Worst Place to go. I won't waste my time convincing people not to go here. But have uploaded few pics to show how pathetic this place is and how dejected they would make you feel. Take your wise call after going through these snaps.

Wish we could give negative rating to this pathetic place. Worst management of over booked event we spent 15k for NYE "one night in Paris event" but experienced poor service and food.. there was no space to stand and didn't arrange for seatings atleast 3-4 tables for what we paid,they just wanted to loot money and nothing else.

This is a Saturday night in xu. No body on the floor. Don’t waste your money on this place.

The best damn UNDERGROUND PUB in Bangalore. Has ample space for almost 200-300 people. Staff may not be that great at service so be careful. They usually host good parties as well. Place is completely sound Proof and does not disturb anybody so there’s a very sender chance of a raid by police. During events the arrange good quality speakers and production. Definite worth a visit only on Saturday and Sunday night. Amazing vibes to match with the decor, so all in all a killer venue to dance your heart out.

Not sure about this place otherwise but do not go here if there is an event. I went last night (23-Jul) for the Imran Khan Super Moon show. A lot was mismanaged. Guests were made to stand for 2 hours to get inside. And then there are no chairs inside - none except a VIP space where tables were 15k for 2. Average food - less quantity and exorbitant price. Red bull for 600 - wow .. They also do not care about capacity as the place can probably take in a maximum of 200 only but there were at-least 400 in the club last night. People smoking on the dance floor and no one is there to tell them anything. PLEASE DONT’GO !!!

Couldn't possibly have missed out the Infected Mushroom event hence booked tickets online to attend. Strangely the venue has rules that one cannot carry any sort of drugs inside and people are generally frisked by the security, Only to realise later that people are allowed to smoke everywhere inside the venue. Though there is a designated area for smokers, everyone is allowed to smoke on the dance floor and inside the bar. Infact there are promotors providing free cigarettes to people inside so that they can smoke right there. The experience has left me with remorse. I went there to enjoy the music but the smokers have ensured that the experience is pathetic. The management doesn't care about the health or the safety conditions. I was honestly looking forward to enjoy the evening with one of my favourite bands playing in the city, but I think I have unfortunately wasted my money on this event and I wouldn't visit this venue ever again. We are not in 1970s and I firmly belive that no one should be going through secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke exposure can cause coronary heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, and other diseases.

Class 10th of a school had their farewell party over here. With all things in place to have a safe kids environment in place the bookings were done and the kids were excited to have a get together after a hectic year post covid and online classes but the there was a lot of mismanagement. Food served wasn't good quality or taste. Time period was shortened and kids were asked to leave. Parents had to rush to reach back to the venue to collect them before the time mentioned to them. Everything was average and left everyone disappointed. Not a place where anyone from these 320 families would want to visit again.

Amazing Underground Pub Next to Leela Palace , Good Rough looking ambience , Food was awesome and even service was really fast ,luckily got a VIP Access and it was fully crowded with DJ Madhur Sharma performing super hit Bollywood Songs !! Bit expensive but worth visiting !! Had a Blast

This place was lit. The party was amazing. The entry fee could have been bit cheaper if you enter the place before 9pm despite you buy the ticket. The music was next level and the food options are less im this place. A wonderful place for drinks (expensive) and music and dance.

The management is a joke. They are all very used to never seeing a large crowd. The minute a large crowd shows up for a concert, everything just crumbles and falls apart. They are more than willing to charge exorbitant prices for tickets and cover charges, but do not have the basic experience or facilities to deal with a crowd of this size. Bangalore has a lot of worthy clubs. This is NOT one of them.

The ambiance of Citris was ok and so was the food, nothing great about not anything bad. There was variety, however, nothing much felt like worth visiting again.

One of the finest kitchen in the bengaluru city. Very vastly spreaded dance floor with good lights and sound quality. Most of the small crowded events and concerts happen here. Located at very basement of one of the famous hotel of bangalore that is the leela palace. Food served are average.

Attended the most ridiculous new year party at this place. They literally squeezed in atleast 1000 people in a 100 people space, and the crowd was indecent too. People were struggling to get food and drinks, the scene was worst than a wedding reception in village. Food smelled foul and there were very little options. And they served food at a small hall in basement which looked a servant room. There were people yelling to get the money back (which is apt) and someone even called the police due to misbehavior of organizers. Overall a worst experience, and I came back within 30 mins to not spoil my new year further. Shame on Leela palace too for accommodating XU at their premise

Booked tickets for honey singh event, which was supposed to start at 5 pm. Delay for more than 2 hours. Pathetic service.

These organisers are just out for your money. Whatever your expectation for this party are I guarantee you'll have a bad one even if you're a middle class guy like me. My friends and I were made to wait outside the place for 3 hours because apparently there was no space inside, we had tickets bought and everything required to get it but we couldn't funny. Even after getting in the party which was supposed to be from 12 to 6 we get in at 3 and they send everyone out at 4. Absolute worst ivr ever decided to go to

Most rude serving guys. They have worst possible attitude. And they don’t know how to speak to customers. Also they charge 10% service charge and force customer to pay it even though it has been deemed illegal by government. Also they dare you to file a case against them in consumer court. They are the most sadist people. Avoid this place at all cost if you don’t want to spoil your night. Go somewhere else, there are tons of other good places. They deserve negative rating.

