One of the cosiest national parks of Romania, a trekking destination all year long, with plenty of natural and antropic attractions. Recommended!

Beautiful place (mostly) unspoiled by excessive tourism. Don't just visit the Lotrisor waterfall, there are so many hiking trails you can combine to make shorter or longer trips, just consult the map available on their website, it's mostly accurate (few exceptions due to last year's storms that caused massive tree falls which obstructs some of the trails, especially on the western side of the park).

Super nice and easy walk to the waterfall. Takes about 1 hour and a half in total from the parking and back. Great for kids and their grandparents as well ;)

Lovely national park with lovely nature and great hiking possibilities. However, it is very very hard to find information within the park about the duration and difficulty of paths. There's also not a lot of options to park and see some of the sites like the Roman building e.g. The only parking option we found was at the monastery which was absolutely fine though since a couple of hiking routes start there.

Very easy access , if not raining Once you get there it's amazing, very nice and quite place, like haven, perfect place for relaxing and recharge with positive energy.

Both easy trail and rocky or gripless terain(safety steel cable present where most dangerous) all from a low altitude around 500m up to over 1500m. This is really nice. Most climbs start from high points and span over the same altitude difference to the top. This allows for all kinds of flora. Plus a really nice monastery at the end of the trail(or start, depending on the chosen direction).
