Here you can find the beauty and the Pollution both are directly proportional to each other. In simple words this place is one of the most scenic and beautiful place in the town but the rate of water pollution is also very high. Pollution caused due to drainage of unnecessary waste in the lake. Need to clean and properly manage the lake. Overall it is good and satisfactory for nature lovers. Visit once for your own satisfaction and experience. Thanks 😊

Ranchi lake is situated in heart of Ranchi town,it is a big lake surrounded by pitch road in one side it touched upper bazar, other side it has Marwari College, where walls panting of we love Ranchi and many more wall panting are very beautiful and attractive it can by entered from bypass road.A big construction has been made in middle of the lake with a pathway upto embankment to upper bazar side. The new Status of Swami Vivekananda installed in the middle of the lake is center of attraction!! It is a good place for visit & evening walk, This is one of the best places to visit in Ranchi. It gives you a much-needed beautiful sunset . At night it gives a beautiful view of light reflection in the lake. #weloveranchi

Ok place to spend some time. Not maintained well enough. Path to Vivekanand statue is blocked. Lake water is very polluted and so much waste floating around. Still I like the serene beauty. Pahari mandir is visible and adds to the beauty.

Located at the base of the majestic Ranchi hill, this lake was constructed in the year 1842 by a British National Colonel Onsely. It is centrally located and has boating facilities. Being well-maintained by the authorities, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed evening and is ideal for picnics. The Ranchi hill itself is a popular tourist destination, it also has a Shiv Mandir at its top and one can get a panoramic view of the entire city from there.

It is one of my favourite😍 Place in Ranchi. A place which allows you to meet yourself in all alone 😌.Best place for jogging or spending peaceful time. Now it is almost completed .Once it will complete totally , it will be more beautiful and it will attract more visitors. Only thing I don't like about Ranchi Lake that drainage water falls in it which makes the water of Ranchi Lake impure and dirty. So,the water of the lake must be cleaned in regular intervals.

Ranchi lake is one of the oldest lake of ranchi. This is situated just in the heart of the city. Previously this was just an lake but nowadays this has become tourist attraction after govt has taken initiative by placing waterfront statute of Swami Vivekananda. some times boating is also available. The scenic beauty is good. But, need more cleanliness is required for the place.

I've been living in this area since my childhood and I'll make an analysis and give my reviews. The place is heavily under development. The perimeter is already paved into a wide spacious walking area. It's beautiful for sunsets and walks. Although the reason ive given it a 3 star is because of the crowd this place has. Very often it has been observed that this place has groups of young jobless people roaming around bullying and even stealing things from others especially after dark. Its sad to type this but it's not a safe place for girls to go alone.

Swami Vivekananda statue is there but this place can be made more attractive by adding sitting arrangement for people, maintaining cleanliness of the surroundings and the lake water.

Ranchi Lake is a very famous lake in Ranchi, located on the majestic hill at an elevation of 2140 feet above sea level, built-in 1842 by Colonel Onsley, a British national. This place is also known as a picnic spot for tourists. There is also a temple of Lord Bholenath near this calm and serene lake.On its edge, you can see many birds and boating facility is also available here, and it proves to be a thrilling experience. Come with family and friends and enjoy picnic and boating. The site can be reached through auto and other public transport from the railway station.

This place boasts a beautiful lake, and I've been coming here for cycling for several days. It's a serene and picturesque location where you can unwind and enjoy the evening. While it tends to get a bit crowded in the evenings, the view is absolutely stunning. The scenic beauty more than makes up for the crowd, and I enjoy my cycling trips here. It's a wonderful place to relax and connect with nature.

Lying at the foothills of the verdant Ranchi Hill, Ranchi Lake is a prominent tourist site in the city. An ideal retreat, it provides visitors boating opportunities, a perfect way to explore the natural beauty of its surroundings. The lake was built in 1842 by a British national, named Colonel Onsely. Tourists can also hike to Ranchi Hill, which houses a Shiva temple. From here, tourists can get a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. Tourists can also enjoy a picnic on the banks of the lake. The best time to visit the lake is during monsoons, when it looks like a pristine diamond set into a crown of emerald green. Offering a beautifully unique experience, Ranchi Lake is a must-visit spot while visiting the city Ranchi lake is situated in heart of Ranchi town,it is a big lake surrounded by pitch road in one side it touched upper bazar, Nagarmal modi Sevasadan, other side it has Marwari College.it can by entered from bypass road.A big construction has been made in middle of the lake with a pathway upto embakment to upperbazar side.It is a good place for visit & evening walk

Overall good place to do a morning walk. I used to go here regularly for morning walk. The maintanence of the lake is not very good. You will feel some smell in water of the lake around it. But still it's a good place for a morning walk.

Now Ranchi lake aka Bada Talab has been designed and made it look more beautiful than it was. Ranchi lake is known as Heart of Ranchi. You are willing to visit this place then I would suggest you to visit on Chhath Puja in the evening. You will amazed.

Construction Not yet completed, work in progress so no cleanliness maintained there. You will find good view there but no arrangements available for sitting and spending more time.

It was a really beautiful place especially because of the statue of Swami Vivekananda. The road was quite busy so it's a little hard to navigate but overall a very pleasing experience.

The place was really good when built. But due to no maintenance the place is not worthy. Local authority must tak care of it. If it would have been in kolkata, crores of revenue could be generated through different amusement.

Located at the base of the picturesque Ranchi hills, the Ranchi lake is the perfect spot for a lazy brunch or a relaxing afternoon boat ride. Constructed in the year 1842 by Colonel Onsely, its charm still remains intact, making it one of the best places to see in Ranchi. The fact that it is quite well maintained further adds to its appeal. Most locals and tourists enjoy indulging in a picnic at the banks of the Ranchi Lake, especially during the winter months when the sun acts as a respite from the cold.

This spot is very beautiful. There is a statue of Swami Vivekananda near the lake. There is a pathway constructed around the lake as well as some benches for tourists. Although the lake needs regular cleaning.

The location is good but the water remains dirty and smells too. Evening view is quite good but the disturbing part is some local people who visit there they use to smoke. That's why I avoid visiting there regularly
