Everything is good but once you get admitted, you are just a black cheque to the hospital. My wife got admit for just one day and they included one full bottle of hand sanitizer of rs750 in the bill which wasn't even needed. The same doctor's consultation fees is rs600 in the hospital but they charged rs1600 for one visit. Literally absurd pricing. Service is no doubt 10/10 but they should consider the pricing as we are human not money printing machines.

I was having minor surgery with Dr. Gautam. He is very professional and efficient. Hospital staff is very friendly and approachable. I have used private ward which was well maintained. You can get the treatment in affordable and comfortable way.*

The main hospital and the staff have been very helpful to both my wife and I. We were under the care of the doctors after an accident. Barkha and Monika-coordinators from the doctors team were very helpful. They went beyond in ensuring that we were taken care of. The Advanced diagnostic center is another story which should learn from the main branch.

The process was very well organised. The people were really nice and understanding. They knew the weight of responsibility that is on them and the seriousness of the job they are doing. It was an extremely smooth experience. Also, the day I went the whole city was nearly waterlogged but the staff were at their desks doing their jobs and there was no irritation at muddy footprints or wet umbrellas.

0- star hospital This is the most irresponsible hospital and the staff members are inefficient. I took RT-PCR on 31st Dec 2021 for an international travel on 1st Jan 2022. Prior to my arrival I had called multiple times to confirm if they were working on 31st and 1st. On call they said that the reports would be out within 3-4hours. They charged Rs 1200/- and didnot turn up with the report until the next day. I had repeatedly called them for an update and finally was presented with a fake POSITIVE report. I confirmed it was a false report as I had immediately tested in other labs and received a negative report. On further questioning they handed a fake report with no QR code. They not only behaved rudely, they were also very casual about the RT-PCR. They did not bother about giving an unauthentic certificate at the very least. Details of the doctor on duty and the person who created the report are attached. Pls beware of these irresponsible staff, who are ready to forge reports instead of doing their job.

I visited last month, Doctor and staff especially "Satabdi" did a great job with my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful and patient.

No proper co-ordination between their own department. Patient have to wait for long hours to get one test done. No value of time. They don’t have proper arrangements for patients keen who are waiting or have wait. Post Discharge update## After few intervention the situation got salvaged and happy to say they took the feedback positively and worked on it to improve their services.. The government must cancel the license of this hospital or else more people in Ranchi will die paying money on the name of treatment. One of the worst hospitals you co go to. Doctors don't care about the patient but are more worried how they can extract more money from you. They won't treat until the patient is critical and then they will say operation is the only way to go ahead. Had to move my patient to another hospital and they started treatment immediately. This hospital is a blessing for whole of Jharkhand. One of my relative was rushed to this hospital in emergency on 1st Jan 2021 at around 4 am. He was soon operated for 4 major heart blockages within 2 hours, even though it was a new year day and everyone is supposed to be enjoying. The cardiac team is super dedicated and effective. The cardiac care Unit is equally equipped and sufficient. The other staffs are also helpful and really dedicated. I can't thank enough to this hospital and it's staff. Hats off to the whole hospital and it's management.

The hospital is nice and clean and functional. Special mention for Ms Shruti at the TPA helpdesk who was very coordinative and helpful during our checkout. She was prompt and helped through each step clearly.

The physiotherapy department and the therapists are thorough professional. Especially Dr Baby has been very friendly and very effective in conducting the exercises for my son. There is a mark difference post the physiotherapy. Miss Sampriti of the department has also been very co operative, understanding and helpful. Wish the department and the Hospital in all their endeavors in taking care of all patients.

5** for hospitality *Supportive doctros and staffs. Showed concern about patient and helped in every possible way. And nursing staffs were always available to help. This hospital admin staff has no value for patient's pain or trauma. During my recent hospitalization post accident I was kept in pain for more than 27 hrs. I was admitted in the hospital at around 10.30am with all formalities done. TPA desk was supposed to register the claim with my insurance company. Unfortunately they set ideal until around 8 pm in the evening when they registered the claim with incomplete paperwork. Staff completed the paperwork by next day 12.30 pm. The approval was received within one hour and the surgery was possible only after 27 hrs of admission. Doctor was ready to operate immediately but thanks to these admin staff the same was possible only after 27 hrs of admission. I was in touch with the insurance company to expedite the case. They asked me the claim registration id which I was unable to provide them as no paperwork was done by the staff. Many doctors are good but admin staff are pathetic. Hospital management need to work in this area. Completely in-human behavior.

