I have seen how much powerful social media is and honestly I have never really thought I have to witness its reach by typing a situation where its taking my heart out in leap to write each word. This post is for seeking justice for my wife who died because of doctors negligence and unprofessional behaviour in a 5 star hospital in Ranchi named ‘Santevita’ after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl.This incident has turned our world upside down and left our happy family mourning, shattered.The little infant didn’t do anything wrong neither her mother who was fearless, prudent, a responsible daughter in law, loving wife,a beautiful daughter and a mother to a new born girl whom she didn’t even had the privilege to feed for the first time or give her warmth or atleast see her. Even after trying day in and out, no legal action is taken against the staff, doctors or hospital. I request everyone seeing the post to share and support. Nothing much, if atleast we will be able to spread awareness regarding negligence, bad behaviour and manhandling of ‘Santevita Hostipal, Ranchi’, we will saving someone’s life and getting some share of justice for my family and the new born baby in our home who is going to live her life without her mother. I believe humanity still prevails.

I am a DOCTOR Medical Officer serving to Government I want to give 5 star rating to this Hospital but not giving For few reasons. front office night shift staff behaviour is not Good even with outsider Doctors who is admit him/herself. Canteens food is very poor in quality for the Patient and for attended also. they are not providing good quality food. front office night shift staff behaviour is not good the talk rudely and they are not liberal after 8 o clock in evening cafeteria or canteen close and they dont allow outside foods even you are a single attended and your and your patients is alone

Money minting hospital where inspired of taking time from doctor and giving fees they ask to wait for 3 hours. Pathology is the worst , they charge so exorbitantly yet fail to deliver reports over whatsapp. They only accept cash at counter, there is no facility of credit or qr code.

Santevita Hospital provided exceptional service during my stay. The nursing team was not only professional but also very caring, delivering exceptional care. The doctors were knowledgeable and took great care in addressing my health concerns.The dietitians aptly managed my dietary requirements, greatly enhancing my overall experience. The staff was committed to maintaining cleanliness and following good sanitary practices. I really appreciated their efforts in catering to the needs of the patient and the visitors. My time at Santevita Hospital was excellent. I highly recommend this facility for its excellent medical care, cleanliness, and attention to individual needs.

It's a hospital agreed. However, it's no better than a government hospital charging an exorbitant amount with proper services. There is no concept of respecting patients time. I had my parents come in for an annual check up. We waited for more than 3 hours (11:16 am-2:30pm) to get a pap smear. I reached out to customer relations and nurses several times. I was taken aback by the audacity of nurses and reps telling me that, "Oh this is normal, we usually ask patients to wait till 5 in the evening." We have been here for a simple full body check up. The customer relations was so proud of providing this information that they make patients wait for 6 hours for a full body check up. While I was left shaking my head that this not something to be proud of but rather the hospital should be ashamed of their inefficiency. Better try some other hospital. P.S.- reached at 9:44 am. We left at 3:02 PM. I updated the rating as the hospital was very courteous and reached out promptly.

I had a wonderful experience with this hospital. It was my first experience with the hospital, so I was a bit worried.. but everything here was so perfect and professional whether I speak about the management, the cleaning/housekeeping staff, the nurses and the behaviour doctors maintain with their patients .. my wife used to enjoy talking to nurses, they were so friendly but at the same time very professional to their work.. kudos to the cleaning staff, they comes for room clean atleast 6-7 times a day which I have not seen in any other hospitals.. I hope anyone shouldn't need hospitals of course, but when needed, I strongly recommend this hospital..

I chose Santevita Hospital for the delivery of my first child and my experience was very good. The hospital provided me with best of the services by each department, right from the admission in the hospital at the reception desk till the discharge. They have Very dedicated, knowledgeable and supportive staff in each department be it the Doctors, the nursing staff, dietitians, physiotherapist or the janitorial staff. Everyone supports the patients and the attendants to the best of their capabilities and provide ultimate care to the patients and the management team also takes care of every requirement of the patients and their families.

