In the middle of a crowded city, Chola restaurant offers some decent Indian foods. However, I got to try only chicken biryani, the picture of which I've shared herein. What I've concluded, from my eating experience at different spots in South India is very interesting. There's no meal without HOT spices. The sanitation and cleanliness was in exclamation ❗ status. I could hardly stand in handwashing basin. However, this would be the best spot around 😂

Lovely place to get fish fry and other non-vegetarian meals. The chicken dishes were superb as well. Do not let the appearance scare you away. Seafood is based on what is available for the day, and the fish was sweet and fresh and done very nicely.

The place is good for taking a wholesome meal. They provided food in clean utensils with a foil paper cover. But giving 3 stars because of the following- 1. Basin is not clean. Soap had become very unclean,liquid like. 2. Food quality is not good. I took a veg thali. They provided only rice, daal and aloo sabzi ar Rs100 approx. One can get much better food with the price. 3. Taste of food is average.

I had Kerala parata chicken curry and a big fish fry. Loved it. Parata wasn't much soft still tasty. Like other reviews I didn't find the attitude of the staffs rude or arrogant. Fast service also. Hand wash area can be little bit modified.

I recommend this to all travellers to Rameshwaram looking for non veg options in and around the town.
