Upon comparison with my previous visit in 2021, I am pleased to note commendable progress in both administration and management. The staff and faculty have displayed a high degree of cooperation and dedication in their respective roles.

Hospital locality was nice, it is near by ramgarh ranchi main highway. Cleaning and housekeeping is well maintained. Doctors of this hospital is also good. However, Management of hospital is very weak. All staff's working on randomly basis they don't have idea how to work and what are main things they have to give priority. Need to improve the management.

My brother met with an accident around 8pm and I got him admitted here around 9pm , his situation was quite critical. We have already got the ct scan report which shows no brain injury was there. But the ribs were fractured and the broken part has touched the heart portion, which calls for immediate surgery. In such situations this hospital have left my brother lying in isolation ward without providing any sort of immediate care. My brother was brave, he fought for 18hrs with so much of internal bledding.he was just 34yrs old with two small kids. Hospital didn't allowed us to see him and didn't tell us what they are going to next. Without operating him, they kept him and later on when the pulse started dropping they moved him to dialysis telling his situation is quite critical. Around 3pm next day, they told shamelessly that he is no more. So there was no surgery, no proper treatment, huge bills of food etc though he was unconsious. Request you people to think twice before going to such a low valued..low moral and pathetic doctor's hospital.

Medanta- Ranchi. The worst management and the staff behavior as they are not cooperative or humble at all. Will rarely plan to visit again because of multiple reasons. 1. The Cost is quiet high as compared to other hospital and even on charging a high cost this hospital is not providing a valuable services. 2. Most of the staff there are arrogant and lacks a clear communication. They make you run many places and not answering to basic rights of patient and their attendants. 3. The management process are the poorest as they take a long time for any clearances, billing or Insurance processes. 4. Doctor I visited doesn't willing me to explain the medical process or the basic rights of information i needed. Overall a big shame to this hospital and it doesn't deserve the Medanta tie up or any insurance TPA tie ups. Every thing there is just a money oriented and making the things tougher for patient and their attendants.

Worst experience ever in one of the reputable hospital in Ranchi. My appointment was booked for 2:00pm but the doctor came at 3:30pm. Even after the payment I was waiting for one and half hour to meet the doctor. Although the doctor was good (Dr.Sangeet)but the staffs were arrogant, they were not passing the proper information to the patient. Don’t do business from the patients money. In the time of pandemic also they are not paying attention to sanitisation and hygiene.....very bad.... would have given 0 star if could had Although being from a doctor's family (my dad is a government doctor here in Jharkhand only) then too thet are not bothering to acknowledge.... Worst thing which I experienced is that, unavailability of pre-booking facility for appointment of OPD. People are required to reach same day around 08:00 AM for booking and will not be allowed if prescribed slots of 15-20 patients are booked for respective doctors. It doesn't matter how much distance you travelled for getting appointment. In this regard hospital administration should develop a transparent and systematic program so that people may experience hassle-free facility by paying such handsome fee.

Fail to meet minimum basic protocol of Medenta Delhi. Very bad hospital management. Wash rooms and toilets r very bad. No security checking of vehicles at entry and exit. No display of information boards. Like a fish market. Zero sign board. Main entry gate chocked with vehicles. No medical pharmacy inside hospital. Out side medical pharmacy shops like mushrooms.

The hospital is a giant mess. There is no floor management. Staff fikkd are busy chit chating among themselves rather than helping patients or attendants. No one gives any definitive answers, everything running on "बैठिए ना, आ रहे हैं " or " बैठिए ना, हो जाएगा", and you end up waiting for hours for a thing that should take 5 minutes. There is no professionalism, or sensitivity for patients. You don't see any zeal to save lives here. Everyone just working for salary.

Overall the experience was upto our expectation. Though it's little bit costly but all doctors, nursing and other staff were very polite, professional and helpful. The hygiene, parking, cafeteria other facilities were high standard and there were no place for complain except in few areas. Pharmaceutical were too costly, they been charging exact amount mention on packet, there were no discount on that.

Doctors are good but the hospitality, patient hygiene, fooding, nursing are worst here. Nursing management is poor. My mother was admitted there due to CKD and kept in ICU for 15+ days. She got bed sore but there was no dressing, caring for her bed sore which developed more infection and trauma and contributed in the death of my mother in ICU. All the time she was feeling itching sensations and the nurses tie her from the bed so that she won't scrape using her hands. But they didn't take care of her itching and all. Maintained very bad hygiene of my mother in the ICU ward. No caring. She started disliking the veg food given to her in the ward and refused to take them, so instead of changing the diet, the doctors advised to put food pipe in her nose and provided only liquid food using the pipe. These conditions deteriorate her health to even worst. She became very weak, confused, mentally tired, depressed all the time. When we come to visit her, she started crying and ask us to discharge her. We didn't realize all these during that time and also unaware of her bed sore that time. We came to know about her bed sore at very later time when she started crying due to the pain. There was no proper sanitization for my mother, her skin looks very dry all the time during her stay in ICU. ICU ward in Medanta became a worst horrible nightmare for my mother. I would suggest people to must not keep your patient in that ICU ward for more than 3-4 days otherwise just take your patient to a different better hospital. Doctors must understand the condition/environment in which patient is staying in the ward and suggest for her betterment even if the hospital management is lacking in something. The only thing we regret now is that we trusted the consulting doctor so much. Later, realized that he already given up on her 3-4 days before her death and not communicated with us well enough.

