This is an amazing sand art museum. I personally met the Sand Artist Mr. Sudam, he is very nice man. His talent has been recognised by many Indian celebrities and Politicians. He is very versatile artist. He made art of all types like monuments, portrait, gods, movie characters and many more. Must visit this museum to witness this amazing sand art talent.

Had high hopes but the museum is actually a display of only 10-12 sand art done by the artist. The visit can be done in 5-10 minutes only. The place is located on the Puri Konark road and is actually the front area of a house Entry fee is 30. No option of online payment.. Rough behaviour of the staff Can be missed as there's not much to see...More of hype PLEASE DON'T CONFUSE THIS WITH SUDARSAN PATTNAIK SAND ARTIST

Sudam Sand Art Museum is a fantastic place to enjoy the captivating sculptures created out of sand by the finest of artists out there. Traditionally, Puri is the international hub of Sand Art and this place justifies that. This place is very unique and presents the sculptures in their respective galleries. A must visit place if you love art and history. The finest pieces of work by the renowned Sand Artist Mr. Sudam are displayed here in full glory. Sand Artists have the skill to present anything and everything on the sand and because of this, general public get aware about various socio-economic, political and environmental issues that persist in India. Apart from being beautiful artistic pieces, sand art sculptures impart value to the society, spread awareness and mobilize the public towards a good cause. The ticket price is Rs. 30 per person.

A great place for those people who want to gain more knowledge about our state's history, geography, culture and many more. Museum was totally clean and well maintained by the staffs and everyone is strictly maintaining the Covid-19 guidelines. There is a beautiful lawn with lots of colourful flowers and a big water fountain which is the center of attraction of all viewers.. Come to the place during the afternoon cause that time it's less crowded..

A NICE SAND ART MUSEUM LOCATED FEW KM FROM PURI CITY ON PURI KONARAK MARINE DRIVE ROAD. IF YOU ARE VISITING TO KONARAK TEMPLE THEN IT SHOULD BE IN YOUR VISITING LIST. IT IS A 10 15 MIN STOP WHILE GOING TO KONARAK TEMPLE. EXCELLENT PLACE TO BRING YOUNG KIDS TO SHOW THE SAND ART. ENTRY FEE IS 30/- RUPEES PER HEAD BUT TRUST ME IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. THEY ARE MAINTAINING THE PROPER HYGIENE IN THIS COVID PERIOD. THERE IS ALSO PROPER PARKING PLACE IN FRONT OF THE GATE. THE SCULPTURE ARE CHANGING EVERY WEEK.

Sudam Sand Museum, also known as the Sudam World Sand Sculpture Museum, is a popular tourist attraction located in puri. Visitors can admire the impressive sand sculptures, which often depict famous landmarks, historical events, or mythical creatures. The intricate details and large-scale nature of the sculptures make for a unique and visually stunning experience. The Sudam Sand Museum is considered one of the largest sand sculpture museums in the world.

It is not a museum but a workshop for sculptures. You can witness people making beautiful art pieces from different materials like wood stone or brass. Small shop within the compound offers few of those artifacts and are very reasonably priced.

A nice place to go on an weekend with kids, a great place to learn n show the kids new interesting facts. The small play area and the garden in center are very good and so is the landscaping. The design is good but is not maintained as properly as they should. We did our case study on this museum so had to go through all parts of it. Though from an Architect's point of view could be better cause most part is not finished and construction is still going on. But overally a nice place❤️

Great place to learn about Odisha and the people of Odisha.Awesome galleries, innovative way of portraying the monuments. I am astonished the way they keep in every park in Odisha. Every park has a kids play area and even in Odisha state museum is also not an exception.I really like it. Museum also has a fountain ⛲️ where kids really enjoy. It is a very huge museum takes a day to completely visit. Parking is rs.5/- and entry cost is 20 per adult . For children below 10 years it is free but 10- 15 years it is rs.10/-

This museum has a massive collection of ancient sculptures and specimens. If someone has an attraction towards arts, science, nature and environment then this is a must visit place for sure. Everyone is allowed to take pictures after paying the requisite fees. You will find each and every moment of human evolution here from stone age to modern age. You must spend at least 3 hours here to have a brief idea about the contents. As my personal experience this place is excellent 😍😍😍

Puri has become the go to destination for sand art in India and that makes visiting the sand art museums a must. Sudam sand art museum is located very close to Puri on the Puri Konark route. The entry fees is very nominal around 30 Rs. There are around 10 sand art exhibits covering various themes and topics. When I visited there were two exhibits one with King Kong and the other one with Hulk which stood out amongst the other arts. Overall a must go place while in Puri and it will at best take 10 minutes to cover all the exhibits. There is a lot of scope to improve the museum further.

There is a beautiful garden in the middle which is beautiful from 1st floor. The entrance fees is very low 20₹ person. I m glad they have parking space for 2& 4 wheeler. You are allowed to take photos inside but with a fees. Take care.

The genesis of the Odisha State Museum goes back to the year 1932, when two notable historians Prof. N. C Banerjee & Prof. Ghanshyam Dash of Ravenshaw College, Cuttack started collection of archaeological treasures from various places. The small museum was then housed within the premises of the College. In 1938, by a suitable order, the Government of Odisha transformed this nucleus into the Provincial museum of Odisha. Maintaining close contact with the general public and the Archaeological Department of the Government of India and other States, the Museum continued to grow. In order to popularize the cultural exhibits of the Museum, leaflets printed both in Odia and English were published in the Samaj and the New Odisha and copies of the same were sent to officials and the public to create a sense of awareness about the significance of the Museum. As a result of this publicity, students and the general public started visiting the Museum in large numbers. The teachers of the History Department made sustained efforts to explain to them the cultural value of the Museum and its exhibits.

This sand art museum is by world famous sand art artist Mr. Sudarshan Pattnayak. It is very near to Puri beach. If you little spare time, you must visit place. Auto may take 200 to 250 rupees from Puri beach. He made various sculptures and showcased here. Good to see this for round the year as you won't always find this on open beach space. I will recomend if you like art work.

Not a good place to visit. Not much to see, just a few sand arts. Merely a 5 min visit but the ticket price is high for that (30rs per person)

The art is great, but it's not mesmerizing if it's not below an open blue sky. It's okay to stop at this place if you are en route somewhere else. But not to worth specifically visiting this place.

Only 10 to 12 sand statues are there. It seems costly to me as entry fee is 30 Rs per head. Still it's a very beautiful place for the people who love art. Anybody can enjoy thoroughly.

Sand art was great but 30rs I think was too much you can see 9-12 sand art. 10/10 for the art but 3/10 for fee. (I feel like 30rs wasn't worth it)
