Washroom door paint was peeling. Washroom was not kept clean and was smelling bad. No hot water for bathing even at 7AM in the morning. Rooms are stuffy. Can't open the windows as there are no mosquito nets. Basic things like towel and soap are not provided. No attached restaurant. The frontdesk do not know how to deal with guests and pick fights if you question their policies. Packaged drinking water is charged above MRP which is illegal. Check-in, check-out time is 12-noon which is very inconvenient in a temple town. Lodges in other temple towns like Madurai offer 24-hour checkout which is very convenient for the guests. Not worth the price. Very poor experience staying in this hotel even though it's located close to the temple. EDIT: In response to the owner's feedback to the review: If I hadn't stayed at the hotel, how will I know the intricate details of how the hotel operates? I've left the review for potential guests to be aware of the issues with the hotel/lodge. Going by past reviews from other guests, it's evident that none of them were taken seriously by the management as nothing seems to have improved. The guests who have criticized the hotel have only received condescending and holier-than-thou sermons from the owner. Such an attitude from the owner of an establishment in the service industry is truly shocking.

Stayed here for a night. Poor condition of room and bathroom. Checked in at 10:00pm on Saturday night. Checked out on Sunday at 1:00pm. Had requested for late checkout and was told they will allow 2-3 hours. But I was given only 1 hour that too with constant reminders. Very unfriendly Staff and they were reminding about my checkout from early morning, which is very awkward. Due to this attitude and poor facilities, I moved to Rameswaram Grand for next night stay. I would never recommend this place. Also, I was mandated to go for extra mattress and paid 300Rs+Tax for a poorly maintained mattress. I just saw the response and surprised to see the incorrect facts and on top of that arrogant tone "do not write what comes to your mind". Ok, for argument sake (booked on phone and was told about check out by 12:00pm), let us ignore this check out time thing. Focus on the room quality and mattress quality. Do respond selectively that too in a tone to shut the customer up. I checked out and paid almost similar price (~+/- 100 Rs) in a hotel with much better facilities for the next night.

Windows of non-a/c room should be open to admit air circulation. It was closed and we did not open the window as no mosquito nets installed. When you agree to accommodate 3 guests in the room and charge more, then it should be big enough for that which can hold 3rd mattress and also an extra fan. But it is not big and also no space to put the mattress on floor. Who will dare to sleep on floor with no air circulation? So denied the extra bed and slept on the same cot just changing the sleeping direction. Washroom not clean and i could see a lot of complaints are there on this. There are a lot of simple equipments sold in market, even auto ones with brush added to motor. If the servants are not able to clean it properly you should buy these and give it to them. Taking bath and using closets in that washroom was really awkward. ++ Walkable from West gate of temple, lot of food options nearby, lot of shops nearby, walkable from bus stand, ample car parking, cool staffs, you can dry clothes on open terrace.

Doesn't deserve star status. We stayed there for two days on 22nd and 23rd Dec 22. First issue is regarding 12 noon cut off time. If some one comes in the morning and leaves evening, they have to pay for two days!. Means they charge you for the services they didn't render. 12 noon cut off is a trick to charge more. Even small hotels give basics like soap for bath. This was not there. Even cleaning was not done properly. Hot water not there even i@6 am. 12 noon cut off is followed by high end business class hotel not @ religious places. Definitely not worth for money, particularly when they display Bhagavadgita book in their reception.

Excellent place to stay walkable distance from west gate. Best part they have a dedicated parking place. Would recommend this hotel for staying. They don't have attached restaurant so have to go out for every meal. But at lot of options in a walkable distance.

Average place, not worth the money. Rooms were spacious, but AC didn't work for more than 2-3 hours. Room furniture and flooring needs an update, everything is looking quite old now. Only location and good parking are the advantages.

Stayed here more than 6 to 8 times. Rooms are very clean. Non AC rooms are affordable. Good value for money. We paid Rs.950 for 2 bed Non AC per night. Have a attached restaurant but due to COVID not functional. But you get Coffee Tea 24ร—7. Parking space is huge. Around 40 to 50 cars/bikes can be parked and safe. Ambience of Hotel is Superb. Hotel is designed according to Vastu Shastra strictly.. You can dry cloths in Terrace. Just 200 meters from West Gate of Rameshwaram Temple. For taking bath in 23 Thirtha tell the Reception at least 1hr in advance. They will arrange a guide to take you around all thirta for snan and payment for snan guide fee and dharshan all can be paid on returning to hotel. Great Service.. Raghavendra Temple Pejawar Mutt both are nearby. Contact Reception for Pithru Karya or Shraddha one day in advance..Two Maarwari Dhabas near West gate. Also South Indian Punjabi food freely available. AC rooms cost around 1400 to 1500 depending on season..

Pros: 1) Very near Rameshwaram temple. 2) Facility for cloth hanging to dry them out Cons: 1) Hot water was not available, for any of the day during stay. 2) Even while asking staff too politely for any information, they start shooting us even for staff mistake. Very rude staff. 3) Ac controllability was not there (Ac remotes were not functioning) 4) Even asked many times for hot water, it was not provided. For anything customer essential service, staff was was bluntly saying no. 5) Even for extra plate, spoon- staff was not providing them easily. 6) Staff was acting as if they are doing favour on us, even if full advance amount was already paid. 7) Even For extra towels (as we have booking for 6 people), staff was shouting us- and bluntly saying no (even if the full 6 people booking amount was paid). 8) For 2 night stay, we have asked for room cleaning only for one time, and the housekeeping staff was shouting on us, and behaving rudely. 9) Book this only if you have no other options left. No value for money.

