My stay here left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the positives - the hotel's location was truly amazing. It is right on the beach and just a few minutes walk away from the temple.I had a mesmerizing view of the surroundings from my room. Speaking of rooms, they were impressively spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay experience. The food at the hotel's restaurant was generally good, but I must admit, I found the variety to be somewhat limited. Although the breakfast buffet did offer some variations, I was hoping for a more diverse selection of dishes to choose from. Unfortunately, my experience with the staff wasn't entirely positive. While some were polite and accommodating, others seemed less attentive and welcoming. The restaurant staff, in particular, came across as somewhat rude, which was disappointing. In conclusion, Hotel Fortune in Rameshwaram has a lot of potential, thanks to its amazing location and spacious rooms. However, improvements in the variety of food options and the training of staff, especially in the restaurant, would enhance the overall guest experience.

Rooms are fine but beware as when you reach there at the last moment hotel staff will say that the room is not available even though you have paid advance money. Miserable service ....you order a towel you'll get after like 20 calls and sometimes you'll get coffee instead of a towel. Staff is not supportive at all, No professionalism . Never ever recommending this place for anyone to stay. And one important thing No view in sea view rooms ...they'll charge you for a sea view room having a balcony with just a glimpse of the sea somewhere saying it's partially sea view.... Pathetic. However food is good if you want to spend a huge amount just for a meal.

Rooms are ok as far as the cleanliness of Rameswaram is considered, location not that awesome, food mostly north indian, rate high, less variety and since not many restaurants are available around the area we are forced to take buffet dinner, breakfast is complimentary not that tasty or worth the amount we pay. The heaters of some rooms were not working. Reception will arrange local guides for darshan but too costly so better fix rate before you take their help still may get cheated. As a whole I prefer to give an average rating.

My Experience was beyond the imagination. So first of all I was really scared by going through few of the google reviews, but I guess those are fake reviews. My experience was different from them, I found the hotel room facilities fantastic and very net and clean. Staff behaviour was very polite and gentle. Hotel service was good. The thing I like the most was hotel location just on the beach side.

Hotel location is good. Food and vessels were not clean and hygiene. Staffs are friendly. Rooms were terrible. Not worth 4000 per night. TV in room was not working. First I stayed in 210 and room was full of ants and cockroaches. Requested room change and got shifted to 216. Toilet door lock is not working and got stuck in toilet till service person came to fixed it. He asked to use toilet without closing the door. Pathetic experience. Avoid this place at any cost!!!

We took standard room. The room was smelling like ocean fishy and I had to clean again as some kind of stickiness on floor. We reached early around 6:30 am but had to wait till 11:30 am and reached very cold response at reception. No helping nature. Food was OK but too buttery. Location is 1km from Angithertgam but If you don't have own vehicle the be ready to spend Rs. 100-80 for each ride. The auto guys are completely looting here. Not but least there is Landry here. Overall really not happy.

The hotel is just opposite to the ocean. All the spots are accessible from here. The staffs are very friendly including the Manager Mr Palani. Food quality is good has own restaurant to serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. If you wish may also have Brunch or evening snacks. Reasonable pricing. Love the ambience and the look of the hotel. Affordable stay for middle and higher income group.

I had stayed at Hotel Fortune on November 11, 2023, just a day before Diwali. The room is quite spacious and the location is perfect for Temple Visit. However, my overall. experience was not that great. 1. Because the location is like 1-2 kms away from the Temple, you will face a lot of traffic and you would be barely able to get your Car Out for a drive. 2. The staff barely speaks or understands English/Hindi. As a owner, I would first ensure training them so they can manage customer expectations and communicate properly 3. Food - while it was tasty but very oily. 4. At reception they also try to Upsell. Some Guy will give you a number of a contact/guide who is going to charge you exponentially for the mandir darshan, which you can manage with 1/10th of the cost. 4. Customer experience - Because we are on a road trip across South India and travelling for long hours from one location to other, we have to leave Early Morning. My expectations were that atleast the staff will have courtesy to provide with the 'on-the-way breakfast's sort of a thing, given we PAID for it but couldn't consume it (had to leave at 5am, breakfast starts at 7).

Location of this hotel is perfect as it is very nearer to the Rameshwaram temple and Agniteertham. Service was good. Rooms were clean and hygienic. The breakfast buffet was not at all worth as the food tasted bland. So I would suggest people to not include complimentary breakfast while booking a stay at this hotel. Overall we had a pleasant stay. It is a sea facing hotel(you can't get the sea view from the rooms clearly but surely from the entrance of the hotel). You can have a walk over there early in the morning, it feels very refreshing.

The only good thing about this hotel are the rooms which are large. Otherwise, their services are very poor. The wifi signal only comes in the reception area and you will get zero internet coverage in rooms. The staff doesnโ€™t understand anything except tamil, and 90% of the food options in the restaurant menu arent available. Hotel also gave us a hand written bill instead of a printed one. And we were asked to check out at sharp 10:00 am in the morning which is extremely inconvenient.

It's an ok place in a great location. Very close to Agni theertham, just on the beach. It allows you for a good walk by the beach and great views of sunrise and sunset nearby. Otherwise the stay is not maintained so well. Probably because of the volume of pilgrims flowing in and out. The sheets don't look like they were cleaned. The towels also don't feel like they are very clean. The bathrooms can be maintained better. The food at the restaurant was decent. Everything we ordered was tasty.