Will start with Good ambience. Nice up keep as well. But,Front desk and takes a lot of time though. Pharmacy is also very slow, it takes ten to fifteen minutes per customer to buy medicine as per my experience. Support staff is very cooperative though. Competent Doctors are always available at Hospital and takes good care with professional attitude.Parking is a big turnoff though as the place is in very crowded neighborhood and lacs space for full scale parking

Hospital management is very good..... They were very much supportive..... Doctors visit the patient to know about their health condition..... Even in the night doctor once visits the patient to know the health......food provided to the patient are recommended by the dietitian ..... Nurses were 24 hrs available..... Senior nurse also attends the patient... Rooms are cleaned frequently....cleanliness well maintained.....

We had our first baby here, It was a great experience. Many thanks to Dr. Sakshi Singh Mam, She is very understanding and experienced. She always have time and tries to clear even a small doubt of her patients. “We had a normal delivery here under Sakshi Mam supervision” Hats off to Santevita Management for providing such a world class experience in Ranchi. Its very neat and clean hospital with well behaved nurses and staffs. If you are having a baby I will recommend you to come to this hospital, You may get surprise gift too which you can add as a lifetime memory 😊

Well maintained and organized hospital with good facilities. I am glad that I consulted Dr. Sakshi Singh for my pregnancy. She has always been caring and polite. I had my baby through normal delivery under her and team supervision.

Very nice Hospital, behave of Doctors,staffs, nurses, ward boys,menial staffs, lift man and guards* (as they are bounded by rules) are very sweet. They are very polite, sweet spoken persons. Nurses and staffs are available on one button press for 24 hours. Hospital is very clean and tidy. They clean up rooms for about 3-4 times a day. Food given to patients is also good. But they don't allow to carry there own food for attenders at Hospital. Demerit - Only demerit is that they only allow one vistor pass and the behave of guards is very rude.

Worst experience ever...... One star is also for doctor not for management. Posting will not recover the loss I suffered but it will help other people. And the worst part is nurse behaviour. They treat you like you are admitted here for free of cost. They are busy in there paperwork . Inspite of calling many times they hardly pay attention and when you say or ask anything they will reply that we know our work don't teach us.Will never recommend anyone never

My aunt was suffering from Covid. We lost all hopes to find a bed at any hospital. We could find one at Sanevita hospital and thankfully it was the best decision. She was in treatment under Dr. Kumar Nishant. Excellent service from hospital and digilant care from the doctor and staff members.

My friend wife had dilvery last month.Every thing is fine Staff, Doctor and there team Management Everyone have very supportive.One thing I also want and those who belongs to Jain people the type of food stuff.If totaly Veg without Onion Garlic then it's one the best hospital in Ranchi.But This is Management Issue we can't Force or Fermely Belive that they can provide..It's a Suggestion If Possible Then Jain people Are really very happy..

Unfortunately google doesn't provide rating less than 1 because Santevita hospital doesnot deserve even 1 star rating. The problem you will face is that they will never let you talk to the doctor on phone even in the case of emergency. I will suggest to visit other hospitals in ranchi which will charge less and the hospitality will also be better.

Excellent doctors(highly experienced and knowledgeable) really calm and caring. They do spend time with you and provide you excellent care. Supporting staff such as nurses are really nice and caring. They do their job meticulously. Take sometime to check everything properly on your bill. The hospital is usually very prompt in addressing the concerns.

My sister in law was admitted under Dr Kumar Nishant, ICU head. She was having covid and is now fully recovered under his care. Big thanks to him and the whole hospital and staff.

Poor service... Gynaecology team very very poor.,. The most terrible part that for normal delivery doctors do not attend patient.. nurses take care of normal deliveries... Hospital has a scheme where if patient makes his next visit within 10 days of the first visit they are not charged the consultation fee.. now the interesting part is doctors go on leave and if you come on the 11th day u are charged for the consultation fee... So basically they are rulers.. pathetic..

