Ratu Palace is a famous historical tourist site in Ranchi. It is the home of the last Nagvanshi clan that resided in the city. Ratu Palace is the residence-cum-heritage site that was the home of Nagvanshi clan for the last 1,950 years. Its construction resembles the majestic Buckingham Palace. Though the last Maharajah of the Nagvanshi Clan passed away back in 2014, the legacy is still protected in the palace.

Amazing place to recap the history. When I enter in this fort I lost in history, everything as it. But not completely open, only front part. I don't know why government not open for tourists. It open only in Durga Puja, only front part.

Ratu fort is opened for Public only during Durga Puja days and Public are allowed only to see it from outside. It has been maintained well and is believed to be one of the important locations in chotanagpur plateau of Ranchi. The last king has expired and the princess is residing there. Office, Durga temple is also housed in the vast area.

It's a palace of Raturaja (king of Chotanagpur) it's beautiful palace some garden are there But it's only open on some special occasions like ( on the day of Rathyatra , Durgapuja and Ramnavami) You can see it from roadside

It is one of the great monuments of Jharkhand.It is private property of King of Chhotanagpur ,but you can easily see the architecture from outside of Fort. must visit site nearer to Ranchi surrounding.
