If I am not wrong this was the first restaurant which was opened in Ranchi. And till now they have maintained there standard. All the 90's kid from Ranchi will relate to this that the restaurant has a nostalgic ambience and feeling. The staffs are very polite and humble. The food is undoubtedly the best veg food in the city. Must try for everyone.

Food was delicious no issue with that. I visited the place on Sunday and the place was completely filled. Since I was two so luckily got the vacant place otherwise groups were waiting since long for a vacant place. The interior is very good. However the place is small and somewhat congested.

It was a 5 star and will always be. There is absolutely nothing you can point out as a shortcoming. It's legendary. A complete family place with lip smacking taste of each item in the menu. Great service, packed seating yet so comfy. Location obviously is know by Kaveri itself.

A very good place for lunch and full time meal. This place is generally very crowded. We have ordered kaju curry, kadhai paneer, butter naan and masala kulcha. All of them tastes really good. Kadhai paneer was spicy and kaju curry was creamy. Both were must try. Price was average, but breads price were high. Overall, a good place to dine in .

This is a classic restaurant of the city. Has got huge fan following in the city since it is restaurant that has been serving Ranchities for ages now. A definite trial place if you’re new to city. It’s a very basic restaurant with good variety of food spread. Must try from the place will be their chow mein which is rich in veggies and super thin noodles. Another nice add on with the chow mein can be mushroom manchurian and baby corn chili. The soup here too is very nice ( serves the purpose in winters definitely) Pictures include chow mein, baby corn chili, mushroom manchurian, soya malai chaap, man chow soup.

I had gone there again during last year Christmas and I knew it would be memorable! I went for 2 days. First day I ate Thali which was Extraordinary!!!! The 2nd day I ate Tomato soup. Also ate Dehraduni rice and Paneer Bhuna. I Loved the rice but the paneer was a bit too spicy and heavy for the stomach. But still it was delicious. And after hearing so much praise about this place when I visited Ranchi I made a point to eat here once.📝 Situated on MG road it is crowded on most of the days and waiting here is normal practice. Although I am not a big fan of waiting in line for food I still recommend to hold patience while visiting.🕰️ The food here is very comforting, good quality, great taste and sufficient in quantity.✨ Place has room to accomodate large number of customers and service is fairly quick. Waiters are really well skilled, they will make sure you are served in best manner.🧑‍💼 Talking about dishes I tried, one mix vegetable sabji (name I am unable to recollect) it was really upto the mark. This is an excellent and one of the best veg restaurant of ranchi and also very old . The food quality here is very good and service here is also very fast . There is huge range of foods and also at a very cheap price. This restaurant is purely veg with good ambience and good food taste . The only problem with this place is this is very crowdy and this place has always wait line and we need to wait for atleast 15 mins specially during lunch and min 30 mins in night if u plan for dinner.

Best balance of quality and price in town. Sure, there are restaurants which are really stylish or may serve some tastier dishes. I like the fact that it's affordable to dine here considering that This places is huge, we've got like 25+ tables for a group of 4 and it looks fancy. There was a queue when we came at ~9 pm But the waiting time is nominal as it took like 3-4 mins for us to get a seat. The ambience is good, it felt like good old established restaurant. Nice clean, spacious even though the room was packed with people, The washrooms as clean and well maintained. They change the table cloths with each new guests arriving to dine, they also ask you whether you want regular or packaged water( this is becoming rare these days as most restaurants these days don't provide you normal water and a glass by default) The Menu made me feel that It'd take atleast a year for me to try each and every dish here. It was so vast almost 200+ things you can order here. Finally coming towards the main star of the show the food: They give you Sirke wale pyaaz and Achar by default. We ordered Masala Kulcha, Paneer Paratha These where decent in taste not too fancy , we paired it with paneer mushroom masala, which was adequately spiced, not too hot, which were good with the kulchas especially. I personally preferred the kulcha over the Paratha. Next we ordered 2 Veg Biryani(me being a nonveg eater find it hard to comprehend) Which included Biryani with veggies and paneer, a small bowl of mix veg and yoghurt Raita which was slightly sweet. The combo was really great. We were unable to finish up the second biryani so we requested them to pack it. At the end we got the hot finger bows to clean our fingers. The billing experience was decent, it took almost 5 mins (considering the rush) The staff were responsible and polite. Overall it was a Nice experience, I'd like to visit it numerous times in the future.

it's quite 1.3km away from Ranchi railway station. I was looking for veg restaurant and got to know this famous Veg restaurant. I tried veg thali. As on 30th may 2023 the thali costed me around Rs250. And it's more than enough. Along with my thali i had a opportunity to see other's plate too 😜 and trust me all were happy with the food. So i can say that everybody there liking their food. Apart from the item you see in my attached photo there would be rice papad and gulab jamun too... So it's a complete meal.