Special call out for Nursing staff, House keeping staff, Hospitality department. They all were outstanding with their professional yet compassionate attitude a much needed skill but easily underestimated. Very happy with their work. Special call out for Consultant doctors, dietitian and physiotherapist whose knowledge and care took care of us really well and kept us well informed and educated for future steps.

I got my second baby delivered at this hospital. One of the best services doctors nurses and facilities. Could not believe that such premium facility existed. Very bad experience for my wife, doctor was too late and no information provided to the patient on how long it may take. Once came Dr Rashmi Rai was in too rush, not much time for the patient to provide details, it was still ok so far. My wife was asked for Blood test and Ultrasound which took hours and when her turn came for ultrasound was told to drink more water which she did and waited patiently for her turn, meanwhile the ultrasound person was gone while patients were still waiting, finally he appeared however on her turn was once again told to drink even more water and very rudely this ultrasound person told her to go at the last of the queue. She came to the hospital at 9AM as per doctors time and even after 5 hours of waiting tests were not completed, too rude staff members, She requested for refund of ultrasound and left the hospital, certainly we will never come back and advise same to others.

Recently I admitted my father to Santevita hospital in an emergency situation. From the time he was admitted to the time he was released after two weeks, the doctors (Dr. Nishant, Dr. Sahu and Dr. Narayan), and rest of the staff (nurses, ward boys, front desk etc etc) members took excellent care of my father. The care, service and responsiveness was world class. We are deeply thankful to the hospital and all the care providers & staff especially Dr. Nishant who guided us through the two weeks and provided excellent personal care and attention that I am used to in the United States. He coordinated with the specialists (Dr. Sahu and Dr. Narayan), explained things patiently to us and helped us navigate through our difficult times. Additionally, the Santevita hospital is a world class facility with all the specialties, staff, expertise, labs etc that makes it so easy for a patient to get the detailed attention and care. Santevita hospital, and Dr. Nishant, Dr.Sahu, and Dr. Narayan get a strong vote of confidence from me.

Overall a good experience. little bit costly. Premises is clean and hygienic. Facilities available here are good. But following points should be improved..... Ultrasound facility is available only on 2 days.It should be available everyday. Nursing staffs are well behaved but in my opinion they should be more skillful.

The best services i have had here. My new born baby and the mother are fine and were taken very good care of. My son who gave birth at your place 20 days ago, has fever today, on a sunday and you refuse to accept him saying pediatrician will not come today as its sunday, there is no one in emergency blah blah blah. It's been quite satisfying experience having treatment in Santavita Hospital 🏥 Ranchi. Situated in the heart of the city this hospital is run efficiently by females. You will find very few male staff members from top to bottom. Clean and aesthetically pleasant environment make this a second home-like place for its patients as well as attendent at an affordable cost. Doctors and nurses are quite deligent, caring, happy-to-help and supportive. I have availed it's services more than a dozen times during last one decade. Specially during COVID pandemic when it was medical emergency every where, Dr. Ashutosh Charan never hesitated interacting COVID Patients and successfully saved hundreds of lives. I appreciate Dr. Nidhi Nikunj who supported all the mothers who preferred to have a normal baby birth when most doctors nowadays are eager to do surgical delivery. My second son was born in Santavita Hospital. Also, I cannot forget recommending Dr. Rashmi Rai who patiently listen to her patients and act very quickly for the appropriate diagnosis. Thanks entire Santavita team!

A good place to heal. The ambience doesn't make one feel like it's a hospital - no "hospital wala smell" and traditional green colour around, which I think works wonders in the healing process. Communication and behaviour of the staff is warm. Also the food, for the attendant, is very good. Recommendations, yes!

