The cave is extraordinary. The landscape from the inside it is very special and worth all the money. When I visited the cave, the price of the entrance tickets was: > for adults and students: 20 RON > for students: 10 RON > children under 7: free The local guide provides detailed information on how the cave was created, as well as many other historical information about it. From the legends, the cave in the village of Polovragi is known to have been the home of the god Zamolxis, the advisor and guide to the Geto-Dacians. This was the god they worshiped. The villagers learned from their ancestors and now believe that the cave would have been used to reach from the Olteț Gorges, through unseen and unknown tunnels, directly on the Padeș Plateau, to the Sarmizegetusa Fortress. I took several pictures inside and outside the cave you can see. The temperature is around 9 degrees Celsius, so prepare proper cloths.

It s a nice cave to visit, peace and quiet a lot of trees outside in the forest. Road it s a little bit rough/broken, good for offroad cars.

Nice cave. Really nice to know its history. Also very nice and funny guide :D The tours start hourly 9 am 10 am 11am etc untill last tour at 5pm. Make shure you get there 10 minutes before. I recomend the first parking place because is the biggest and all the other one closer to the cave are always full

A beautiful cave with a long history and home to a bat colony - most of the bats stay in the areas not accessible to tourists but, during their hibernation, you can see a lot of them, sleeping. The Oltet Stream is passing through the mountains and, in front of the cave, there’s a a small path form where the rapids can be admired.

Amazing cave, one of the most beautiful i've visited. Can spend hours in there observing the different formations, shapes and colours. Bats are also present. Kids were thrilled

Long cave with all kinds of rock formations, tiny bats hanging around, and lots of myths surrounding the place dating back to the Dacian period. 20 ron for adults.

Amazing place to visit, great tour guide. The temperature inside is 9-11°C so you have to be prepared for that especially during summer time.

Very nice place. You have to bring with you long pants and jacket if you visit in summer because inside are like 9 degrees celsius and you will feel cold.

Beautiful and interesting place, but rather low quality of services (a bit expensive, a bit dangerous around some places, a bit of stories about energies and the reason why we are in UE/NATO 😅😅😅). Would have loved more scientific facts or interesting stories (not ONLY mystical fairytales).

Cave is wonderful and colorful, guides are 10*. They build the big wooden door during the pandemic. You even have trash bins near entrance. Its clean outside and in. Unfortunetly people wrote stupid things on the cave's walls...

Great story! Nature did a beautiful job with this cave. If you are crossing this area you really have to stop for 30 min and visit the cave. The road is a bit bat for last 3 min but it worth.
