Just happened to be landed in hotel and saw the ad about snorkeling there. It was hell of a decision to go for snorkeling. I was a solo women traveller and had my share of apprehensions but I had the experience and made memories of a life time. Mr. Ranjit is a very professional but along with that he make your experience with very personal touch. I was all alone at around 9am for snorkeling. Very patiently he told everything and also very patiently he let me have my share of 1st time experience. I stayed there for around 2.5 hrs and he was there with me all the time. It's once in a lifetime of experience like there's another world under sea. The place is under construction but I think soon it will turn out to be good. Only concerns- * There's no under water camera which could record or take pics but still am happy. :) * They should not let commercialization take toll on coral... Coz it's beautiful!

Ranjit, the main in charge of snorkeling Glass centre is very interested in teaching how to snorkel. Step by step instructions to snorkeling was provided. The waters were calm and just few feet deep. Even non swimmers will be able to enjoy without fear. For 3 of us there were 4 of them. Awesome experience!!!

The best snorkeling place. His name is Ranjith. Very friendly. He took off the fear about water and helped me feel the place. Could see beautiful corals with different colors. Thanks to Ranjith.

Had a good time. Trainer Ranjith is an awesome guy. I was hell scared as I don't know swimming. But the way the trainer motivates and removes your fear is superb.

If you are looking for Snorkeling in Rameswaram this is the place you need to visit.

I spent there one afternoon relaxing on the hammock in this quiet and peaceful place. Ranjith the instructor is a great person and I really enjoyed the time spent chatting with him. The coral reef is just 10 meters from the shore and only 1 meter under the sea level (during low tide), many different living corals can be observed and also some small fishes. Definitively worth the trip from Rameswaram if you seek relax and sea nature.
