Situated on the rameshwaram island on very good location which is easily noticeable and accessible. The place is very famous as it used to be the old house of India former president "Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam" also known as " Missile Man". The is place is very famous for shopping unique products made from sea shells and very good collection of other home decor range. The palce is very well maintained and very clean.

Very good shopping centre in rameswaram. Fixed price but not costly. If you want to gift something to your loved ones, after visiting rameswaram try to go here. This has two or three floors of complete set. Full of gift items like fancy earing, fancy bangle, fancy anklet, fancy chains, fancy bracelets, soft toys, hard toys, wooden toys, local toys chappals, fancy bags, purses, pouches, ladies wallet, decorative items for home and shops using shank and seashells. Parking for cars and buses also here. Confused road and very much conjusted. Follow google Maps. On the way to this shopping centre you will see kalam sir's house also. Before entering this shop you must remove your chappals and shoes. That's why very neat inside . But not good attitude by the owner. He should make cleaning staff and make that management properly

Cheaper than other places to buy something unique.. If u guys are planning to buy anything 1st try this place then only look for others.. When I went there I like one stone some said 100 some 60 but here I got it in 20/- guys seriously I highly recommend u to buy from here first then Only move to the next place.. And also if u guys worried about the quality then of course this is best for that too that's why my highly recommending right..

Ok, so this place is only taking advantage of APJA Kalam's name. It is just a fancy store selling over priced ear rings and other ladies ornaments. Avoid the place, nothing special. If you are interested in Seashell products go to the market near the Ram temple, there are better stocked shops, with decent pricing.

We just went to see the store which is huge and has lot of collection. Many artefacts, pictures, shells, bags ans many more items available. It is next to Dr, Abdul Kalam's residence and museum. Lots of jewellery and pearls, sea shells and sea shells...

This sea shell mart is located next to the Dr Kalam House and it is a multistorey Complex and spacious parking lot is available here. If you are visiting Kalam house and want to spare much time can visit here and shop products. There are many sea shell shops in this area with the name of Kalam. So it is not sure which one is original and old amoung all of these.

its a small shopping mall type shop to buy the shell items, toys, decoration items. in near to kalam musiam so many kalam names shell mart opened and frankly we dont know which one is original or best.

Kalam sea shell Mart was a very nice place to get some momento from Rameshwaram, they have good variety of artifacts. Also it is next to the house of Late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam, which was worth visiting.
