This restaurant deserves review in minus . Let see why this restaurant deserves review in minus. Ambience- It looks good from highway but the ambience is worst because it's still underconstrurction. Staff - Very rude staff , Very bad service . First they will suggest you some drinks at the end they will not bring it but it will be included in bill . So please check properly the bill before giving the payment. It's not a family Restaurant- Everywhere you can seen people are drinking. So I strongly not recommending for families. Food and test - The test is zero , literally they do not know how to cook. Also tye quality of food I worst . Apart from this you will get a irritating loud music and after many requests they will not off the same.

The Mehta Dhaba has large property occupied for restaurant and kids entertainment. The view of garden and drive way inside the premises are marvelous. But, the ambience of the restaurant needs improvement. It is a little darker inside and feels suffocating if the hall is full of guests. If we talk about food, I would rate it 2 stars. To some extent chinese foods taste good but main courses such as daal & tandoor roti need improvement in taste and quality as well. The service of the restaurant is good but mismanagement happens when it is about to serve all the tables at the same time in the dining hall.

DETAILED REVIEW:Only good for open seating, that's it nothing else , Ambience on the inside is just like a normal room.They have made a huge resort and to run that, the prices on the menu are high. Some of the food was bland , some didn't taste good. Service was bad , behaviour of the waiter was bad. The waiters are lost in there own world and dont care about what customers say We were 7 people and we asked to join 2 tables and he said it cant be done we need to sit on 2 separate tables. Then we had ordered 7 naan But when the waiter bought the naan There were only 4 naan , when we told this to him He completely denied, he himself served us those naan few mins ago and he forgot about it. And after that he started behaving rudely and he wasn't in the mood to listen to us. Later he went to the kitchen realised his mistake and apologized.In the parking they have clearly written PARKING AT OWNERS RISK , but when you leave the guard will shamelessly come and ask for money , on top of that if you offer 10-20₹ he wont accept that nor let you leave. Prices on the menu are like that of some expensive restuarants that are situated inside Ranchi city. If you want to sit in the open Have only alcohol or smoke hookah You shoud definitely visit it You wont be disappointed But if you go there for food , you will be heavily disappointed. I have visited twice , 2nd time was my worst experience , that's when i decided to write this review. I am never gonna come to this place anymore

Place was good with relaxing atmosphere. No professionalism, drink menu no clarity on drink price, when it’s come to final billing beer price was very high more than star hotels in state. Food was really good,fresh,tasty. Perfectly cooked chicken is among the dishes to be ordered at Mehta. A number of guests think that the staff is cheerful at this place. The good service is a big advantage of this place. Mehta Open Air Restaurant: Come for an enjoyable Tandoori meal under the sky at the Mehta Open Air Restaurant. A simple place with no frills, the best part about Mehta is the outdoor seating. Of the several cuisines they offer, the Tandoori is a safe bet. Its a nice place for a simple meal, especially when you dont want to spend too much money. If you find yourself with nothing to do, hop on your motorcycle, drive your car or ride your broom and head over to Mehta! Whether its good food or friendly conversation you're looking for, you can find it all at Mehta.

Atmosphere is Amazing. It is located at a very beautiful location. Food was not upto the mark. Taste was not good. Price is very high. Even the waiters are demanding high tip, which is sad to watch. They need some training and need to know how to behave in front of customers.

Absolutely loved this place. I have a suggestion like speed breaker of the front gate is little high because of which cars with low ground clearance will get touched so it should get fixed. But overall the place is good for almost everything.

Worst behavior by the hotel managers and waiters. I visited the place on 19 September and saw two teenagers drunk and I guess its punishable offense to serve alcohol to minors. Overall it was a bad experience and had to leave before we could eat as its not a place you could go for a decent meal. Family visit is a big no and with friends untill you have a group of uncontrolled drunkards it's a big no.

I was really surprised by the Ambiance of it.nice open place..Had good food and services. In the winter they charge 200 for fire and truly it's good. Nice music and service is really appreciated.

Paneer is stale, veg Manchuria taste like aata. All the food has some kids of burnt taste, I feel like they are using already deep fried oil . Service is third class. The least any one can expect. Ordered for paneer butter masala a piece of fish with bone was found. Not at all recommended for anyone especially vegitarians.