The XU is an open-air space and I went with quite high expectations. The Bar is not a Bar, even though it looks exactly like one. Alcohol has to come from their real bar. It took 15 minutes for my drink to arrive. The food was quite ordinary and not quite up to the standars one would expect from a place like this. As for the ambience - well, it was open air

Visited on 20 feb 21. Sound quality - below average AC/ ventilation - average Staff at entry without masks and when questioned repeating 'I am wearing mask. Snacks and beverage quality- good Cleanship- average Valet parking - will managed in spite of crowd.

This is one happening place! Firstly it’s in one of the most elegant places in Bangalore, Leela palace and the ambiance is superb. It’s got that perfect blend of elegance n spunk to it. Food here is good as well and coming to the music, it’s top notch.

literally has the worst experience. we were literally shocked out of the place and they did not even let us in, cuz apparently there was no space. My four friends and I, we were waiting there for atleast two hours. If UT was going to be house full, why the hell did they sell 50+ tickets more??? very trashy behavior. nor were we informed anything about the refund or a free ticket to another party.

Extremely run down, really below average music on a Saturday night. This is not part of theLeela Palace so the absurd prices have little to justify, whether in ambience or decor or music. Pretty lame.

Nice place to party beneth a 5 star palace. Their resources are not managed to standards of 5 star hotel. Standalone pubs have a great fan following compared to this one.

The place has become a little sad!! Not what it used to be back in the days when it was Athena and something else. Over priced. Can easily settle for some brewery instead, way too many options. Even food is over priced.

It's a pathetic basement trying hard to be a dance floor. There is a ridiculous cover charge and entry charge for this god forsaken excuse of a pub. The service is exemplarily disappointing. Leela palace should take steps to disassociate from this place. Beware they are putting a lot of effort to fool people to come here.

It's a big open space once you enter with a huge stage for DJ playing the music. The seating options are very limited. The food options are okayish. Bar counter is the busiest place and the music is super loud. Drink, dance, eat... Just don't talk!

I had an amazing time at the Shanti People party. It was a great night of music, dancing, and fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time.

When we visited last Saturday...there was no crowd at all, there were counted 15-17 persons only..... avoiding the crowd, rest all was good eg. The ambience, has a good dance floor and tasty 😋 food also.

We went to XU for Dandiya Event thinking it’s gonna be a great experience as it’s under The Leela Palace umbrella… but we had completely opposite experience. We were sold tickets of event on bookmyshow telling the complete money is redeemable but bouncers their denied entry without paying additional 1500 INR per person and the ticket prices were not redeemable at all. We agreed to pay and hoping that we would enjoy the party but as soon as we entered the XU Bar and Kitchen we realised we made a mistake.. The ambience was so below average that it looked less like a Dandiya Event and more like left over cheap Haldi ceremony.. there was weird animal and plant pictures displayed on screen which made no sense… The WASHROOM WAS SMELLING cause the Urinal SENSORS WERE BROKEN…WATER WAS ALL OVER THE FLOOR, MIRROR and VANITY COUNTER. We decided the order food but HALF OF ITEM IN MENU WAS NOT AVAILABLE as if we have come to dhaba and not a five star hotel. The FOOD ARRIVED 90 MINUTES POST ORDERING, THAT TOO BURNED. We had to fight with the bartender/ cashier just the get the food we paid for. The walls were broken and dusty. And the Dandiya music was for just first 30 minutes and later they played Bollywood Disco Music with overwhelming bass.. disgusting.. IT WAS SHEER WASTE OF MONEY. I would not recommend anyone to go over there.

This is place is situated in The Leela Palace in basement and I went here for a Saturday party night and the dj was amazing. There were free shots for ladies until 10:30 PM. The ambience and lighting was lit. We ordered pizzas and it was okayish but we had Zomato Gold so it was compensated as it is highly overpriced because of the place it is situated in.

Dark, loud place. They had organised Dandiya night on 15th oct. The event wasn't On even till 8.30 in the evening. Show time was given at 5pm. Many of us dressed in garba attire, kept waiting. Finally, had to leave the venue due to unbearable loud music

If you are a Middle class North Indian guy who is looking for a place chill and dance to Beats (Mostly Punjabi) and have decent food at decent fair. This is not the place for you, DJ plays most of the Tik Tok songs. People have the audacity to pour a ₹20 Coke in glass in front of you and ask you ₹200 for it. Price is understandable if food, service and ambience is good and here, everything was bad.

Worst experience ever...first of all it is in Leela but it is not at a part of Leela palace. Any other pub or disc in Indiranagar or Kormangala is much better. Also, we ordered vegetarian food and got chicken instead. Nobody was ready to take ownership of this mishap instead. Also, other food we had and the ambience was below par. Not at all worthy of calling it a part of the Leela palace.

Guys, stop going here. Ambience is fcuked up. Food is Sucked up. Alcohols are over priced. Food prices are Ok. Music is Ok. Server boys are good n decent behaviour. The most important thing is.... The floor manager “Manish Pandey” is very rude with the customers and he literally demanding the service charges. His behaviour is not at all acceptable. He speaks like rowdy & shows his fingers while speaking with customers. He says is against the govt rules and he dont care itseems. He says that he can mention the service charges how ever he want. They literally are demanding service charges and scaring the customers.

It was an amazing experience. The DJ there, don't rem the name was very very sweet and polite. Also the guard who was with the DJ was very polite. Simply loved it

it may have taken a while to get to my mouth, but I've found the best paella on the planet, the food here is amazing and so is the ambience, the best part about this place is it is located in a 5 star property and does not hit your pocket much! i would simply say that this place is really worth the money <3
