Excellent hotel !! With quality food and staff. There are so many choices in menu and all the items are just wonderful.

Nice. Staff very well behaved. Nice food. Room space is sufficient but water closet is small. Parking car inside premises, during day hours not allowed, there should have been more space for parking. Do there is a pool but water is not properly clean.

The restaurant and rooms are good. But I have to give zero stars to the management. The managers are quite money oriented - they fooled us to billed my guests twice (about $800) and refused to payback. I hope they get to learn some business ethics and the value of customer focus 😒

It gives you a royal feel with the structure of the building and the interiors. The place is clean and it has its own dining area too. Service is also good. Located away from the city rush.

At this price point, the hotel maintains a very unprofessional set of staff that will make your stay very annoying. The receptionist Aditya Kumar was very rude and lacked the basic etiquette of talking to anyone. There was no hot water running at night and neither reception nor house keeping received our calls. The is very limited parking allowed inside the premises of the hotel and most cars were to park outside on road at night. The location is also very bad, outside the city and dimly lit roads. At this price point much better properties are available in Ranchi.

Infrastructure- With a palace feel Food Quality - Very Good Ambience - Amazing Service - Very good A great place to visit with family, friends or better half. The place takes our mind to some old royal palace. The design of the infrastructure is really appreciable.

Chefs know the pallate of their customers precisely. I had the pleasure of tasting their wonderful breakfast buffet, a amalgamation of delicacies from length and breadth of India. From the piquant sausages to the mushy fruit breads, from the gelatinous strawberry smoothie to the crispy, frangible dosa. However I was rather impressively moved by the chef's expertise in the veg cutlet. To describe the delicacy in brief, it's a simple mashed yet spicy veg patty, dipped, served with dash of line and smooth sprinkle of coriander, strikes the pallate at the right buds. When eaten at the right degrees, gives a taste closest to the kitchen gods. Overall, a must visit for anyone who wants to explore sophisticated side of Ranchi.

"Aroma - The Royal Retreat" restaurant was great before , but introducing Awadhi food festival corrupted the whole scenario. Food has gone worse to worst and service people denied serving the actual food which has drawn us previously. This time we all felt that non selling waste food now being forcefully shoved down the throat in the name of Awadhi food festival. Big NO for BENGALI , Only opt for old menu (which they removed in the name of Awadhi) if they ask you to take the new high priced menu at no good taste , simple reject and leave the restuarant and write a strong review in google. Suggestion : If you wish to introduce such waste food festival , keep the old menu items available as well as a saviour. I have been to many many food festivals before but this was ultimate worst.

I’m posting this at night 3AM suddenly waking up from sleep as I have been sweating. They changed my room twice from 205 to 213 and the AC doesn’t seem to support the room space. The asked me to pay full amount by night 8pm so that I do not quarrel while checking out. Swimming pool turned into a fountain, do not fall for the pics. Not worth 5,600/- per day. I have been ripped.. this was my first staycation in a hotel along with my family and thanks to the royal retreat for ruining it.. everyone out there please take review seriously and opt for better hotels and don’t fall for the trap

Over-all Good quality. Poor car parking area and very congested Bath and toilet space.

At Royal Retreat....they do ensure to give their best when it comes to service towards their guests. If there is an instance of guest inconvenience, the staff will ensure to initiate a service recovery which is indeed commendable. Keep up the good work!!!

Overall an excellent experience . The food is really good and value for money. Try their grilled chicken and fish fried.

The place itself is great, with live music and a great view from the restaurant inside. It has a pool with outdoor seating/dining facilities. The food... I assure u that u will love it. The only thing is that not a lot of people in Ranchi know about this place because it is located in the outskirts.

This hotel is outside the city, basically at the entry point if you are coming from Ramgarh. This is near Butti more. Look wise the name of the hotel justifies it. You will find this but expensive but you should visit once if you have plans to stay in Ranchi.

