Perfect location to stay as the hotel is located very close to the temple.....just a few meters away from one of the temple entrance. The rooms were clean and the food was also good. There was an abundant parking facility opposite the hotel and also a space for drivers to rest and freshen up.

While the location was good, the service can be better. The staff were polite and friendly but needed reminding about small things such as taking order in the restaurant or providing cutlery etc. The reception staff members seemed well trained but others need more training. Housekeeping was good but amenities like ironing board were not available. The breakfast menu is adequate but gets very monotonous and addressing this will be useful. However I shall still recommend this hotel to others!

I would very strongly recommend against staying here. Just some of the shocks we experienced: - The staff repeatedly lied to us and ignored us as we spoke to them - The room didn't even have hot water or a real shower - The hotel doesn't allow guests to pay by card if the card is from outside of India (even though every other hotel we've been staying in allowed it without issue) - There was no effort made whatsoever to even help us when this happened - There was no cleaning of the rooms during our stay - Even the most basic of items we asked for (eg a small bag for our laundry) was met with vicious faces and rude remarks I would very very strongly advise against coming here. The room was highly overpriced and the repeated lying was so disappointing from a place supposedly offering a service. It has ruined our trip we were so looking forward to.

The hotel ambience is good. Rooms are spacious. But basic facilities are missing. No kettle provided, bed mattresses are extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The staff did not help us when we needed basic facilities. Washroom is ok. The restaurant food was good.

Best hotel , very nearest to the temple only 4min away. Good private parking space. Clean rooms. Delicious food. Free breakfast is also very tasty and hotly served. The dining could have air conditioned. It tends to be nauseous while crowded.

Hotel Ashoka is a very close proximity to all the tourist attractions which is one of the biggest plus points. The rooms are okay. Be got one room for two adults into kids. It had a television, water and a small sitting area it was a little congested. We were so tired that I have not taken a single picture of this place. The toilets are just okay, I feel to understand why in India the shower is not partitioned. This is one of the major problems that we face with the kids because they prefer dry bathrooms and there is no way in toilets like this that dryness can be maintained. The service was also just okay. Next time will be seeing some better places. The Buffet breakfast that we paid for was just very average and for both days it was the same breakfast. The pictures are from their restaurant. When we were making the payment for the stay they told us to make separate payments not in the card for the food which was a little odd. The lifts are very dingy. It could be a good place for bachelors of spinsters to stay but I would not recommend for a family.

The rooms are large, tidy, and comfortable. The staff is friendly. Quite close to the Rameshwaram Temple. Parking space is in abundance. Staff members are constantly seated on the stairs, however they are always willing to assist us. Due to inadequate training, restaurant staff occasionally behaves impolitely. The food is delicious . I reserved two sizable rooms using the Goibibo app, but when I got there, I saw I needed three different rooms. I had to give the hotel additional thousands of rupees to use that. Other than that, it was a positive experience.

Hotel Ashoka was our pick when we were doing our initial screening of hotel selections and truly it did not let us down. We had booked a family room with Balcony. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds enough to easily accommodate 4 people. Hot water was available 24*7 thanks to geyser. The water cooler was also available at arms length because of which we didn't have to buy a bottle of water. The only thing which lacked in our room was a mini fridge. Coming to the food, the breakfast was really tasty with vegetarian south indian spread. Chutneys will not let you down. Tea and coffee and a sweet was nice. We also had dinner on one day and dal tadka, jeera rice and aloo gobi sabji didnt let us down. Overall a good hotel with very close proximity to the north gate of Ramanathaswamy temple. Hotel should now keep a good set of towels is my personal recommendation.

We checked into Hotel Ashoka on 3rd of August and checked out on 4th. We had a lovely stay, and the hotel was very nice and clean and run by lots of young people. The restaurant was vegetarian, and it was top class! It’s not too far from Rameshwaram beach, but don’t use google maps to find it as it can take you through very small alley ways.

Hotel is nice. Rooms are quite big with neat and clean bathrooms. Beds are little bit uncomfortable. Very nearby to the main temple just 220 meters of walking. Located in a very quite street of residence. Overall stay was good. Services are quick. Bell boys are very good. Location in the best. Food is pathetic so please don't take room with breakfast please. Food quality worse. Take room only plan.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel's cleanliness and warm ambiance immediately put us at ease. Moreover, its strategic location within walking distance from the main temple made our religious journey convenient and stress-free. The staff's hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, making it a truly memorable and enjoyable time for all of us. They had good car park. Easy access to danuskodi and the temple We will definitely be returning!

This hotel is located very close to the Rameshwaram temple and other tourist locations. They have car parking available. Room looks new and clean but it is small in size . TV in the room was not working all the time and no kettle provided. Staffs are kind and supportive. Their inhouse restaurant service and food is not up to the mark. The complimentary breakfast is really a waste of money.

Not a great experience overall Rooms are spacious, washrooms are very narrow, But service is not that great. 1. when asked for plastic chair they provided stool, Have to visit front desk and pick up chair from shop near front office, 2. Also there is rate card for everything behind door, Family was so annoying as well miserable at same time, have been travelling from ~11 years visited 4+ county, > 250 cities never show such price chart, 3. While going for breakfast first time observed limited tea/coffee, paid for 4 person so got 4 tea/coffee for 5th have to pay 30 rs. 4. While checking out, keep asking about key finally have to explain kid is using washroom , they don't have patience. 5. Paid for 4 person stay but to get 4 kit of have to explain front desk. 6. In restaurant asked multiple time to turn on AC but only 2/~5 Ac they turned on while having full house. Not all bad, some positive as below. 1. Good parking space. 2. Food at restaurant at fair enough for test and price 3. Front desk is ok, suggested to visit temple in noon which was good idea as there was less crowd. 4. Cleaning is good.

New Property. Rooms were comfortable with neat and clean washrooms. Reception is responsive and checkin was smooth. There is a shop near reception selling home decoration accessories which seemed decently priced. It is walking distance from temple gates. The restaurant in the property served tasty food. Mushroom Fried rice was good.

Decent place to stay. Ample parking, good food, polite staff. Rooms are small but its more than enough. Has all basic amenities and is well maintained. Located on a small alley, getting here could be a bit confusing as google tends to take you down really narrow alleys.

I stayed in room 217 with my parents. Excellent room condition. North indian food is really good in hotel. We ordered lunch from the restaurant itself which was very delicious(we ordered dinner again). Service was really good. Excellent coworkers. A walkable distance from the temple. North Gate is the closest gate. Drinkable water was there for free.

Spacious and clean room. Decent service. Good restaurant at reasonable rate. Reception area does not have good waiting area. Lack of sofa/chairs can cause you sit outside on floor.

Hi, Hotel Ashoka... stands with its name... During this pandemic period they keep the room clean and hygiene. Free toothbrush with ayruvedic tooth paste, mini soap, shampoo and coconut oil is kept for free.. two water bottles are provided free.. one thing to be changed is door mat... food is of good quality.. for our family we ordered dinner room service is good and north Indian food is of good quality. Roomservice is also good timely service . Staff there are smooth and responds good. While checkout our cab was in problem for nearly two hours and they have arranged us another cab..

I opted to stay in Premium Suite at this hotel to stay close to the Rmeaswaram temple. It's just walkable to the temple. The premium suite was very spacious to stay, I liked it. Though the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were small and needs more improvement.

Rooms were clean and neat. The bed was a bit small for a family of 4. But they provide extra bed for an additional fee. Location was very convenient to visit the temple. Service was great. Breakfast was good!