Bhagwan Mahavir Medical Hospital is a very useless or poor hospital, this hospital is just looting money, the patient has been admitted for 4 days but till now they have not found out what happened to the patient, they have given a bill of more than Rs 100000. Good Hospital with latest facilities and proper hygiene. I first came here two months ago for my mother in law's treatment. She was detected Cancer. And today is my fifth visit to Medica. I am thankful to Dr. Gunjesh Kumar Singh for his caring and cooperative behavior and satisfied with his treatment. Coordinator Suryatapa and the Multi-V staffs are very helpful and caring. Thank You Medica. But one thing need to be improved that is "killing time". Sometime it takes hrs for a test or a long time in processing bills. Please, look after.

I had admitted my father as he was diagnosed with the symptoms of partial paralysis and under the observation of Dr Deepak Chandra Prakash. It been 3 months passed and he is now able to walk on his own but the time he had admitted him in hospital he was unable to walk even. I had very bad experience with medica Ranchi. My mother was not well from couple of days. She is diabetics. One night fallen in bathroom had head injury. We meet DR Asutosh Kumar Thakur, he suggested to admit her. She was admitted to HDU, I don’t know why she was taken to HDU. She was very much stable, talking properly, was able to walk herself. But she was week. In HDU hospital kept her empty stomach for full day, because they had to do ultrasound. But it was not done. Next day till 8PM she was empty stomach because they had to do ultrasound. Till next day ultra sound was not done. Their staffs are very irresponsible. Doctors don’t care about patients. Their only aim is to stretch patient to stay in hospital for many days so that they can earn money. Also they do unwanted test, spends more money on medicine and surgical items. I am struggling more with hospital service. She still in hospital not yet discharged.If any hospital staff is seeing this post. Please try to connect with me, I will tell you whole story.

This place is only for looting you.Don't go there because there will be chances of not returning with your patient.They did not give medication and make bills of 1 to 2 lakh in just 2 days and they will not allow you to meet with your patient they will say it is suspected ward no one can meet.They will try their best to stop you for long time so they can make some large amount of bills.When you try to go on 1st,2nd or 3rd floor they will let you go but they will not let you be for more than 10 mins if any guard see you then he or she will say Sir/Madam you can't stand hear you have to go on Ground Floor and they will say i can't do anything it is rule. Please guys don't go there in case emergency you can go other hospital.I have experienced this types of things that's why i am telling you so you will not regret affter going Medica.

Good hospital with almost all modern treatment facilities. My father had severe head injuries, was admitted in emergency, Dr Patrick and his team performed craniectomy and also did the further treatment. Doctors are great, no doubt in that, other staffs are also very helpful and nice. One bad thing is they don't have in house CT scan and MRI machine, they will take the indoor patients to their diagnostic lab (around 1km) for scans. This was a really disappointing because my father who underwent neurosurgery a day before was taken through the ambulance to the lab for CT where he was exposed to the dusty environment (because of some construction work going on there). But still overall you will receive good treatment. The hospital has tie-up with multiple corporates as well as insurance companies, so do avail that, the hospital staff will certainly help you in that. Lastly I felt that the discharge process was too lengthy and a bit slow, certainly this can be improved.

I am taking treatment for my father from Dr. Deepak Chandra Prakash. I don't have enough words to thank him for the way he has been helping my father recover. He saved my father. I am also very thankful to the nurses, associates, other doctors, therapists, nutritionists and anyone else who looked after him or enabled the treatment. Dr. Deepak is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced doctor, and actually cares for his patients. In our case, he diagnosed the problem really thoroughly. Despite numerous problems, he kept the number of medicines minimum and optimised the dosage. Magically, he brought the sugar level of my father under 100 without insulin! He also scolded my father for being careless towards health, but it actually brought hope to us when many others were losing that. He talks very nicely, listens well. I didn't expect him to remember me after 6 months, but he did in detail. He is also very available and provides inputs well. Doesn't let the patient or the family get too nervous and explains the condition and gives his best. The facilities at Medica are also top class. Scheduling appointments are easy in general. They take complete care of their patients. That provides some relief to the family members to a great extent. They have good number of tie ups with insurance companies which helps go cashless - so that's implemented really well. It also has lots of testing and physiotherapy options inside. So that saves lots of time, money and efforts. I found people to be generally friendly to me. I hope people stay healthy and safe, but if ever there is a problem, I think we can trust them and pray for the rest.

