What a fantastic day out on the Electric Railway to the top of Snaefell. Great cafe at the summit with a good selection of food and drinks. You can view England Ireland, Scotland and Wales from here.

Lovely place to visit when on the Isle of Man. You can either walk from the Bungalow which you can park at lower down or take the electric tram all the way up to the summit. You can take the electric tram from Douglas or Laxey. Lot's of history and beautiful views to take in. Bring a jacket even on a sunny day 😊

Clean, modern and welcoming with a good selection one quality of drinks and food. Apart from information on the mountain railway (in written, poster and video format), there are lots of decorative details which add value to this remote refreshment location.

Great way to get to SNAEFELL SUMMIT with mic info on way up & down. Windy at trig point but cafe lower and sheltered amazing views and nice hot and cold food step out to help getting on/ off train

Went in first time use Snaefell Electric Trams from Laxey Station to Snaefell Summit. I have tea with cheese and bacon turnovers. Unfortunately, the turnover is cold but needs hot. Nice room and very atmosphere. Have a box of games or toys for the children to avoid boring. Bowl of water on flood included for anyone who bring their dog who need drink.

Magnificent views from the cafe, with outside seating for eating in calmer weathers. Food served is on the fast food and starchy side to allow time between tram timetable. Nice and clean cafe attended by nice staff. Short walk to the summit.

Delicious home made food. We had a very tasty pea soup. The Honeycomb cake is amazing. Scones were beautifully light and fluffy. Thank you to the two ladies who served us and made us feel welcome. Prices very reasonably so save room for lunch.

Went up on the train and had some lunch. Good atmosphere and menu options. Strolled up to the summit trig point but didn't get a view.

Great electric train ride with commentary for things to look out for. Nice cafe at the top however the weather was not helpful and could not see far and hence mostly hazy pictures from the top

Lovely trip up in the Electric Train, with commentary. The cafe had lovely cakes and a nice cup of tea. Unfortunately the weather was awful so we could not see much at the summit.

Not a lot to see when you go up Snaefell, good views on a clear day!. Cafe can get really busy though. Good food, clean and friendly staff. Prices are quite reasonable.

Nice place, happy staff decent food. End of the tram line, great for bite and warm up drink.... im sure the views from up here would be amazing but when we went it was covered in rain cloud and very windy

After the long and tiring trip to the top of snaefell. Exhausted from sitting on the electric tram for forty minutes. It was time for a beer and a scone! It was delightful too! Can't fault the service and products available.

Excellent coffee, hot chocolate and cakes, delicious during 20 minute wait for return journey. Rest of menu looked good too.

Quiche was over cooked. Chips were cold was told they would fetch fresh ones out. Went back after 20 minutes only to be given cold chips again. Had to ask for cutlery changing as dirty . Latte synthetic couldn’t taste coffee . Lemon drizzle cake was good. All in all not impressed .

Friendly staff. Reasonable selection of hot and cold, food and drink. One thing that really stood out to me was the very odd decor. I'm sure I remember it back in the day, having B&W photos of historical TT riders, and Laxey miners - which makes sense. Now it's a very random selection of butterflies and plates on the walls, and odd vases 😕 Makes no sense in the context and could be so much more.

Great views from up here. Bit windy at time

Make sure you pick your day to go up! You dont want to go up the mountain on a wonderful vintage electric tram and not be able to enjoy the views. A must do if you visit the lsle of Man! The good and drink is quite expensive.

We were lucky on the day of our visit to the top of Snaefell as the views were excellent from Wales to Eire. The wind was gale force but well worth the effort. The restaurant was warm and welcoming with hot drinks and food.

Must see - both for the wonderful heather covered mountains in the way there as well as for the views when you arrive. Go by car or by rail. Either way, some of the loveliest views on the island

They obviously have a captive audience, and hadn't really bothered about the environment inside the cafe, when we arrived it was very fuggy and oppressive on a hot day. More ventilation would have improved the it. Usual fayre but staff were pleasant and service was good. Environment outside was great with fantastic view's of the island, if only the inside of the cafe could match it!
