The great missile man memories awesome place. One of the most beautiful places in Rameshwaram. I am personally an admirer of Dr. Kalam and visiting the memorial presented in such a good and modern manner attracted me a lot. It had a documentary running and the views of students on Kalam. Quotes by Kalam were hanging on the pillars and it had a beautiful statue just at the entrance and the centre of the museum as well. The place is nicely lit and beautiful planned depicting his entire journey and achievements. His contribution to india are commendable not only as a scientist but as a human being as well.

A great legendary former President of India and late Dr. A P J Kalam's Memorial Museum at Rameshwaram is a great dedication for his wonderful and humanly contribution to the nation. Strictly mobiles are not allowed. An amazing collection of photos of Dr. Kalam's depicting life history is well displayed. His ever smiling statues of wax or stone or any moulding with multi-actions in his various indebted services to nation. His fondness for children and disabled persons is well highlighted. If All photos size are big it would have been still enjoyed more. His last minutes addressing gathering in NE state of india is very well imitated in show. Finally, it is a well represented tributes to a great personality like Dr. Kalam. Salutes to him.

So, I went to this place, and trust me, leave your phone behind. It's best to absorb the experience of reading and observing his statues. Let me share what I witnessed. His bag contained two simple notebooks where he recorded his thoughts and daily routine. It taught me the essence of humility. Despite being such an extraordinary person, he kept things so simple. It empowers me to embrace humility and simplicity. I noticed his slippers and shoes neatly arranged — a profound symbol of humility that's hard to put into words. Everything displayed in the museum about him encourages a more efficient life with fewer possessions. Lord Krishna's words echo through, emphasizing doing everything as "seva" for others. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir will forever be my inspiration to remain humble, down-to-earth, always ready to give, and dedicated to making a positive impact. He motivates me to simplify my life, avoid unnecessary displays, and consistently contribute to others' well-being. This is a commitment I've made in the past, am living now, and will continue in the future. A sincere salute to you, sir.

Great Tribute for the Great Leader. There are lots of photos and medal collections kept in this memorial, but the one negative thing is there is no photo collection with Local (TN) leaders. It's well Maintained by the Central Government. Very Inspiring to the next generation.

So last week I went to Rameswaram and I visited this beautiful place. No one can really dislike our former President memorial. Three years ago this place was of small small hut but now it's such a heaven. They maintained the place really well. You can never see a garbage or waste particle. Such a cleanest place as how our Former President wished our India to be. They have super security to guard this place. Mobile phones are not allowed inside like we are suppose to switch it off. And outside the memorial we can click pictures. Inside we can see the photograph of his work, life, and social life. We can see the transformation of Sir, from younger to President level. They have also displayed the clothes and his books, gadget he used in his last period. They have cute cute statue of Sir along with national and international people. And mostly statues of children. We all know sir loved children and you can see here. This is a 1000% must place to visit for every Indian, every human in this whole world.

Resting place of one of the Greatest Indian and also one of the finest scientist to have walked on this planet Earth. A humble down to earth human being. He loved all, hate none. This mausoleum throws light into the life and achievements of this great man and also showcases the cultural diversity of India. The various awards received by this legendary Indian has also been showcased here. A 45 feet tall Agni Missile Replica is also showcased here. There is no entry fee. Mobile phones and cameras are not allowed inside the mausoleum. So, aware of that. A must see place for all Indians. You can get down at either Mandapam Railway Station or Rameswaram Railway Station and take bus or taxi to reach here.

The monument is temporarily closed due to covid-19! After speaking with security personnel there the information regarding the opening of the monument is currently not available. So if you plan to visit Rameswaram, please get some local information regarding the opening of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam memorial. Awaiting for a chance to know more about the missile man from his birth place.

This place is beautifully done and has captured our beloved former President’s life too well. As you visit each room, each corner reminds you of his great contributions and his simple principles to live by. I was in awe of this place. Please note that phones are not allowed inside the building. They will ask you to deposit it outside, opposite the memorial in a local stall. They charge you 20 bucks for each phone and you can pay via upi. It might look untrustworthy but you can deposit your phone and roam around.

Only drawback is one cannot take camera or mobile phone inside the place. They should allow camera, it will increase the visibility of the place.

The APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial in Rameshwaram is a truly remarkable place that pays tribute to the renowned scientist and former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Visiting this memorial was an enriching experience. This memorial serves as a fitting tribute to the man affectionately known as the "Missile Man of India." The meticulous preservation of Dr. Kalam's memory is evident throughout the site. One of the most poignant aspects is the remembrance of his final moments during his lecture in Shillong. This somber yet respectful acknowledgment of his last moments adds depth to the memorial. Inside the memorial, you'll find a collection of Dr. Kalam's personal belongings, including his notebook, laptop, and a few items of clothing. These artifacts provide an intimate insight into the life and personality of this remarkable individual. The APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial is a place that not only educates but also inspires. It's a testament to the legacy of a visionary scientist and leader whose contributions to India and the world continue to be celebrated. A visit to this memorial is a journey through history and an opportunity to pay homage to one of India's greatest sons. The only regret is that photography is not allowed inside the building so cannot share photos.
