Take the dirt road from the main one and follow the sign that says parking for the waterfall. Then you walk one hour over rivers, between rocks and at the end a climb on the edge of the forest. The waterfall is fantastic!

Look for the sign at the end of the bridge and follow the trail up, past the villa to an area where you can park near where the wood is cut. Now you follow the stream up hill, criss crossing the stream as you make your way, there are little red dots on the rocks and trees to guide you. About half way you divert from the stream and continue climbing. Eventually you will reach the waterfall after 1.5km and 300m climb. We'll worth the effort.

Nice waterfall in the heart of the mountain. It's a delight when it's frozen in the winter but beware of the snowy and frozen path which leads to it-the trip to the waterfall takes about an hour and the ice fall is climbable in the winter time.

We did not really reach the location, the drive up the forestier road with a saloon car was exciting, the climb by the river was a wander full exploration, we were not really ready for the climb with no preparation and a 6 year old child. The sky was giving signs of heavy rains that indeed came not long after we decided to head back to the car.

One of the nicest waterfalls in the country. There is a 1.5 km steep hike to the base of the waterfall but is worth the effort.

The road is not all that bad. Any car can drive over, just take it slow. We drove our camper-van all the way to the ticket booth(which was closed in May). The cascade is really beautiful and worth the trip.

Amazing views, great walk, beautiful surroundings and spectacular forest, easy access with a very good cuisine. You won't regret letting images do the talking for you. ❤️

A spectacular waterfall at the end of a 45 min walk of low to medium difficulty. The walk contains some steep areas, but not climber experience is necessary, just decent boots with that would not slip on wet rocks.

After a one hour long climb through an dried out river bed (best to be avoided if rain is predicted as it could easily flood) and after some very narrow paths with steep raveens on one side we ended up in a very beautiful area where the whole ordeal made sense. Great care must be taken on the path as it is full of poison ivy in some places.

Very nice landscape. Access in winter not easy, I recommend to take with you very good and waterproof shoes. A nice companies from dogs will show you the way. Take some food for them!

This is really a great place to go. The road till there it is thru the valley of the river mainly. It takes about an hour to go up by walking really slow and stopping for pictures or to eat raspberry. We started to climb at 9 AM and we stayed there for a couple hours. The view over the cascade, air and the sound of the falling water it is relaxing. I would recommend this trip for the summer period when the water levels in the river valley it is not high.

Worth the climbing. Ticket was 5 lei or 10 lei per persona, meaning arround 1 euro. Nice view, cand dive a little, fresh drinkable water up.
