This place exist just beneath the Rock Garden park Ranchi which is quite a beautiful place to visit in the evening, sitting in the stairs beside the dam and have a sip of tea, feeling the cool breeze that flows towards you and watching the sunset make you feel relax and cozy. This place have a small parking area and some stuff that Kids could also enjoy and have some fun time. In some occasions some shows are also perform here and the entry charge is Rs. 10 per head.

This place is one of most relaxing and marvellous in scenic points of Ranchi. I experienced this place on 13th of nov 2022. It has proper entry gate but mostly the main gate is closed to avoid entry of vehicles inside this. A small gate is opened to take a free of cost entry at this place. This Mountain is situated near the tagore hill or bariatu region. You can access this place through both ways. It has sitting chairs, walking path and the whole Mountain is surrounded by a boundary which is under the forest department officials . Upper scenic view is awesome. There is no words to describe this place in words. Just experienced a very high quality time here. One shop is available there but it only opens in the morning and evening time. Bring your own stuffs. Avoid climbing this place in rainy season because of slippery rocks and less visibility of actual paths. Excavations are also going on so try to be safe yourself while roaming around the place. Overall good and satisfying experienced. Best for hikers and adventurous people.

Great place to just unwind and relax. It's not toally out of the city. But you feel like you are away from it.

I just love this place. It is not just a tourist place but a place of peace, a place of real beauty of nature, a place of pure air. People can use this place in two ways. But if you have a true and pure soul, you will actually learn the real meaning of life here. Whenever you come Ranchi, must visit this place. The whole Ranchi city can be seen from its top hill. Also be careful while climbing the rocks, it has Steep slopes. So, don't take risks. Otherwise it is a wonderful place.

Quite good. I started climbing around 4:30 pm and after 10 minutes I was on top. You have to find your own way. A small pick with lots of challenges makes it attractive. Generally you would be used to getting stairs to climb but there was no such thing. Must go before going at a long mountain tracking. You can say it like a warm up.

A good view of sunrise and sunset. I could see some tourism based development is ongoing here. Good place to get some awesome photos. Not a 'good for family' zone I think. Could see a lot of broken alcohol bottles and wastes dumped. First of the people visiting such places should encourage themselves to not put plastic wastes there for sake of protecting the nature. It's your own pace guys. Why you want to destroy it.

Well, I visited this place two months ago and it has been my best visit and merry memory of 2021, If you look for peace in places instead of people then you should go here at least for once, take out 4-5 hours of your regular routine and just sit there watching either sunset or sunrise. You'll realise a lot, keep your loved ones with you and don't forget to carry food and water bottles with you. P. S. please don't throw garbage anywhere, dispose it in Dustbin and keep the place clean, as new year is approaching, that place would be expecting a lot of people so it's a humble request. One small step can save a lot!

Its a beautiful place with some of the most beautiful views. A must visit if ur a nature lover. There's a little bit of a trekking involved but its totally worth it if you wanna enjoy the view. Also the trek is not that dangerous its a little steep at places but i managed to reach there with a fractured and plastered hand. So hope u go for it. Tc have fun
