Ispat Hospital it's a hospital of SAIL situated at samoly Ranchi near machon school .It's a very good hospital services provided by the hospital authority & stuff are also very good. Stuff of the hospital are well disciplined. There are a casualty (emergency )ward & an OPD ward .

Good Facility . Vaccination Center is also well maintained and systematic . Took my 2nd dose of COVID 19 Vaccine on 8th December 2021

Clean and well Maintained Hospital. The ISPAT Hospital started as a small Medical Inspection Room way back in 1961 to serve a community of about 500 employees of the erstwhile Hindustan Steel Ltd. at Ranchi. Subsequently it was expanded to take care of the health needs of over 5000 employees and their family members belonging to MECON, RDCIS of SAIL, MTI, CET, Commercial Audit and other service units (Welfare Service, Sports Club, JVM Shyamli and Co-operative Stores). Specialist services are being provided in Medicine, Surgery, including laparoscopy, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, ENT, Pathology and Blood Bank, Dentistry, Radiology, Anaesthesia, Physiotherapy, and well equipped ICU. The Hospital also has specialized investigation facilities such as endoscopy, ultrasonography, echocardiography, sleep lab, computerized treadmill test and laser facilities for eye. For a mid size Hospital, almost all major operation operations are being performed here. The X-ray department carries out almost all the routine and special radiological investigations. The Public Health Department carries out preventive inoculations against most of the diseases as per Govt. of India guidelines. Periodic health camps are conducted in the nearby villages adopted by MECON for community development activities.

The doctors are ok. I find the nurses in the Injection Room, too rude and incompetent. Also the hospital needs to upgrade the infrastructure.

Experienced doctors are not available and medical infrastructure is not satisfactory. Closed on second and fourth Saturday and all Sundays. Only emergency room is available on these holidays.

Ispat Hospital was established in Shyamali Colony by earstwhile Hindustan Steel Ltd for its employee residing in Shyamali Colony. Later on after it came under Mecon Ltd for treatment of MECON and SAIL employees jointly. It is a very good hospital having all facilities with qualified and experienced Doctor. Ispat hospital having outdoor facility as well as 100 bed indoor hospital facility with 7X24 emergency doctor facility.Now a day outside patient can also take medical facilities on a minimum consultancy fee.

The infrastructure is not good. There are frequesnt power cuts in Ranchi and this hospital doesn't have power backup. When I went there the power was down for an hour.

A well maintained neat & clean hospital for treatment of patients with normal illness, with facility for emergency treatment, delivery, operation theatre, usg, indoscopic examination, Trade mill, dental clinic,etc. Drs are very good and cooperative to the patient

This is the Hospital mainly for the SAIL employees, even though the local people are always welcome for the medical services on a basis of paying a nominal fee. The Hospital is located at Shyamali Colony, DORANDA in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. One will get general treatment as well as emergency attention here in the hospital. There are outdoor and indoor treatment facilities too. The hospital is neat and clean. Infrastructure is quite good and one can generally rely on.

I contacted on all 4 contact nos. provided . No one picked up the call . Useless hospital just like useless state government.

Its a hispital governed by MECON LTD Management.

gastroenterology, cardiologist, eye specialist, orthopaedic physician is not there in this hospital.

I don't know about all the faculties but the dentist is really inexperienced here. My sister went there for RCT after which she couldn't even eat for days. She had to rely mostly on liquid food. The RCT was for about three days because of which the pain in her entire face was unbearable. We could even see her was face swollen. The doctor (Dr. Preeti Pallavi) said it will get better after capping for which they asked extra Rs 3000. But we went to see other doctor who told us, after the X-ray that mu sister's mouth was seriously injured as her gums were all drilled up so we couldn't get her capping done yet because we have to wait for her gums to heal. Seriously playing with people's health has become a really common deal for these people who are shamelessly calling themselves doctors.

Worst dentist here. Know nothing. After third day of RCT, my face got swollen and also the doctor were doing the whole RCT wrong. I need to get checked again somewhere else. Then I came to know that the doctor had made a hole in my gum because of which my tooth was in pain for so many days.