Update: My dad died an extremely painful death due to medical negligence and ignorance from medical staff even though my dad was critical. He had won against stage 3 liver cancer and we spent nearly 20L in AIG, Hyderabad for best treatment. This hospital got my dad Sepsis within a day and did not tell me he contracted Sepsis, neither they bothered to treat him for it. They told me it was due to a failing liver but they knew it wasn't and the doctors and nurses were ignorant towards him. I wish I wasn't in a financial turmoil, otherwise I'd have sued them. Older: MICU visiting time is 8:30-9:00 and 5:00-5:30. This is extremely less time compared to other institutions *No attendants allowed* within MICU if your patient is critical then don't get them admitted here for long time. They WILL get bed sores and probably septic if they're passing urine and stool in bed which they'll not address. My patient was in critical condition and was told to goto another hospital. My cab driver made some calls after which they admitted him. Emergency is a joke. The doctor and nurse were extremely casual.

Good maintenance, Doctor is also too good, In the desk view - Registration process slowly,if you want to visit, kindly visit at least 2hours before.

Hospital is Clean and well maintained especially parking area is well built and very systematic but the doctors are never on time sometimes 2 hrs late...also ill mannered But nursing team is quite responsive. We were made to wait for an hour for registration since the person had gone for lunch and there was no back up. Best no one cared as well. That person came after an hour . Inefficient nurses.my wife admitted in single delux room,her condition deterioted during evening ,I requested to call a doctor ,but they did not give much attention also no doctor came to see her condition,this is the condition of single delux room.I also informed the doctor,but no attention ,her condition deterioted finally she became senseless, Also at time of admit looking her condition no proper test has been done ,after deteriotion ABG test has been done ,doctor also is not taking decision earlier so that proper treatment may be started.Due to such she finally expired. I went to consult Dr. Sanjay Kumar with my father for a second opinion about his bypass surgery at Medanta, Ranchi. Dr. Sanjay Kumar is very polite and knowledgeable, he explained my father's situation in length, the only one thing I did not like there was that he sits in his chamber and patients chair is placed out side the chamber surrounded by other patients and their attendents. I found that setup inappropriate and it was really uneasy to discuss my father's medical condition infront of many strangers. It's a clear violation of patient's privacy which is not allowed by the governing bodies and authorities. I have seen Medanta, Gurgaon but management at Medanta, Ranchi just the opposite and pathetic.

I have treated my father in law there for heart blockage 95% and 85% Dr. Niraj prasad treated him and done angioplasty under Ayushman bharat (PMJAY) at no cost.

The hospital is good, but there are a lot of formalities. It took me 45 minutes to get the number. As it happens in big hospitals, there are all kinds of facilities here, you just need to know which doctor to meet. My experience was almost fine.

This hospital is not that bad but the charges are quite high and I have a request If the attendants who come face great difficulty, at least a bed sheet should be provided for them.

Dr.Awadhesh Kumar Sinha, Suit 319 Very well appreciated for Dr.Tapas Sahoo well behaved and very firm In management, Atanu gave good help in coordinating and support, nursin team also very prompt in work especially thanks to Aftab (Nursing). Overall experience was good need improvement in suit room staffs need to be hired more for fast service.

Today I've visited Medanta Ranchi for my Parents treatment ( Gastrointestinal issue) and we have got the appointment for Dr. Sangeet Sawrav. The OPD staffs are very humble and polite including the Man at the table where we fill up the consultation form. But the thing which makes me very un happy was the behaviour of this Doctor ( Sangeet Sawrav). He was behaving like he do not has much time to spend with the patients. As my parents are senior citizens so they were not able to speak more regarding their problems, so once I started to speak about the issues he started saying- Inhe bolne do! With a high tone which is not acceptable at all. Also he is not polite in his conversation at all. I think that he has taken this dialogue very seriously- " Kabhi Kabhi Aisa lagta hai ki Apun eech Bhagwan hai" 😀😀. So, dear management team of Medanta pls ask your doctors to have some soft tone and polite while dealing with patients. Thanks!

My father was admitted here for his treatment for dengue. Dr. Tapas Kumar Sahu did an excellent job while making sure all the necessary arrangements. The ICU ward was good. However, the suite wasn’t good at all. They need to make it at par with the Medanta standard. Overall, I would rate my experience here good.

Doctors are very well behaved & treat patients with full heart but the hospital management is utterly poor. Not at all customer friendly. Being a premier hospital in the neighbouring states, some patients even come from 200+ KMs away. However, starting from online consultations & scheduling to delivery of lab reports (either soft or hard copy) are simply not accessible, which is mockable.
