Dr. Vivek sahay is worst doctor in Ranchi, he is not updated & unable to take decisions. I have lost vision of my one eye under his treatment. Don't ever visit him, he's just like ucha dukan pheeka pakvan. He even can't diagnose if you are suffering from some rare disease. He will misguide you & won't give you proper advice, he just want to make money & more money. One star is also very much for him he deserves nothing

Vivek Sahay the Great doctor! He listens to the problem with politeness and prescribes the minimum medicines. Fee is 750 which is little high for Ranchi considering the unorganised system and services this hospital provide. I will still say if you are looking for a good doc other things can be avoided.

The doctor is not civilised enough to be called a doctor. The staff is good but what could you do in a hospital with good staff and a bad doctor. The doctor was more inclined to talk about my salary and how I was not adding value to my family and that I should eat 'middle class meal' if only I knew what it meant. Extremely condescending and highly unprofessional. Places like Kashyap and Vision plus are much better. In addition to that, it's extremely expensive. So basically one is paying only to be insulted, rebuked and treated like dirt.

It's better to go for government hospital than matri prerna eye hospital. This review is on my personal experience. Struggling for vision after cataract operation because of retinal detachment. Only 6/60 vision left in right eye now who is going to take this responsibility. Don't know what to say now I am Struggling for vision of my father very much frustrated.

This hospital has all the services related to eye care. The doctors and staffs are well behaved and professional. It also has lens clinic in its premises.

Firstly when I called in the hospital for an appointment of Dr. Vivek Sahay, and was told to come hospital between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday - Saturday) by one of the receptionist. But she didn't mentioned anything about specific OPD days of Dr. Vivek Sahay. I reached the hospital at 11:15 AM on Monday from Hazaribagh for getting my mother checked by the Dr. Vivek Sahay and was told to wait till 3:00 PM by the receptionist there as it was Dr. Vivek Sahay's OT day (which wasn't mentioned during the phone call previously when I asked for an appointment on MONDAY) and if he will get free by that time then he will attend my mother. And when I called in the hospital at 3:00 PM to ask weather Dr. is available or not now, will he attended us today or not the receptionist cut the call without any concern. The hospital management is really bad and receptionist are untrained and ill mannered.

Presently I am in hospital and this is my second visit for cataract surgery...and today here for booking OT for surgery ...I don't no what is happening here there is no any dedicated counter ... councelling section staff told that it will take one and half hour .....for booking OT.... Overall I am not feeling comfortable till now

Hi yesterday I visited this place but it was shifted to new building l, a big hospital. It is close to old building around 1-2 km. Everything is fine at new hospital.

My Father lost his left eyesight just because of his (Dr. VIVEK SAHAY's) Negligence.. It was just a Cataract operation and due to the infection caused due to faulty product he used it became a case of RETINAL DETACHMENT. Later even after Retinal pasting done twice in Shankar Netralaya we couldn't get his eyesight back. Avoid this man at any cost..