Good place for opd treatment. Almost all departments are available. Cleanliness and systematic preocess are main advantages. Overall speed at the billing counter needs to improve. Can't comment on in-patient treatment. Staffs behaviour and efforts are admirable though during rush hours they just struggle to handle situations. Worst part is the parking facility, specially for two wheelers. Parking is at owner risk and out of hospital premises. Shall update about experience with doctors.

Everything upto mark ‼️ I'm visiting this hospital since near about 10 years for my parents and never faced any problems. Dr. Mriganka Singh (Urologist), Dr Awinash Kumar ( Gastroenterologist) and Dr. Siddharth Kumar ( Urologist) are all very caring and polite in their behaviour and they have very familiar behaviour. But since few months, doctors are not available in OPD timings and their co-ordinator says they are in rounds/OT. So, I think this issue must be sorted out as they might visit admitted pateints after OPD timings or before as many of the patients wait them for a long time after billing in OPD. And I request the management to please ask Dr Deepak Chandra Prakash ( Neurology) to have some politeness while dealing with pateints.

I want to warn anyone thinking about going to this hospital for medical treatment. My family and I went through a very sad loss because of what we believe was the hospital's mistake. They charged a lot of money, and we didn't feel like they took good care of us. The people who run the hospital cared more about money than making sure patients were okay. They didn't listen to our worries. I really think it's better for everyone to look at other choices, like Patna Medanta or government hospitals like RIMS. We need to make sure patients get good care, not just make money. Also, we were really unhappy with how Dr. Rakesh Aggarwal treated us. We didn't feel like we got good medical help. Please think really hard before picking this hospital...

I was very much concerned and worried about the surgery and other complications which might happen,but It was very easily and professionally handled by Dr Anjana Gandhi. She is very talented and experienced.The way she bridge off the Patient Doctor gap is really ADD-ONS. She keenly listens to the patients and responds in the best possible way to communicate to the patients and kins. Moreover,her attendant was very helpful for his quick response to admit the patients. *Dr. Rakesh Agarwal is an amazing surgeon. He did the TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT Sergery of my father which was fractured from an bike accident and within one months my father started to walk. We were overwhelmed by the behaviour of Dr. Rakesh Agarwal and his co-ordinates Mr. Pramod sir and Renu Madam. They were very polite and very friendly. We did not like the management of MEDICA it's very costly. But the doctor is Great. Thank you so much Dr. Rakesh Agarwal sir from all of my family member.

AT MEDICA HOSPITAL, after his treatment now am am much better and continues improvement started, Sir as a human being, gem of a person, Always thanks to Dr for his treatments and well behaviour

A really easy process for covid-19 vaccinations and a good experience visiting the Medica Hospital. It hardly took 30 minutes for the whole process. The staff was helpful, kind, and professional. I would highly recommend everyone to go there.

Just amazing hospital to be in. Cannot fault anywhere, staff and building. Good communication, caring attitude by all staff. I've been here for the first dose of vaccination. The process was pretty smooth and the people here were very helpful. They take all the necessary steps to ensure the person is safe and okay to step out post vaccination. When any anomalies are noticed they give proper attention and care. By and large it's a great hospitality service and would highly recommend others.

My dad was admitted here for and orthopaedic surgery. I shall share my overall experience of the hospital and services rendered. Admission - The front line staff are not so much professional to handle chaos in case of emergency. They give tell you problems not the solutions. Every now and then their seniors were called by us to resolve the issues. Treatment - I would rate it 7/10. Doctors are nice. My dad was in private ward pre and post surgery for around 11 days. Doctors used to visit daily once and check his status and briefed about the whole progress and updates. Happy with the surgery in which plates were implanted on the right leg of my dad by the two orthopaedic surgeon. Nursing - A lot of improvement can be done. Overall it was an okayish experience. Discharge- Total chaos. Food bills were added which we didn't ordered at all. I didn't check it also, I paid, later we realised that it is incorrect which was sorted later. Very slow process of billing. I didn't get the ambulance service. On time. I had to wait for 3 hours for getting an ambulance for dropping my dad home. Overall I would rate it as a good hospital in Ranchi but a lot of improvement areas.

