Its adjoining areas are hub of commercial activities, the market just infront of temple is famous for bag and chain repairs, can virtually repair any kind of equipment with chain, u will be surprised of the down to earth prices they charge. The mandir area has fair mix of Hindus and Muslim living in harmony since ages.

It is my childhood love. I find peace here . It's now little crowded at Aarti time. But still peaceful at the start of Church road which is too much crowded.

This temple is very old and it is very religious for people who lives in ranchi. Kali maa Statue is present inaide the temple which is quife easily visible. .panditji does puja for everyone.people make two different lines for darahan.outside the temple ao many small shops are present .you can take prasad and give it to panditji they will do the puja for u and they return your prasad. Khoya peda is very famous there as a prasad. for doing puja pansitji don't ask any exatra money from you.. U can give money according to your will..temple is very neat and clean.there will be more rush on Tuesday and sate. its a peaceful place to go. I go to this temple on every Tuesday.

Morning aarti starts around 7 AM daily for about 30 minutes and after that only you can offer your puja thali. It's a small but famous temple on the main road, Ranchi. There is no parking space in front of the temple. Either you will have to park in the "daily market" Paid parking ( which is always full) or near the Firayalal which is about 0.5 KM from the temple. It was a good experience.
