The taste of litti is great. You can try out the dahi bada and chaat as well. We recently went there to have a bite. Since this place is famous, it was not hard to locate. They were ready to serve at around 3:30pm, though the owner claimed that they usually have it ready to serve by 2 pm. We tried all the three offerings and the taste was, as expected good. They serve litti drenched in ghee, but it you want, you can get it dry and guilt free 😄

We had ghee litti and dahi vada. Each plate comprises of 2 pieces. The price justifies the quantity and taste. Food tastes heavenly. The ghee adds a different dimension to the litti chokha and the dahi and masala of the dahi vada are extremely good. All items have a freshness in their taste. Even though it is a roadside vending cart, all the staffs wore a mask and gloves. It is a gem of a place and a must visit.

Highly Recommended place for devouring Authentic litti dipped in desi ghee and aaloo baingan chokha served with salad and chutney! Also their dahi Bhalla is a must try as you don’t find that taste in eastern India, will take you to North Delhi’s flavour. Pricing a bit higher for Jharkhand’s standards still they manage to hold on to their loyal customers and word of mouth! This is a small stall outside the High Court in Ranchi. They serve Litti Chokha, a famous dish from UP/ Bihar. It's basically a dough ball made up of wheat flour washed in milk adding pulses - Red Channa powder with other herbs. The stall is quite old and a famous joint in Ranchi to have Litti Chokha. They charge INR 50 for one piece & INR 80 for one piece dipped in Ghee (Butter). It is served with Tomato Chutney, Potato Bhaji, and a piece of onion.

It is famous only because of fake hype nothing else. You can get litti more tasty than theirs in many places in ranchi like Doranda, also Near Sainik Market at low prices.

The litti was awesome but obviously overpriced. 2 pieces cost Rupees 90/- (with ghee) which is a bit expensive considering you are having it on a roadside.

Next to High Court of Ranchi, this place serves good quality Litti. While it is only on a hand-kart, they are maintaining quality. Only observation, they didn't have Brinjal in Chokha. In fact, there was no chokha. Litti was served with thick tomato chutney. Price is also slightly on higher side.

It is not a big restaurant, it is available in thela near road side but the taste of the combination of litti & chokka is of exceptional quality. The best littis I have ever had! These blew my mind completely. The littis were fresh, tasty and cheap. The place can get really crowded so it’s important to go at a time that is slightly before 6pm so that you can give the crowds a slip and do not have to wait for these scrumptious balls of heaven!! It’s amazing how they serve almost everything in cups made of leaves making it totally free of plastic waste. They accept cards and also deliveries on Zomato and Swiggy. They also have an Instagram page of their own! It’s really something. Definitely a must try when in Ranchi