Dated-31.07.23 It seems the hospital is not following any visiting hours and no restriction on age and no. Of persons visiting at a time. Maternity patients relatives making noise, shouting at corridor is not at all acceptable. This will disturb other patients who are in critical condition. The security and other staffs are unable to keep them away. Achieving a high standard is easy but difficult to maintain it. This event has happened today between 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm. Can't imagine educated elite people can be so insensitive to conditions of other patients. Kindly look into this and hope the same is not repeated. We rate highly of Santevita in terms of services and hygiene. Hope our expectations are met. Also the hospitals should endeavor in treating all kind of patients equally.

expensive hospital with no respect for social care. Many doctors who visit here are also available outside at a much lower cost. Unnecessary charges they apply, will pressurise to take number saying they don't accept patient after a certain time (but they do),just so to trap you to pay. Staff are helpless to face disappointment of patients but who cares for them.

Good - Hygienic, Good Nursing care. Bad - Charges are not transparent. You will surprised by the bill amount. For C section planned delivery total cost went to 95 thousand for 3 day stay. No complication nothing serious. Management is worse. Front office staffs are very rude. Consulting doctors were supposed to go on planned leave but they did not informed us while doing OPD consultation for Pregnancy. We have to change doctor at last moment from Mukta Narayan to Rashmi Rai. Hospital is very very costly, even costlier than top Bangalore hospitals. Blood bank facility is not there. you have to arrange blood by ourselves. Which I feel illegal as per supreme court. For every c section they will suggest to arrange blood. Detailed review - We are doing regular checkup at near by hospital at Birsa chowk, everything was ok. Placentra was low so we need to go for c section. It was planned. After 30 week we thought to go to consult with Mukta Narayan Mam for check up and LSCS surgery. Mukta mam was supposed to go on planned leave. In OPD no one informed that even after asking for it. For next follow up consultation when we called Hospital then told that mam in on leave. We kind of lost and asked for another doctor and had to change to Rashmi Rai. We consulted with her and she gave us a surgery date and explained everything clearly. She is very good and kind. We liked her. Meanwhile on 26-27 Oct 2021, due to negligence of hospital, 2 mother lost life in normal delivery. we got confused again and consulted with few folks and trusted Rashmi Rai as everything was planned. With God grace all went well, blessed with baby boy on 1st Nov. Billing and Insurance - Currently I am working from home and having Group claim policy for Maternity benefits of 75000. Which is good enough for any hospitals in India. When we consulted with insurance desk at hospital they said its cashless for mother and have to pay for child which can be reimbursed by insurance provider will have separate bill. After final billing - For Mother we got bill as 81500 bill and insurance approved only 62000 and rejected 19500 for consumables(syringe+medicines). We are unable to understand for 3 day how consumables will cross 19500. It was nothing we requested all were came default. Baby was good, doctor suggested to keep in NICU for observation. for one day NICU charges with consultation costed us 14000. Baby was doing good and doctor also agreed. No complication still 14000 bill.

Excellent hospitality. I like this hospital as I am visiting since 2years, doctors and office staff behaviour is polite and good behaviour. Overall it is excellent in hospitality and excellent hospital in Ranchi, jharkhand

I get my stone treatment from SantaVitta Hostpital. Some things are very nice here :- # Nurse Behavior and caring nature. # Clean room and washroom is like 3-4 star hotel. # They do not use oil and spices but still taste is awsome. # Attendant service is also very good, i got one attendant his name is Sujan he was very caring. # OT environment is so chill, those people performed the surgery by playing the song. Some things that i don't like :- # Mbbs doctors who stay in round at night, they have 0 knowledge regarding medical. Nurse are having more better knowledge than only mbbs doctors in Santavitta. Trust me, In my case they don't even know how to insert cathetar pipe inside the sensitive part, i don't know that doc name, he came from RIMS. My consultant doctor name is Anup kr Sahu sir, he did my surgery very well. Thanks.

Worst old service.....I came to took my mother to see Dr Ajay chabra who's timing was 9:30 to 10:30 and now it's 10:53 and the doctor hasn't even came yet...please don't consider this hospital regarding opd facilities

Hospital service is good but the numbering system and waiting time for few doctors is pathetic. Endless waiting and need to spend a whole day to meet the doctor

In terms of care it is one of the finest hospital admission is fast. But when it comes to the discharge there is a issue its very very slow. MRD section may online things as per daily basis rather compiling it on a last day. It may save some time of both hospital and patients.