My mother was admitted here ..she was fitted with stents first as recommended by the doctors..and within a week she suffered a massive stroke and readmitted in the icu. Despite our repeated requests the main doctor never attended her and she passed away within 2 days of readmission.

Hospital is too good but I felt embarrassing when attendant of hospital named Shubham Sahu Of OPD 10 spoke rudely with my patient and put on my patient waiting for more than 2 hours to meet doctor when the Doctor was in OPD itself. When I phoned Doctor, the attendant received the call, came out and said,”ohh that’s you who is calling, wait outside for more time and allowed other patients to visit who came later than us”. Finally I moved away with my patient who was operated by Dr.Anupam sir in the Same hospital few months ago. I am Officer at NCIB and was to move to my office too. It’s ill behaviour by the hospital staff. I would request the management to terminate these staffs who doesn’t know hospitality and way to speak with patient and their attendant.

Billing Department is Horrible they don't know where to do Check up which are not available in their premises... They don't have change amount they write it in Receipt as dues when you reach them that guys will surely not available and other staff Of billing tell you he will only return it... 200 -300 ke le ko chaakar toh nahi laagate rahe gaya ** Medicine department which is outside the HOSPITAL 👎👎 BE AWARE OF , They give less quantity and charge full ..In place Of 4 tablet they gave 1 tablet and added 4 tablet amount.. Very rude and unprofessional. The person incharge of test reports forged our report to trouble us because we asked him to send it on time. Pathetic service. The hospital should take action against such irresponsible staff.

Dr. Anjana Gandhi is good doctor, In November 2022 she treated my father for cellulitis in his left leg. Surgery and everything went well. His condition is very good now. The only problem is that after surgery ma'am didn't meet us, what i want to say is that whenever any doctor perform an operation or surgery they meet with guardian to tell about operation and what care should guardian take in future. This didn't happened here.

Physiotherapy team they are very Cooperative with excellent care. They treated my mum diagnosed with shoulder pain. We visited several hospital for this pain related but not relief. Name fame Medica hospital here my mum get satisfied.

We are satisfied with all the services specially the doctors. They are very understanding, polite and explained each and every details very minutely. Our only dissatisfaction is the discharge process (not the billing department but rest of the procedure) which really need some proper attention.

Very poor service, especially the TPA/Insurance dept. I had a planned surgery and especially came down from Dubai with unrealistic expectation it seems. They simply wasted my time in getting approval from the insurance company as they couldn’t understand plain english queries. I even proposed to have the surgery done in cash and that too they didn't entertained. I eventually had to switch to Santevita Hospital where everything went smooth. It is truly said that when there is delay, it is for the betterment.. Never ever choose this Hospital.

Worst hospital in ranchi, my mausa got admitted here and paid around 28 lakh and still they wanted more and refused to treat him. So he got admitted in RIMS and he is better now . Its just a hospital with looters not doctor that I would say .

I strongly urge everyone to explore alternative options like Patna Medanta or government hospitals like RIMS. It's important to prioritize genuine patient care over profit. Additionally, our interactions with Dr. Rakesh Aggarwal were disappointing, leaving us deeply unsatisfied with the medical attention we received. Please think twice before choosing this hospital ... The hospital's management was really bad, with poor managers and doctors. I had many bad experiences there. I suggest you don't go there, especially for emergencies .I strongly recommend opting for an alternative facility, as this hospital's priorities seem to lean more towards financial gain than the well-being of patients.

1. This hospital says that they have semi private ward but there is no bed available for attender. If you’re showing a service to available and making money out of it then do have some ethics and integrity to provide service as well 2. Their TPA people don’t know how to talk, and their TPA is available for limited period of time. They even denied Discharge of patient even after doctor’s confirmation.
