One of the best Reubens we've had.

I had the Guiness burger and it was delicious, one of my brothers had the Agave burger and he said was one of the best he had, my daughter had the Minnesota Walley platter and said it was delicious. Also said be mindfull as me have a few bones. The service was absolutely great. We sat at a table outside to wait for some of our party to arrive and the server came out and started taking our drink order. Our intent was to go in and order since no one else was sitting outside. Again if you haven't stopped in highly recommend a visit. You won't regret going.

Downtown Anoka they is an amazing place called MaGillyCuddys! This is a fun place and the food is good. If your looking for a good place that serves fish you have to try the baked Walleye. It is so good. Stop in say hi to Rachel and she will get you feed and serve you a couple of drinks.

Do you want a sate fair atmosphere of people watching while sitting at an Irish dive bar? Good, because that's what you'll get here. Oh, and eat the food too, it's good.

Easily will be back! First time stopping in this small Irish joint. Food was really good! Minnesota fish and chips comes with seasoned walleye and fries. Prices are reasonable and the small atmosphere makes it a cozy spot.

We found this restaurant while searching local restaurants to try and it did not disappoint. This is a small little bar/restaurant in Anoka. The decor is fun and you know it’s going to be fun place when they have the lamp from A Christmas Story behind the bar. We were greeted immediately after choosing a table. We started out with Reuben rolls. These were fried to perfection with a great Reuben flavor with 1000 island dipping sauce. Great crunch and great flavor. We also tried Irish nachos. These are house made chips topped with cheese sauce, corn beef, bacon and diced tomatoes. These house made chips were amazing, fried to perfection so that the sauce didn’t make them soggy. That cheese sauce has so much flavor! We shared the Guinness Cheese Burger. This is an open faced burger on a sourdough bread topped with perfectly cooked fries topped with the most amazing Macgillycuddy cheese sauce. That cheese sauce is the show stopper. And of course we tried the fish and chips. Nice portion of fish with an amazing coating and crunch. Tartar sauce was good, just a normal tartar sauce. The fries that come with the meal are delicious with a good crunch. Not a plain fry. Overall great experience and an added must go back restaurant on our list.

If you are looking for a delicious burger (the Agave Burger is heaven) in a unique atmosphere, MaGillyCuddys is your place! Every time we've dined at MaGillyCuddys we've had delicious food, cold drinks and service with a smile. The owners and staff are always a joy to talk too, making this our go to place on any day of the week! It is a smaller establishment, so it does get busy on the weekend evenings - we like to get there earlier. Thanks for being such a highlight in Anoka, MaGillyCuddys!

The walleye was excellent. The sweet potato fries are definitely worth the $2 up charge. Also, the MaGillly sandwich was tasty with the layered corned beef. The main Street building was classic with the tin ceiling. Didn't get a receipt and beer seemed expensive A good selection of tap beers Background music was nice and place was busy. It was a good hangout pub.

This is one of the best bars downtown Anoka. They have a great atmosphere, fun events, and an amazing staff! I highly recommend the Ruben Rolls and a Gilly Grenade.

This place has probably one of the best reubens around and the Reuben egg rolls are to die for. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We don't go often but when we do I always wonder why we don't eat here more.

Six of us stopped by for dinner on a Friday night before a Christmas concert in Anoka. We had a variety of food including a Ruben sandwich, French dip, BLT, a hot honey shrimp dinner, fish sandwich, and I had a BBQ bacon burger - most came with fries and all were very good. I chose this place based on the good food reviews and that didn't disappoint, but I wasn't expecting such a small place! Good for them for taking a small corner of a building and doing so well - but in the end it's a bar, with cute decor but still a bar atmosphere. I'd come again and can definitely recommend it. Thanks guys for making room for us to sit together! (Harder than you think lol)

My husband and I have been coming here for weekly lunch dates for the past year. Jackie (owner) always serves us and it has been so cool to get to know her and support her business. Not to mention everything on the menu is AMAZING, which is one of the reasons we keep going back. 10/10 recommend MaGillyCuddys!!

A very nice place to go to for lunch. The waitress was friendly. It's nice going to a place where they remember want you like to drink & eat, especially when you don't go there a lot. You also get plenty of fries with your meal. Prices are very reasonable. My son & I enjoy eating here.

My favorites are the cuddie buddies, sweet potato fries, French onion soup when available and the Guinness. Always great service.

Went there for the first time in 5 years. The food was great, the service was fast, the waiter was polite, and amazingly with rising prices, everything was still affordable! If it wasn't on the other side of town, I'd go more often. Reuben rolls and the fried pickle sides were delicious as well!

Flawless dinner. Everything we ordered was superbly prepared. Desserts and appetizers were excellent as well. Not inexpensive, but a terrific place for a celebratory meal.

Nice bartender reminded me how to drink the gillygernade. Was good to go back after the height of the pandemic. She was cool and understanding. Thanks for reminding so I could show my grandma.

My husband and I stopped by while driving through town over Memorial Day weekend. Wow! We were so impressed! We split the Irish Dip and the Minnesota Fish and Chips. It was one of the best pieces of walleye I've ever had! Perfectly seasoned, so tender, and the pan frying was just right. Definitely recommend it! The fries are perfect too - go enjoy some for me!

Stopped here for my birthday, food was good, but the server ruined the experience. She was rude and had an attitude the entire time, no smiles, greetings, nothing. Her demeanor and voice did change to a friendlier tone after she saw that I left a tip. Do better.

Amazing as always. The reuben egg rolls are always DELICIOUS but this time they were a bit dry. They seemed to have more meat and less cheese this time. Probably just a fluke. The Reuben sandwich and fries was perfect! Just a great place all around..love it!

MaGillyCuddys is a great place to grab some good food and enjoy karaoke on Saturday nights. They have out door seating which is nice to sit at at enjoy the cute historic town views

Stopped in for the recommended fish and chips. They did not disappoint. Nice and crispy with flaky cod. Great fries, too.

It's good if you want an American bar. I went here for something Irish and was sorely disappointed. The only thing Irish about this place is it's name. It's not what I was looking for at all and I definitely wouldn't go back. That being said I can't speak to the rest of it. It definitely is one of those "not what it says on the tin" situations. If you're looking for a bar that has some burgers and such I'm sure you'll have a good time.

This bar is definitely my favorite bar in Anoka. The service here is amazing. Same workers for years. They do a darn good job. The prices for drinks 🍸 and food are very reasonable. Also the karaoke 🎤 is amazing. Neil and company do an Amazing show. Definitely will see me again.......

Really great food, super nice servers! Didn't have the chance to try drinks but I'm sure they are just as good as the food. Loved the Irish pub vibes, the decor is so cool!

Food was disappointing and the service was subpar. We asked for Bloody Marys And specified that we wanted them spicy but they didn’t have an Bloody Mary mix so they used Clamato which makes it a bloody Cesar and nothing was done to make it spicy. The server also clocked out (or appeared to as she sat at the bar and began drinking) without even saying anything to us. The saving grace is that the guy who took over did a good job and was very nice. Might go back to try something else but I was not impressed with the burger.
