The
cave
is
extraordinary.
The
landscape
from
the
inside
it
is
very
special
and
worth
all
the
money.
When
I
visited
the
cave,
the
price
of
the
entrance
tickets
was:
>
for
adults
and
students:
20
RON
>
for
students:
10
RON
>
children
under
7:
free
The
local
guide
provides
detailed
information
on
how
the
cave
was
created,
as
well
as
many
other
historical
information
about
it.
From
the
legends,
the
cave
in
the
village
of
Polovragi
is
known
to
have
been
the
home
of
the
god
Zamolxis,
the
advisor
and
guide
to
the
Geto-Dacians.
This
was
the
god
they
worshiped.
The
villagers
learned
from
their
ancestors
and
now
believe
that
the
cave
would
have
been
used
to
reach
from
the
Olteț
Gorges,
through
unseen
and
unknown
tunnels,
directly
on
the
Padeș
Plateau,
to
the
Sarmizegetusa
Fortress.
I
took
several
pictures
inside
and
outside
the
cave
you
can
see.
The
temperature
is
around
9
degrees
Celsius,
so
prepare
proper
cloths.
