Interesting place with lots of old and some that are not that old romanian made cars. It offers a view into the past of the Romanian auto industry and all the potential that could have been. No entrance fee but donations are encouraged as this is a private run place.

Summary: This is a private museum made by a Macedonian - Nicu Hagi - and it hosts a variety of rare, custom made and donated romanian vehicles from the last 70-80 years, such as: Dacia, Oltcit, ARO, IMS. It's a place for all ages, but too bad that some of the older cars are way overdegraded / rusty. The museum is opened everyday, from 10:00-18:00. Getting there and facilities: From Bucharest, it takes about 2 hours and 15mins to get to the museum. There is a parking spot on the premises, right inside the courtyard where the car collection is. There aren't any shops around to buy something to drink, eat or for souvenirs. Nearest gas station for gas and bathroom is about 30km before getting there. What to see: The tour starts from the outside, by going over the exposed cars, towards the inside museum building. Inside you'll see various small replicas, engines, school graduates from the technical school of Câmpulung, generations of people from the factory of either Dacia/ARO, paintings, communism era media. The museum also has a big conference room where it hosts local cultural events. Extra: There isn't any fee here, the guide told us that only money donations are accepted. A very well organised private museum, with a comprehensive history of Romania's automotive production history. The guide is very well prepared both on automotive and local history topics. The toilets are in good condition and extremely clean. The museum is fully accessible for visitors with walking disability or on wheelchairs. I will definitely return.

The museum is privately owned collection and consists of a reasonable number of Romanian automobiles. The caretaker took us for a walk around the car lineup and told us the history of the models in general as well as the ones on display in particular, how they were obtained, restored, etc. Overall a nice experience, the tour took about 1h. You can probably walk around without the guided tour if you don't speak Romanian, and just enjoy the cars on display. I may be wrong, but I don't think there's an English tour version. Manage your expectations well and it's a very pleasant experience.

For the automobile enthusiasts and for those who want to know the history of the cars and motorcycles built in Romania during the communist regime this is the place to be. The owner of the place tries to keep most of the cars and motorcycles in running conditions. They accept donations there is not an entry fee.

An unique opportunity to dive into Romanian automotive industry and transportation related items (bicycles, sleighs, carriages). It’s definitely worth visiting since it has many items that are hard to find and they are conveniently gathered in one place, with some information available for context. There is a parking lot on site. Admission is free of charge but they accept donations. 2 photo booths in the theme of the museum. Very friendly custodian.

👍👍 I visited it last week. It was very quiet. It's been renovated recently and it looks wonderful even though there is no vegetation now. It is simple and perfect, a true architecture monument. If you are in Câmpulung , Negru Vodă is worth a visit.