We ordered Veg Hakka Noodles, the food taste was very bad. Salt and Ajinomoto was very high. When we complained, a captain came and did not behave properly. Third class food taste and inexperienced Cook with a mannerless captain.

The food tasted very poor. Service of mehta bar and resorts was very bad. After the order, you have to wait many times. We ordered chicken and roti, they first served chicken after finishing the chicken, they served roti. We have asked for salt after ending the Lunch they gave us Salt. We were disappointed with the food taste and the service. But the environment, location, ambience, close to nature, kid's activities are attraction points here.

Good play area for the kids. Food was not upto the mark and the service was too slow. Dehati Chicken, Dal Makhani , Chicken Chilly, Kebabs were just tasteless. Food preparation and presentation could have been way better. They even charge you for firepit they put outside, I guess 350 rs.

The quality of the seat is worst and broke accidentally while having dinner and the manager charged us 1000 rupees extra in the bill without our consent and later misbehaved stating that we have to pay the amount under any circumstances... after much discussions , the aftermath come with 300 rupees which he took and he did not add in exact bill , thus the money is directly going to the managers pocket..so he is the culprit and the thief manager of Mehta ormanjhi ...Please beware with him.

The waiting lobby is great with sofas and TV. service is great and location is quite good. The parking is full almost everytime you visit.

Mehta was a great experience. Didn't expect this type of hotel in Ranchi. The staffs take full social distancing measures and are very polite :)

It's a great place for weekend/evening getaway from Ranchi and can be appreciated with friends or family. There is scope for improvement in terms of both maintenance and food quality but nevertheless it's still above average and I'd definitely visit again.

Biggest trash of the hazaribag road, Worst waiters and management . Mehta's waiters and management's attitude towards the customers is as if they are paying the customers for coming to their restaurant, firstly all the seating spaces stink worse then desi theka and after that we found a less stinking place but just because management wanted us to sit in some other stinking place for the reason not disclosed to us, instead of telling us politely the proudy and abusive management abused us to either change the table or to leave

The resort is under construction, but yet serving their best in family and bar sections. Rides are also their for kids. Night view is amazing and photogenic.

Great place if you want to chill and grab a beer away from the crowd and noise. It is a good alternative of Madhuban dhaba. They also have bar that has good music and place to dance. The food was average and alcohol collection was not up to expectation. They were short staffed and most of items were not available. Still a good place outside the city.

Found it to be a one timer (very dissapointed). A bar on the NH thats as per transport norms. Loud music frequented by young adults. Swings for children to play around. Everything looks good but the only problem is food, food quality and way too expensive for the services that they offer. Vegetarian food was ordered paneer and mushroom both tasted stale. Its a one time visit for me, chances are grim that I may go there again. Wish they could improve on their food quality.

The music was too loud and they were not lowering the volume. According to them review doesn't matter n they have no concern if you are leaving the place. Every other table was complaining about the music still they don't even bother.

Location is awesome. A great space for occasional get together in evening. The lawn dining space has pleasant breeze in evening. Music is loud and good for dance. Food quality is good. Nice experience with mehta hotel , hv small park to enjoy with kids and family. Non veg items are eagerly served and wine option, the same features as in all line hotel. The difference is , they provide small garden area for kids to play with jhulla.

Ambience and music is great. They need to work on their food. Chicken 65 and chicken dry fry tasted similar, and Chilli garlic noodles were so spicy, most of us couldn't finish. But portion size were good. Chakhna mutton is so good of this place, do try.

Everything is superb. One thing which need some improvement is their staff looking for the tip, whether it is the dining area or the parking area. As I am regular visitor of Mehta Bar, last time guard at parking area asked me for the tip and said that I took care of your car. That time I was not having change also. As the parking is provided by the Mehta bar, this behaviour of guard should be taken care of by the restaurant management.

Pathetic food n service, one starter takes minimum 45 mins to come. The chicken lehsuni had blood in it, not clean and hygienic! Even the finger bowl came after 1 hour. DO NOT VISIT UNDER ANY INFLUENCE!!
