
decision
remains
with
the
management
:-)
