Sharing
my
experience
with
the
DMCH's
AOI
wing.
2
months
back
my
father
was
diagnosed
with
oral
cancer,
it
was
then
that
we
got
to
know
about
AOI
through
another
known
doctor.
He
recommended
Dr
Sumit
Gupta,
surgical
oncologist
for
head
and
neck
cancer.
He
is
one
of
the
best
surgeons
in
the
city.
He
supported
and
guided
us
through
out
the
course
of
the
treatment
with
great
compassion
and
care
and
maintaining
transparent
communication.
He's
easily
approachable
and
listens
to
the
problems
of
his
patients
with
utmost
patience.
As
the
treatment
is
still
going
on,
we
are
regularly
in
touch
with
him
and
he
is
guiding
us
further
with
the
precautions
we
need
to
take.
The
other
2
doctors
Dr
Sandhya
Sood
(for
radiation
treatment)
and
Dr
Davinder
Paul
(for
chemotherapy)
are
also
guiding
us
with
how
to
deal
with
the
side
effects
of
radiation
and
chemo.
In
general
the
hygiene
is
maintained
all
the
time
and
with
utmost
caution
during
the
Covid
situation.
The
building,
equipments
and
the
other
areas
of
the
building
are
sanitized
properly
and
staff
is
there
to
manage
and
guide
the
persons
visiting
the
hospital
to
maintain
proper
decorum
and
to
wear
the
mask
at
all
times
when
entering
the
building.
Proper
screening
is
being
done
before
anyone
enters
the
building
and
only
one
attendend
is
allowed
per
patient
which
is
important
to
avoid
the
spread
of
infection.
Overall
it
is
one
of
the
best
cancer
treatment
facility
in
the
city.
God
forbids
but
if
you
have
any
cancer
patient,
you
can
give
this
place
a
try
instead
of
going
to
Delhi
or
Mumbai
for
the
treatment.
The
doctors,
nurses,
admin
and
house
keeping
staff
are
all
very
helpful.