Being a non vegetarian, I tried veg for the first time but had expected more. Spring rolls was very spicy for a normal person. The dahi kabab was too sweet not as expected by my bery vegetarian friend who was kind of disappointed. The cheese rolls did not have any taste until you dip it in the red chutney sause? Shezwan! Felt a little disappointed, ambiance is good.

On basis of exploring new place of fine dinning, visited this place for dinner with friends. It's above expectation based on atmosphere, outlooks and foods. Vibes of heritage property with touch of rajmahal looks..small size restaurant with liquor facility but gives a experience of premium dining. Located off from main road near Sainik colony. Service good, food better, being less crowded, ambiance is good.you can have explicit charm of dining near pool in open air after prior intimation. Tried mocktails with complementary snacks. Ordered cord slat and pepper, fish finger with fries and tartar sause, mugh Rashmi kabab and exquisite browney as desert.. taste and portion of food upto mark.. Must have another plan in near future.

I went to the restaurant. I had tikka plater which was nice but the quantity is less. The soup was nice. But I am disappointed with the main course.. the chicken was not cooked properly and also the taste was very average.

I visited this place and had a pleasure to be welcomed by the staff members at the aroma restaurant. It was my parents anniversary and the overwhelming gesture by the staffs was very awesome. This hotel is nice but quite expensive in terms of location as this almost outer part. But staff and manager are very customer friendly and have good sens of hospitality. I liked their attitudes and service.

It is a Nice Place. I loved the Rooms ,the balcony, the view , the infrastructure, the interior almost every thing. If you are looking for a venue this will gonna a great option. It totally gives a royal vibe. The food served in the restaurant under Royal retreat was awesome, i totally liked that.

The food was good, the management wasn't. I wouldn't say that it was the worst but it could have been better. In other words the management didn't feel welcoming or friendly.

Attended a function on roof top where Food served were cold. Even taste not good. Heared and lot earlier but when visited got disappointed. Hotel Mgt should deploy good chef or monitor & test prepared dishes. Property is good.

Extremely bad service and worst food ever. I took my family and friends often and it was so great previously. Unfortunately they forcefully introduced a Awadhi food festival and it extremely bad. Full money waste, high priced and worst food quality. Just a FRAUD in the name of AWADHI FOOD FESTIVAL.

Used to frequent this place back in the college days, it had a reputation. The service WERE good and hospitality was nice but fast forward few years, things have changed. It looks like a good luxury hotel from the outside but inside it's a different story (sadly). The service has undoubtedly deteriorated. The rooms are average at best. The bathroom is quite tiny and the shower was broken. The electricity supply was quite erratic. Also, the management is quite cunning. TL;DR: Didn't have a good experience with them. Avoid if possible.

Banquet hall is big enough for corporate programmes and accomodate approx 300 people in it. Food and service was good.

Best restaurant at this location very peaceful at night Managers are good, Intrance is not so good at night but hotel view is Amazing for family visit at this location. Good for small birthday cellibration cakes available, simple decoration also available for birthday etc.. I orderd Kulcha where i found hair in it that is bit concerning else rest all ok.... Manager was good they replaced it quickly... Swimming pool is only for room guest only.

Very poor place in terms of dining. Food is not at all tasty and the pricing is also very high. For example a simple starter costs 600+. Need a lot of reconsideration. Even the ambience of dinning area is not up to the mark.

Room and infrastructure getting old. Linen, maintenance, etc. of the hotel is on back foot. At same high price you have better maintained rooms and breakfast spread at Ranchi.

Food was awsome but they was serving very badly i was very desapointed .I told the staff there three to four times to pack the remaining food but they did not pack it and Serving was also not doing well. Water was also given on demand after five to six times.

The ambience was good, I was there for some official work so needed a cofee. It was average.But they don't provide WiFi for resturant.