Only good thing about this hotel is location. The room we stayed is 216 and the toilet is in a poor condition. The toilet seat is broken and falling down. We had to take it in hand and place it which is disgusting. We informed the reception but thereโ€™s no action taken. The shower is very slow and water getting clogged. AC is very old and takes 3 hours to cool the room. Except the room which they might have reworked recently, everything is old and broken. The breakfast buffet is 260 per person which is very very costly for the items they provide and the quality of food. For 3000 plus bucks this is very poor hotel.

Totally worthless of the price we paid. The sea facing room they sell, we could just see the sea from the corner of balcony. Service is bad and in morning the hotel smells like phinyle.

Stayed in Hotel Fortune for a day with my family. Hotel ambience was very good, maintained very clean and tidy. Hotel staffs are very friendly and made our stay pleasant. We actually reached the hotel very early well before the check in time. However, we had place to keep our baggage safely and get refreshed. Rooms are clean and well ventilated. Restrooms were clean but only concern was the tap water was bit salty considering its proximity to the beach. Request Hotel management to take any possible measures to soften the water. Availability of Electric Kettle and Water Geyer in every room is an added advantage. Though the hotel is located little away from Temple and Railway Station. It is not a big concern considering the amenities available / arranged on request. Hotel Staff Mr. Venkatesh was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

Guys try to avoid this hotel. The hotel and restaurant staff are very poor and sick. Don't expect any help for luggage either for anything that you need. AC did not work for more than an hour. I booked the hotel with my family and 2 infants. The only good thing here is the taste of food at the restaurant is good and unfortunately the serving people have a full attitude. You will be treated like you are eating at charity. The manager at the restaurant is hopeless and rude. You can't get a bill at the restaurant. Overall experience is really poor. I felt really disappointed. Left the place checking out early. What ever you see good reviews 80 percent of the reviews are planted by the hotel staff.

It was a great stay at Hotel Fortune, we booked a family suite, it was quite spacious and clean. Hotel staff was quite helpful and prompt with the service. They happily accommodated early check-in and helped us with keeping our luggage after check-out for 3-4 hours since our train was delayed. Their complimentary breakfast was one of the best meals I've ever had in any hotels. All over a pleasurable experience.

Situated right in front of beach, you can see the sea straight from hotel and from some rooms too. The room's are spacious and clean. It's one of the best hotels I saw in Rameshwaram. The restaurant is vegetarian and food is also very good, they have a buffet option too during dinner and lunch. We had a medical situation during our stay and the staff provided all the help even the owner helped us a lot.

We stayed there for 2 days. Booked the Superior Room with a balcony (Sea-Facing). Although its only partially sea facing but thatโ€™s okay. Room was very spacious but dimly lit to our liking. Bathroom was okay, the pressure in the health faucet as well as the shower was too low. Reported it to the concerned person, they tried to fix it but result was the same. Few electrical boards were not fixed properly, we got them fixed. It was clean though. Coming to the restaurant, we found it decent. The order takes time to get prepared and the same has been mentioned on their menu card. Person in charge - Samuel is very friendly and ensures the delivery of your order. You also get baskets of fryums till the time your Dinner arrives.

One of the best hotels in Rameshwaram near the temple (~1 km). I have stayed there twice and both times we got amazing service. The staff are very cordial. There are rooms with sea facing balconies and there is ample car parking space. The in-house cafeteria prepares good food and offers room service. They even arrange for sightseeing. Would surely recommend it for families and longer stays.

We had two night stay with family . Furniture in room is bare minimum. The hotel has just been upgraded from a very average hotel known by some other name. Service is yet to improve a lot since almost all housekeeping staff are trainee students from institute and paid peanuts. Hot water problem since solar heated, so you have to request to housekeeping. Located near sea hence lots of dragon flies and insects in room and washroom. Not too close to temple so plan or book auto in advance if you want early morning mani darshan .

Nice hotel with big rooms and partial sea view balconies. Everything including room, location, quiet is very good. Except service. Tooo slow service. Need to wait a very long time to get food. Need to improve on it apart from that was good experience.

I booked 2 rooms at the hotel fortune. The location of the hotel was near sea shore. The room service was good and they attended our issues fast. But the rooms weren't clean. There was bee nests in the bathroom. There was a hole in balcony through which millipedes were coming. Breakfast was somewhat good. If they solve the maintanence issues and clean the rooms properly, then we might get the best value for money hotel in rameshwaram.

Recommend booking online, deciding to come in person or book over phone is not the best experience. Over all though, excellent rooms, were clean and modern and spacious. We had no issue with parking and steps from the beautiful chaos that is Rameswaram. AC worked well, and we had a nice view from our balcony.

Neat hotel very close to the sea. The templeโ€™s east tower is also at a walkable distance from the hotel. I am not happy with the food. Lunch and dinner they have mostly North Indian dishes. For breakfast they charge Rs 260 per head and the options are also less. They donโ€™t have alacarte for breakfast. So either you are forced to eat outside or pay them such huge money for a minimal breakfast.

One of the best options for sea facing accomodation. Rooms were neat and tidy. Decent car parking space. Staff is courteous. Attached hotel so dining options are good. At room service also available. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Very nearby to the temple.
