Not well maintained.....Park is in construction period....overall morning and evening view is very good . Very Mesmerizing view.

A good option for beautiful evenings, nearby Ranchi City. Do not miss the sunset here. Good for walk, chilling with friends, and family. Very relaxing place. This can become your regular adda. So must visit here once in the evening. There are food stalls at the end of dam road. You can use 2 wheeler or four-wheeler to reach here.

Beautiful dam with lot of water and the water is clean and mostly transparent upto 1ft. A single road is laying one side of the dam. More people visit this dam for better breathing. It is very near to JSCA stadium Ranchi.

Beautiful spot for a family picnic specially during winters, also an evening walk during summers is a treat to have. You can walk you dog on the picturesque road, while enjoying the misty breeze coming from the reservoir.

Its not a park its a ruin.. If authority pay attention on that then i m dam sure it become nic place for picnic spot..

The place is good as far as the scenery is concerned but I am sadly disheartened the way the Jharkhand Govt has neglected its tourism practices. The dam can be well maintained by attracting tourism provided it's done in the right way. Apart from that, it's a must visit for the serene atmosphere the place offers.

Dam is nice, Stones are placed on side of the dam. You can easily go-to inside half metre to click the photos. But there were not a single tree who gives you shadow. Area is cleaned😊😊

This dam was completely constructed in 70s to cater the needs of HEC and its township. After formation of Jharkhand it is one of the largest water body. At present it is havi g 28 feet of water. Maximum heith is 40 (marked). 41-42 unmarked. If you are down, visit this place, it will give you a pleasant time and vibe. Always avoid going to this area after sunset (Not advisable due to safety reasons).