Stayed here for 4 days. It was a good experience. It has comfortable and neat rooms. The restaurant offers a wide variety of cuisine ranging from north/south indian delicacy to sandwiches pastas asian dishes etc and all are very well prepared. Rates are decent and affordable. Recommend staying here if you're visiting the city

The ambience is quite lovely, we had ordered around 4 dishes and among all those dishes I enjoyed cream of mushroom soup the most along with sizzling brownie with ice cream. I was wary of spider chicken since it was my first time trying, it was quite rich and it had noodles wrapped around the chicken (picture attached) my sister enjoyed the dish. If you're okay with rich dishes then this is for you. Among all the dishes, I found the mutton curry to be average, otherwise, everything else was splendid.

Dinner in the Royal Retreat, interesting menu, wonderful meal that was perfectly served by waiter, who also filled us in on the local community. Room service breakfast was exactly on time, hot (not warm) food and oh so good. All in all, a perfect stay!!

Quite maintained and clean place. Good place to arrange a gathering of 100-200 people. Restaurant is also good. Hotel rooms are also available.

Nice decoration and atmosphere. But receptionist are not good. And welcome process is not standardized as per the reputation.rooms are very nice and ambience is very nice.

Excellent place to stay. The place and ambience fully justifies the name. You will get the feel of royalty in every corner of the place. Take sometime and have a tour of this place, you will love it. The food here is awesome. We had all the 3 course of meals here. All the dishes were excellent. The staffs here very nice and cooperative. We had to choose a place to stay between patratu valley and hundru falls, so chose this place. And we had to admit our decision was perfect in all respect.

Good place to arrange a gathering of near about 150 to 250 people. Campus is well maintained and quite clean. Staffs are also cooperative. There are hotel rooms available too incase needed. There is a separate restaurant as well. Food quality is good but little expensive as compared to other similar places. Parking is open but there is enough space to park cars. Overall a nice place .

Very good vibes and situated in good location just outside the main city market away from traffic and noise. Food is good and reasonably priced. Good for get together and parties both indoors and in garden. Swimming pool is not clean when visited and the gym is also very poorly equipped. Over all good place to spend time with friends and family.

Nice lawn area for small functions and parties. Also have a big hall for party and conference. But food taste really need some improvement. Due to food taste give it to 3 star.

The ambience was good, but there is alot that is required when you are maintaining such huge resturant and hotel.. the bare minimum that is needed is a polite server and a good service, both of which were lacking here. I would never visit this place again such rude behaviour by the waiters and lack of responsibility to treat customers ..

Food and service were terrible this time when I visited in March'22. I had visited their restaurant previously, the food was good then. Service was poor(delayed/messy serving) too. I had visited alongwith my family for dinner, and had opted for the outdoor seating. Suddenly the so called manager (a bald guy) barged in and spoke so rudely asking us to vacate, stating that this place is reserved for some party( which wasn't even happening!). Eventually we found 4 men sitting in the same place. The same message could have been communicated in a humble tonality! The manager I feel needs to be reminded that he is in the hospitality sector, and such arrogant behaviour isn't going to work here. Definitely never going to go back here ever, not will I recommend anyone.🙏

I stayed in the resort from 23rd to 26th April 2022. The staff was polite and courteous, but that was the only good thing going on there. The food while it tasted good, caused me and my mother a good case of food poisoning. Additionally, the rooms were cosy but had a major cockroach infestation, hallway on the 2nd floor stank of garbage. Would never visit this place again.

The quality of the food is great. Booking for just any occasion not right because people work very slowly only after the food is over. I will give zero for it does not bring soon.

We are regulars at the Bar and the service and ambience is wonderful. Liquor rates are bit on the higher side. But over all experience is Good. Especially Mr Sanjay manager at the bar.

Wonderful experience. It's a blend of luxurious fine-dining experience within the city limits. The only dissapointment was the road connecting Royal Retreat to the Highway. It was in a very bad condition and all cars have definitely faced a lot of issue passing through that area.

We were at this place for the restaurant- aroma. The food was amazing. You should try their prawn briyani! The service is also top notch. Soothing ambience.

A good property for indoor/outdoor parties. Hall can accommodate 300 guests where as outdoor area is okay for a gathering of 400.