The staff is very supportive and understanding. Guided all about how to visit the temple and all the places nearby. The rooms however are dingy. The rates are okayish. Good for one night.

This hotel fails to justify its tariff in all arena which can be described as follows:- Staff personnels:-Bunch of crooks. Television:-Absent Air conditioner:-Defunct. Water faucets:- Non-functional (constant dripping of water) Wi-Fi:-Absent. In-hotel dining:- Absent. Room service:- Absent. Provision of drinking water:- Absent. Instead of showing any attribute of rectification, the hotel personnels are blatantly lying in the name of Krishna as there is no connection to Krishna consciousness. They did not comply to their claim of providing 15% discount(as per their main website). In other words, they are simply cheating people in the name of Krishna.

Lousy room. They told A/c room. A/C wasn't working, but changed the room after we complained. Toilets were smelling bad. The hotel needs complete renovation. The whole building toilets etc are old with lot of patch work. They need to renovate big time. Rooms are small and there is no chair to sit. No toiletries given. No dining no restaurant attached. My advice is this is not a good hotel to stay.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at ! I found the rooms to be comfortable ,the staff very attentive . A place such as this is clearly one of luxury , and from the outside the interiors are stunning . Staff were friendly and helpful . The rooms were spacious and comfortable . Excellent ambiance. Located only 16 minutes away from the temple . I strongly recommend a stay to experience its richness

Walkable distance from the temple, good parking facilities, rooms spacious and good. But bathroom was horrible. Too small, bad smell and no proper ventilation. Consider the price theyโ€™re charging for this room, they must provide mineral water and toiletries. Not worth for the price they charged but all other hotels in Rameshwaram are little expensive

It's a basic accommodation service near the temple. I have booked an executive room. Location wise it's wise to choose this place. What can be improved is better A/C than current noisy one there are a lot of power failures at night and I have not seen a generator backup available.

Checked in for a night. Off the main road closer access to the temples West entry. Car parking is on opposite side of the property. Average bedrooms.

Location is good - just 5 min walk from main temple. Rooms were bit dingy. Charge per room that I paid for deluxe room was 2500/-(with tax), I feel that price was on higher side - considering the room. Staff were courteous and understanding. No issue faced for AC and water.

I would say in one word - Bakwaas! Firstly, the property is so outdated with all the facilities resembling a lodge and not at all of a hotel; They advertise Free wifi. But the wifi range is only till their lobby / reception. Not to any rooms; Washrooms closets are broken, of very poor quality; service was patheticโ€ฆ We had to remind their staff for blankets, water, etc. And yesโ€ฆ They only provide water in their dirty steel jugs. When asked for a bottle of mineral water, they billed me 25 rs for a bottleโ€ฆ Thatโ€™s not all, in room no. 113, the fan regulator doesnโ€™t work. It stays at maximum speed and same is with their AC. The entire night, we were unable to sleep coz either you need to sleep in extreme cold room with AC and Fans on full speed or you need to sleep in extreme hot condition because rameswaram is really really hot; Overall, I would suggest to book any other hotel in this area. This is not a hotel. This is a cheap lodge.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the western entrance of the temple. Rooms were nice. Spacious car parking is available just opposite to the hotel. Washroom could be a bit more neat.

Good part is the location which is at walkable distance from local bus stops (not main bus stand) and the temple. However the rooms are below average. The towels and bedsheets had stains all over. Ants were found across beds and walls.

This place is calm and clean. No disturbance from outside. Good parking facilities available. We came family stayed here over one night and walkable distance from temple. Itโ€™s not modern facility but quiet old nice place.

Pros: 1) good ambience 2) the area is not much crowded and is away from the temple crowd. 3) online booking facility available 4) parking facility at the opposite side of road (slightly difficult to find, get help from front desk) Cons: 1) no restaurant available at a walkable distance 2) they provide hot water only during morning hours 3) scope for improvement in bathroom cleanliness 4) personal experience: defective air conditioning, suffered the whole night.

Located very close to temple hardly 500m with ample space for parking opposite to hotel. It's old property so rooms have started showing age, but they were quite clean. Only issue they don't have in house restaurant so you have to go to main road for food. They also helped us with Agent who took us for kund bath and Darshan.

Had a comfortable stay a few days back.We were three families all senior citizens. Very good ambience, polite and efficient staff, good parking facility, The hotel has thoughtfully provided a good airy space to dry clothes.Otherwise after bath in sea and in the 22 wells, all in dripping clothes rooms would have become a message. Would definitely recommend to others

I visited rameswaram with my family last month.. friend of mine recommended this place.. when I checked in it was early in the morning, still the service team was active and guided us enough.. the room was newly renovated and bathrooms were clean. The ambience was mix of a tradition and morden ,the place was so quiet and listened to birds after long time ...the service team helped us by giving enough information patiently and arranged for few things.. the parking and the driver facility was good so our driver was happy . We stayed there for two days and we didn't have single complaint. I would strongly recommend for people who wants to have a peace full stay.
