Rooms are good but the room service is pathetic. The team can't even remember orders from customer. Food is not upto the mark but quite costly. Housekeeping is ok. Not recommended for continuous stay

Tata sky in our room 501 was not working, air conditioner is not cooling proper. After many reminders the problem was not solved. Reception guy Bobby Kumar can be more responsive to customer service. Safe place with good options nearby.

Located about half a kilometre away from Ranchi station, it is the perfect place to choose for lodging. Rooms are spacious and well maintained with vented air conditioning, wooden flooring, good view and all the necessary amenities. Bathrooms are very clean and well maintained as well. Room service is quick and regular. The food gets a big thumbs up for both quality and quantity. Breakfast buffet is a must try. Hotel staff is very courteous and polite. Best thing about the hotel is that it is situated right on the main road with all the best eateries around. Price of room and food is very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

The location of this place is great and I guess that's why it's price is so high as I didn't find the hotel itself that special. The rooms were fine. The bathroom condition can be improved a lot. The good thing about this place is that nearby there are a lot of good restaurants and it has a big parking space.

The maplewoof hotel is very good for indoor ring ceremonies and small events with refuced guests to 200. The rooms were par excellence.And every staff at the hotel was sincere and strict about covid 19 protocols.

To start with the staff reception staff: is extremely helpful and polite, they'll help you with whatever is possible for them. Room service: these guys are awesome, they are quick and efficient in their work. In premises restaurant: well not the best, service is slow, food is average. If you opt for breakfast inclusive package you will have options but not the fullfilling experience. Although, the food is decent considering the city is not a metro and hotel is below 4 star. Location: You'll find many great food options around from pizzahut to KFC, bakeries, cake shops, ice cream parlour etc. But what you will not get is good quality street food nearby. Connectivity is decent as the hotel is at walking distance from Railway station and within 7km of airport. Getting Ola uber is also easy around here. Rooms: Decently big enough comparing to the price we paid. The only problem was our room was having one closer window that too with blurred tint making it too dull and boring. It was frustrating to not be able to see out of the window because we were staying for around 5 days. Another issue here is you don't get hot water apart from a few hours in morning, this makes no sense whatsoever. If you are somone who is coming back to hotel after a long working day you'll need to get fresh and nothing better than a hot shower. So practically we had to adjust with cold water during our stay.

The service needs immediate improvement. The location is good but the hotel is not able to make its mark in hotel services. The staff needs proper grooming and better skills of hospitality and food and beverage services.

Not very crowded. We ordered their special veg pizza. The crust was thick and soggy. But the taste was good. We ordered coffee. It was nice. Last we ordered chicken malai tikka. It was freshly prepared. Took some time to be served. But it was delicious. If you want ambience and crowd, it's not the place. But if you are looking for a quiet place with decent food, go for it. Price is also reasonable.

The hotel is situated at entirely available place where every one of the taxis and cars can be effectively drawn closer. The hotel is exceptionally flawless and clean. Only good thing about the hotel is the location. Everything else is a disappointment. Water leakage in rooms from the roof. No hot water. Have to call the reception 15mins in advance to get hot water. Breakfast is unorganised and sub standard. Dirty cups, dirty plates. Very few options. Washrooms look like they are from early 1900's. Staff are too rude to be working in a normal hotel. If you are spending your own money and booking this place please dont. Very disappointed.

Maple wood was one of random choice to stay in but ít resulted a great decision as they had provided us the sweet room but it was with back side society view but still room was quite good and as expected. It was also in less crowded area…as of now it’s so hectic to stay inside or in middle of the city as new corridor is being built.

Not a great stay at all. We have stayed for a night in so called Premium room. Hotel was so stuffy, you will feel suffocated as the windows face some buildings at the back. Corridor was smelling really bad and felt unclean. Bed was uncomfortable which should have been essential in a hotel. Tables at the restaurant and sheets on them were unclean which made the dining experience as well bad. Overall experience was not good.

Worst experience in my whole life.. they change their policies at their own bill.. the pseudo educated lady posted as general manger is the worst of all experience neither she has manner to talk nor any etiquette how to deal customer. Even the owner seems a puppet to this lady ( as he claimed himself) . Total waste of money.. need to lodge an FIR against them.

Wonderful experience having booked entire Maplewood Hotel back in 2019 in account of a wedding. We stayed with family & closest friends and had a gala time. The rooms were spacious, of different configurations allowing us to house all the guests efficiently. The food was lip-smacking good on all 3 days, including the complimentary breakfast. Everyone loved the variety as well as taste. The service hall (on first floor) was arranged as per our liking and was spacious for 100+ guests. We held all rituals, had a section for dining as well as enough space to set-up a dance floor. Everyone loved it. The hotel is really well located, is walkable distance from Ranchi station, 5-6 kms from the airport and again walking distance from Ranchi's main road market area. It has ample dedicated parking space, a luxury during weddings. Special thanks to Santosh Ji, Kaushal Ji and Vishwanath Ji for making our stay a memorable one. The hotel interior is nicely done but not taken good care, there are iron stains on sanitary wares, rusted fittings, even the bedsheets and other upholstery are not in good condition, the breakfast buffet was really good and yes the staff is courteous and helpful. Overall experience was okay but felt a bit overpriced due to the non maintenance of the property. Will recommend it for quick stay as it's located nearby railway station and main road, even the airport is not very far.

In general ok but compared to the room rate of 3800/- the room size is very small. There is no soap rack in the toilet. Only one rack is there but it is very high. The restaurant is on the first floor but the wash basin is on the second floor. Breakfast menu in the buffet is the same for all day but the preparation of food is very delicious.

Though room service was being done daily, there were lots of dust in room specially wardrobe Bathroom shower head was Rusty and though wc had the tag clean and sanitized, it was dirty. The mattress of the room are old and compressed at many points specially towards middle Room service was good and any request/complaint was attended within reasonable time except for the washroom issue and DTH recharge issue. Location is fine i.e. within 1 km from railway station and within a shopping complex but otherwise there is no store around.

It was an amazing experience but, the room offered to us first had smoke smell, but we got another room. Otherwise everything else was excellent. Food is great.

Cons : No fans in room ( only AC ) Worst restaurant ( coffee lounge) Restaurant staffs don't know how to behave with their guests. If anybody wants to stay in this hotel, please avoid the restaurant.
