I love the atmosphere and the restaurant set up is very nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the food wasn't great..we got our meals in less than 4 min of ordering - it appears to be homemade but not made to order. Its all precooked and kept in warmers like in a cafeteria. The meatloaf lacked flavor and was just not good...the mashed potatoes were decent. The bacon grilled cheese bread was tough. So..we won't be revisiting.

Food is fantastic and tastes like home cooking. Staff is really friendly. You get your food really quick. The pot roast is my favorite. I've tried several things and it's all good. The restaurant is clean and spacious. You get a lot of food for the price. The pot roast is tender and they use the natural meat juices for their gravy. No bullion flavored gravy there. I've done both dine in and take out. Their Mac and Cheese is really good as is their fried potatoes.

Absolutely Amazing Home-Cooked Style Cuisine! The Pot Roast is magnificent! Chicken Pot Pie is Epic! The Meatloaf transported me straight back to my childhood Sunday Night Dinners! Dine-In Atmosphere is comfy and Take-Out travels really well! Don’t forget Dessert 🧁 they’re all Delicious!

In town for work and now wishing I'd be here longer as this place has been a real treat. Two days in a row I've had the chicken pot pie that has incredible flakey crust and delicious fillings. The green beans are a tad bland, but still good, spaghetti meatsauce is phenomenal, and the gumbo is delicious. Everything has that mom-n-pop feel too. I've seen a few other reviews here saying it's expensive, but for what you get I can't imagine saying that. 5 stars from me, thanks "Food A Fare"!

Food was beyond excellent I had the beef tips and mashed potatoes it was delicious and also had the shrimp chowder it was also really good the bread pudding you have to try it , also the place is big and clean I like the set up and the scenery

Today was my first time using Food A Fare, and it was really good. I got the special of chicken kabob with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. The kabob was so full of chicken it was hard to find the skewer, which is always a good thing. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. It was reasonably priced for the amount of food that I received.

The food is always delicious. Bravo, Chef Mike!! The atmosphere is so relaxed and homey. Just like the food. The adorable baby is an added bonus. Get the chicken pot pie or the pot roast! You can thank me later!

The pot roast taste just like how my grandma used to make it. Personally, I have never had one thing bad from here. I love that they have Ski soda. Homemade food in 5 minutes. Some may think that it is pricey but it is worth it. A Must Try!!

Great home cooked meal at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was clean and relaxed, owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the food was amazing. This is our new go-to restaurant! You will not be disappointed! The kids can even play board games when they are finished eating.

We have ordered to go and eaten in house several times and have loved everything we have had! You can tell this couple is putting their heart and sole into this business and we love supporting small businesses. The decor is cute and a great place for all ages and families to hang out, the prices are great and the food is amazing. The food is PERFECT comfort food, the atmosphere is so fun and family friendly and the owners are very sweet!! They have a ton of board games to play and interact with your kids, or even adult card games! Will 100% be taking the family back! We had the gumbo and beef tips... delicious, and the chocolate bread pudding was to die for. Can't wait to try everything else that looks so amazing too!

Tried Food A Fare last night for the first time. My Oh My, it was all delicious 😋 We had the Chicken Pot Pie & Italian Beef Sandwich. My side was the Sausage Gumbo and Dianna's was the carrots. I could have made a meal just on the Gumbo. If your like us and wanting something different, but good, try them out. Great husband & wife team is on top of it.

The steak kabob is so good. Caesar salad also very good and large portion. Such friendly service too.

Great little spot to get a hot meal for the cheap.. not to mention it’s like the only place ever with grilled cheese as a side dish ordered the gumbo and it was off the friggin chain. The owners are super nice as well nothing wrong with my meal at all but if there was I can be certain they would have made it right will for sure be back again

We keep going back! My son was disappointed at first that the buffet is only on Saturdays (we love it!) But everything was right with the world again when he tried the best EVER steak kabob and saw that his grilled cheese side was a "triple decker" lol. Best restaurant has a new name and it's "Food a Fare"

Absolutely fabulous home-cooked food. Super friendly owners, Uber cool space... Have not had a single non-delicious dish here. Chef is clearly skilled and has developed outstanding, flavorful dishes with that traditional comfort food feel. Chicken pot pie, grilled cheese, sliced turkey...everything is as you would fix it at home and tasty AF.

Loved everything about the brunch buffet! Everything on my plate was good. Biscuits were top notch. Friendly staff. They do have heavy chairs lol. Awesome place and would highly recommend!!

Came here for my birthday and had the most delicious lunch with my grandparents. We all loved everything we got, especially the bread pudding. Everyone was so kind and helpful while ordering. I have horrible anxiety and hate eating out anymore but this experience made me want to come back again and again.

Came in for dinner on Saturday night, the place is clean, has a welcoming, friendly environment. The food was fast and fantastic! Between the four of us we had the chicken pot pie, beef tops and the meatloaf. They were ALL so delicious! Down home, comfort food…….Filling for sure! And beyond the meals, try the desserts too! Yum!

This place is definitely worth trying. All the food is homemade & delicious. I've been here several times and enjoyed everything I've tried. The couple that own this place are so friendly & I love that they bring their beautiful baby to work with them. If I could give the place more than 5 stars I would.

I finally made it there for lunch last Friday. It is as good as everyone says! I had an Italian salad and the chicken pot pie. Both were served in very generous portions and were delicious. Two of my friends ordered the roasted chicken and mashed potatoes, which looked amazing as well. Another friend got the meatloaf with a grilled cheese (genius!). For real home cooking. Can't wait to go back.

I love a new sit down restaurant in our area, but this place was so disappointing. The meatloaf was bland, too expensive, and no ice or glasses for soda is a deal breaker for me. If you want to spend 16$ for a meal, take your money some where else.

I went in for the chicken pot pie and came out happy. It was very tasty and not heavy feeling. The crust was light and flakey. I had the mac and cheese for the side which was also good.

We read about Food A Fare chicken pot pie from the Advantage paper it's comfort food for sure. I Had chicken pot pie and it was extremely tasty and wonderful. Service was quick. Price very reasonable.

‘Real’ food, perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious, quality and quantity of the food for the price is unmatched in our area, served within a couple of minutes, spacious dining area - just all around excellent. And it’s that way every time - x6, so far.😊
