Washrooms are cleaned after every use. Security is hassle free. Social distancing norms are maintained, except for Baggage and Check In counters. Specific child care facility is available. Wouldn’t say it is at par for Covid standards, but are clean.

The terminal isn't big but is well maintained and has good connectivity with regular flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. There a couple of eateries after the Security Check area.

Small airport but all facilities are available. Last month I got fainted at airport, ground staff people helped me. They called doctor and she examined and gave me medicine. Staffs are very helpful. Neat and clean airport. Not so many outlets to shop , but food options are available.

A small airport, in comparison to some bigger ones in the country, but has connectivity to almost all metropolises. It is aesthetically elegant and pleasant. The place lacks the shuttle services from the city and the travellers are completely dependent on the app based cab facilities and private taxis.

This is a small airport which has limited domestic flights only. The airport remains closed during the night opens at 5.30 AM in the morning. The facilities are basic and do not have even a lounge inside this airport. The food is unreasonable expensive and not too many options also in terms of variety of food. So, go prepared with your food and water when you travelling from this airport. The airport is clean and tidy though, but needs much more improvement on the basic infrastructure. Needs more options for food and refreshments as well. A lounge inside this will be a welcome addition.

Indigo operates the most frequently but it is more like a general passenger airline that follows absolutely no social distancing or any covid norms. This is a small but well maintained airport for domestic transfer. It connects ranchi with almost every big city. Airport is very neat and clean and facilities are world class. Shopping outlets are very few and food items are very expensive.

The airport has got an upgrade in terms of operations and ambience. No lounge as of now for passengers. Got great connectivity to Bangalore around 6 flights everyday as of 1st April 2023. Eatery options are limited but damn expensive. You might have to sell a kidney to buy food here which was not so expensive until last year.

It is a small airport but has all amenities. It has flights for most of the bigger cities to India. Staff at the airport are courteous. If you are traveling from other place, you will always get private taxis outside the airport.

Birsa Munda Airport Ranchi is much better and all the staff there are very beautiful, they do not hesitate in helping any person, they help everyone in case of any question and help everyone with seat wise.

Nice small airport . Super clean and proper drinking places . Nice to see a feeding room separate from the bathroom with comfortable space . Couldn't find lounge here even though after roaming around the whole level . Though the waiting room is open and quiet.

It's an average size airport handling domestic traffic only. Flights to all major cities in India is available from Ranchi. It is situated within Ranchi city and takes only 15 min from Ranchi main road if normal traffic. Ranchi airport doesn't have any plaza lounge.

One of the worst airports in India honestly. Not because there's no international flights but the airport itself is not good. Firstly every single system is so outdated atleast 20 years old. I never expected an airport to be this outdated. Secondly there's no organization and the staff don't help at all. This airport always has some or the other issue and the flights from or to this airport is ALWAYS delayed. My flight literally got delayed 5 hours. This is unacceptable. Also I don't know why the decor is extremely ugly.

The airport is located outside of the main city; the distance between the city and the airport is around 7-8 kilometres. This is a well-maintained airport, and in terms of safety during the Covid period, they were all neat and shiny, with sufficient equipment, and their facilities are Elite class, as are their staffs. The level of security is exceptional. There are a limited amount of utility outlets accessible.

Very less chair available to sit (exact 33 chairs) ...you have to stand and wait if your flight is delayed or if you arrived early.. washroom was also not cleaned( today 10th Nov ..not sure about other days) Only 1 entry gate which create rush but thats manageable but they should place more chair so that people can sit and wait ..and untill they put your flight status schedule you cant go for baggage checking and cant take boarding pass also you cant go for security and thats create more rush in waiting side and chairs are limited. Airport is neat and cleaned ..cabs are easily available and you dont need to walk much just 10-15 steps from the main gate and you will get cab/auto. Outside no shops available to buy eating stuff ..inside airport before security only 1 shop is there which sells small bags and after security where gates r there ...few shops/stalls are available for food which will cost you more as usual.

Very nice domestic airport located in Ranchi, neat and clean, fast belts, with quite a numbers. Passage is vry convenient to the belts. Having nice food court. Nice Design and beautiful construction. You will love the place. Another good thing is that the airport is not overcrowded. The staff people in the airport are also good who help you. I had a connecting flight from this airport which was from Ranchi to Mumbai and from Mumbai to Dubai. To me it seemed like a better domestic airport than all the other airports Overall overall my experience was good. I Give 4*

Birsa Munda Airport is only airport in Jharkhand that connects you from major cities of our country. It is a cery small and beautiful airport. It is situated just outside the Ranchi city. Visited tgis place withmy family for traivel to Hyderabad. Only hope for Tatanagar residents.

Ranchi Airport, when we say ranchi. Only one name comes to mind. MSD. Dhoni bhai. It's the capital city of Jharkhand. We want to visit Bokaro Steel city. So this is the nearest airport for it. After landing in ranchi, come to know. One can travel to Jamesdpur too. It's a small airport, nicely maintained. There is no private lounge. Only for VIP or govt official there are some lounge. Not accessible to general public. They have several foodstall. Which was over all Good. Indigo and Vistara were happening the presence.

Small and cozy airport with a new lounge that has opened recently. Very few debit and credit cards they accept now like hdfc, icici, idfc first etc. Small buffet with good food. Few coffee shops, local clothing stores, chocolate and book store opened. Jharkhand is Progressing towards its success. Courteous staff at airport with quick check in facility. Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi is a small airport with not much to do. The airport has two floors with a few shops and restaurants, but there's not a lot of variety. Unfortunately, there's no lounge for travellers to relax in either. One thing to note is that when checking in, you have to get your baggage x-rayed before going to the check-in counter. It's not built into the conveyor belt like some other airports. This can cause a bit of a delay and be a bit inconvenient, but it's not too big of a deal. A few years back, the airport wasn't very crowded, but now there are night landings and it can get busy. However, the airport is still relatively small and easy to navigate. Overall, if you're traveling through Birsa Munda Airport, don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. It's a basic airport with just the essentials. However, it's still a functional and convenient airport for those traveling to Ranchi and the surrounding areas.

Birsa munda Airport ranchi is in jharkhand state of India. The land of very decent people. Airport is not too much big but very beautiful. on airport u cand find jharcraft showroom on first floor (jharkhand hand made art and craft) and on 1st floor ua can avail cafeteria.

Small airport but you can get flights for maximum big indian cities. Ground staffs are cooperative. Only issue with check-in process, due to less counters one has to spend nearly half an hour in queue. No lounge for CC holders. It has less connectivity with city transport so you have to dependent on ola/auto.

Small, yet very efficient. I had recently fractured my leg and they took utmost care making sure i was all right, not just while i traveled but also at the airport. The cooperation of all the staff was wonderful and flawless. Have been to this airport to fly to and fly back several times, and never had i ever been faced with any unnecessary issue.

Definitely a tinge of VIP culture when we enter the Airport entrance. As we ordinary people are given non reserved places to disembark the vehicle and enter. Other things are ok. Quick security check... food is so so, as there are limited outlets and limited choices. 5 star because it's less crowded and having relatively new infrastructure to support passenger traffic.