I had a wonderful experience with this hospital. It was my first experience with the hospital,But last night I got very disappointed. Me and my husband My baby had developed jaundice, so we shifted him to this NICU on doctor's advice. My husband and I went downstairs to check on our baby and saw that the baby was not wearing any clothes, the staff took my baby in one hand and took me to the open area, the temperature there was different from the NICU and inside the room. i was shocked she didn't take care of my baby properly she had unskilled staff she had no way to take care of baby,my baby needed radiator light but she put my baby outside in NICU. So it is a humble request that strict action should be taken against such employees otherwise the rating of the hospital will be reduced due to such employees. everything here was so perfect and professional whether I speak about the management, the cleaning/housekeeping staff, the nurses and the behaviour doctors maintain with their patients they were so friendly. The worst experience that you can have during diagnostic (ultrasound). The management is pathetic and the doctor will keep you in queue for hours without any reason. No valid reason will be given to you and you will be told to just hold for another hour. Poor show of professionalism.

Hospitality is awesome, nurses are very attentive all the staff are so friendly feels like home…. Treatment done by thé doctors and nurses even in midnight… Just some construction noise are there but it will be done eventually…. Overall experience was great and I’ll recommend to choose this hospital for anything a great value for money

Professional staff, good experience in getting package health check. Perhaps better synchronisation and sequencing of tests can reduce the health check duration from 4-5 hrs to 2-3 hrs. Special Thanks to Miss Ankita, Miss Ruby for their reception and coordination. Appreciate Raj Kumar Gupta from lab, he took time and patiently clarified our concerns.

We were asked to come at 9 :30 am. We were the first one to go for ultrasound and they took other patients came after us. We waited till 1pm and even then we were told that it will take time so we asked for refund. . For blood test they charged 4400 that too I had my food ideally it should not happen but looks like they are here for money and not for patients. We came from Gomia and wasted so much time.

I came all the way from noida to deliver my first child in santevita as Ranchi is my home….i came to see Dr. Mukta in OPD and she is totally amazing and supportive doctor.the entire Opd staff was supportive during my every visit to the doctor… the front office staff was not at all supportive on many ocassions. I got really upset when the had to go for surgery the Opd staff was very rude and they were not alloting the room but after sometime with so many hassles the GM Mr. Harish said he will be able to allot room by 6:30 in eve which did not happened.i got the room at around 11pm when my family create a scene at reception and i was delivering my child in OT. One lady from front office Ms.Ruby was supportive throughout that day and with her help that day i got a bed in daycare before going to OT. Few positive things which i found here was OT staff and nursing staff….everyone from both the deptt was so helpful, so supportive that i cant even explain..they made my delivery journey smooth in santevita…from nursing staff i dont remember much names but few names i would like to mention :- neha, saraswati, pyaari, mukul, radha and many more names which i forgot. The house keeping staff was also very supportive throughout..they helped very patiently while changing clothes or while going to the washroom which was very comendable. Just one thing front office people needs to learn is sympathy..they dont know how to sympathise with the patients and the attendant… Rest all is well when ends well and i just hope they make my discharge journey smooth… The best part is owner of the hospital Mrs. Sahu herself came to meet and gave the gift to my baby and took my each and every feedback very positively and said she will work on it. Thank you each and every staff of santevita….

I had a very good experience on this hospital. All the staff members are good. Doctors are good and friendly. If you need support in midnight then nurse comes so quickly and help immediately. Food is also good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOSPITAL AND BEST IN RANCHI.

One of the best hospitals in Eastern region and best in Ranchi. Got a great experience during delivery of our baby girl here. The care from the nurses made us feel at home and it was literally 24×7 service without any follow up needed by the patient or the attendee. I have not seen such efficiency and personalized care in any other hospital. The doctors are very qualified and give lot of attention to each patient . Thank you once again to the hospital management for making this a memorable experience for us and making our stay feel like a staycation ! I feel happy to take this decision of getting our first baby delivered in this hospital .
