Been here since year 1, lovely ski run, as short as it may be.

Had a chance to enjoy snowboarding at this resort. Despite high temperature and lack of snow it was quite a pleasant experience. They had very friendly and helpful guys at rentals. Prices are also nice. And you can enjoy a stunning view on a lake which is quite unique. They have to build some restauraunts at the resort and expand the slopes to make it better. In a bad weather you need a place to get warm and relax a bit. For the beginners the slope may be difficult as it had icy areas on it at most steep parts.

The roade heading to the resort from Petrosani was in great condition especially when You reach the part that belongs to Vâlcea county. Plenty of parking, helpful staff everywhere, decent prices and amazing views

The most beautiful ski resort that I have ever been to 🎿 Amazing scenery! Good atmosphere. After skiing I recommend to eat cascaval pane (cheese croquets) 🔥

My experience here is a very pleasant one. There are places where to park your car, really close to the resort. The prices for renting snowboards and skiis are really affordable. Ranging from 50 lei for boots and boards. What's a bit on the more expensive side is if you want to get a day pass or something on the sort. Me and a few others just got one ride up for 60lei. Once you have gone with up with the gondola/ski lift, things get really nice fast. There are bathrooms and little shops with wine and food. From there, you can go even higher by gondola or by a rope tow ski lift. There are a lot of employees at every mark making sure everything is OK, especially with kids. There are also a lot of dogs that are really adorable and add to the rustic charm of the place. Food wise, there are many options at the bottom of the resort, ranging from soups and meats to all sorts of fried things. Some of them are a bit more pricey, yet you can still enjoy a meal for 20lei. Overall, it's a really nice experience.

Great place for both skiing and snowboarding! It's not so crowded and the ski track is wider than most of the other ski resorts. I highly recommend going here at least once when there's enough snow throughout all the ski resorts, in order to benefit from the full experience. If the snow quantity and quality is lacking overall, you'll still get a nice experience here, especially in the first hours after the opening.

A good place to sky. Take care that big slop is not easy to sky but is long and its an adventure. Now is also a restroom on top, drink a coofe to the apres sky.

Our experience here was very positive, we had a great time, on a ski slope with perhaps the most beautiful view in Romania, the lifts are very new, there is also free parking if you get there in time. The Voineasa half of the road is very good, while the Petrosani half is in poor condition and requires adequate attention. The infrastructure of the skiresort is not the most developed, there is mud in many places in the parking lot. All in all, I recommend it with a calm heart.

Nice little resort for locals and mid week visit but weekes get too busy not much parking and not much of a food and drink choice Most slops closed due to lack of snow, I would say it's a place for biggners due to the size of slops so we'll worth a visit for beginners

I like this place simply because there are no accommodations and the people coming here are more mountain oriented. The view is simply amazing, probably the most amazing view in any ski resort in Romania.

The slopes were a bit icey but good overall. Small wait time at the gondola but not the same story once you get up on the mountain. Could improve more for people going only for a few hours - as for now almost everything is paid/day.

Beautiful experience as always! Week days are best, not many people on the ski slope. The scenery is breathtaking any time!

The slopes are pretty well groomed. It's nice that you have a gondola, but it can become boring pretty quick because you don't have too many slopes. I think itvs designed more for advanced skiers and snowboarders. If you want to learn the blue slope on the top is your only choice, but that isn't that long and it's a teleski, so not that great :)

One of the best slopes in the country, the only problem is the fact that you don't have enough places to stay nearby if you want to spend the night.

Amazing ski resort! Best ski slope in Romania! Good parking place.

This is not a ski resort to go to if you’re a beginner, and especially not if you’re one with a snowboard !! Pros: - the view - the gondola - you don’t really have to wait in line at the gondola - the ski run is pretty long (for Romania) Cons: - the staff - I was not allowed to ride the sky lift because I was a beginner with a snowboard - the man working there was under the influence and was not wearing a mask - the line for the sky lift was pretty long

I gave it 5 stars because I enjoyed it a lot. Me and the kids. Even if everything is closed now due to COVID. Even if it tends to get really difficult getting there when the traffic is higher. So, I recommend going there early in the morning or book some accommodation near the area.

Great for views and with the new slopes even better but only 4 stars for the lack of proper accommodations nearby or places where to eat inside and lack of proper food while on the slopes.

Great place with 1 big slope, and 2 smaller slopes. It looks like Austria if good weather and sunny. Last weekend it wasn't that busy. Great place A bad bobby told me that i am not allowed to play with small car on the side of the slope because i can !headshot! people on slope!!! 3 people get angry on him and they say he is stupid!

👍👍 An extraordinary beautiful landscape. The road presents portions that can only be done in good weather, especially the descent in the Galcescu heat. Access from the Transalpine, 500m north of Urdele pass is a parking lot for about 6-10 cars. The journey time is 2-2.5 hours per direction.
