This place is very beautiful. The resorts is well maintained. They have shops inside it where you can buy some local artifacts, you can also do boating and horse riding here. It's a great place to enjoy with freinds and family.

Nice place within 50 KM from Ranchi. One can take a Cab and reach there. You can take boating experience here (at your own risk). Very entertaining place for children specially during December & January.

Very bad hotel. Management is pathetic.There is scarcity of staff morover the staffs are very rude. Room delivery is not available nor also on request. The restaurant service is horrible. The hotel location is very good. However, it is very poorly maintained. Becarefull before booking for the hotel infrastructure is attractive and good but the hotel is a ghost hotel with limited workers and rude management

The lake has mesmerizing beauty, you can fall in love with nature over here. Boating facility is available in two option: manual boat and motor boat. The water is very clean and one can certainly avail a boat trip to relax and enjoy away from the city life.

Being a government resort, I expected the prices of the rooms and food to be reasonable but it was quite expensive. It is just called the lake resort, but didn't have any rooms with lake view. The outer walls of the rooms had huge honeycombs and the lady at the reception was very rude.

We didn't stay here, but we went for an evening. The club offers multiple water related activities like kayaking, speed boat rides and many more. The ambience is good and the area is well maintained. The reason I'm writing this review is to caution people about kayaking in the lake. When the speedboat runs in the lake it creates a series of waves in the water which creates turmoil within the kayak, making it very dangerous and can also turn the kayak upside down.

I liked the place. There's a huge lake, we purchased tickets of ₹750/- for 5 people for speed boat ride. It will go and take one round. First they said 15 min ride, then taking one round for 6 min told us to vacate the speed boat. There are different rates for different water rides. But I found our's to be very expensive. At least for 15 min they could have given us a ride. But it was fun and enjoyable. They gave us life jackets. There is nothing much to be seen apart from the lake and one top view point of the entire Patratu valley. Overall it was nice. I would recommend all to go.

We visited there for a corporate party, starting with entry area very wide n parking was huge, location wise good near to the patratu valley, the resort is attach with patratu dam. Resort has a personal n swinging pool, huge sitting area or option in the pool area, music system also there. Views are awesome to the dam n valley, just awesome, Most amazing views are noticed from the 1st floor balcony area. Dining area is also good, at a time so many people's are sitting together. Decoration- just wow, In the entry one eagle statue is there, which is made by steel spoons🥄🥄 and forks, wonderful creativity. So many meaningful painting r inside the resort. For children's hanging swings are there. I recommend to the all tourist n nature Lover's must visit there. 🙂🙂

Boating options available @ Rs. 300 (open boat), Rs. 750 (shikara), Rs. 750/1500 per boat (speed boat from boat club). Park is good for kids and a lot of play setups are available. Nice place to go with your friends and family (specially kids) entry fee is Rs. 20 per person.

This is great place to enjoy with your family, friends or kids. Inside the park there is boating options. So many things for kids. You can visit this place on weekends. The entry charge is ₹ 20. I would suggest you to carry cash instead of being dependent on upi or card payment.

Rooms and bed sheets were unclean. No complimentary breakfast. At the price they charge 3400 per room plus 560 for a kid of 10 years (even without an extra bed or mattress). It's insane to charge this amount. Food is sub-optimal. Its mostly delayed and mistakes in a long order. Staff behavior is very rude. This is something I cannot tolerate. Vacation is a luxury and guests, I believe, need good care for the money they spend. These staff show their rudeness for the reason they have govt jobs and as if nothing is going to happen to them. I would recommend people to visit Patraku from rna day trip as there are not good options to stay in Patraku. Please consider staying in Ranchi and visit here during the early morning.

We have checked in on January 13, had lunch but did not order any dinner. Our driver was not offered any room after promise and he had to spend the night in the car in this cold weather. At breakfast they catered to their special guests but nothing to offer for any others. Truly substandard service, would not recommend it for anyone!!!! Management lacks customer service or a mere apology👎👎👎👎👎

We enjoyed our one night stay at the resort with good food and good staff. The service crew were a bit lazy and were not able to serve up to the mark but they were utmost kind in nature and flexible too.

Most friendly and helpful staff, generally small but luxury rooms , we had a wonderful and memorable time here, excellent food and superb service, the river view is stunning. Amazing experience and would love to come here again and again.

Great place to stay just beside the Patratu Lake. Room is excellent. Awesome view. Food service takes time. For 1 or 2 nights it's a picturesque place to stay. Lawn restaurant is also awesome.

Situated roughly 30 km from Ranchi city centre. The road leading to the resort is in excellent condition. Drive is scenic and relaxing especially through Patratu valley. The resort is well maintained and various swings and slides are for kids and parents alike. Separate zone for adventure and boating is there to engage the grown-ups. All in all, it's a great place to visit.

This place is amazing for short trip. There are so many valley and view points for mountain view. Also there are a big family resort and park just beside a big lake. Here you can ride a boat or float in the small boat. That place is so beautiful.

I just love the place..the lake resort is situated at the bank of the lake. You can take a trip by walking to the lake from the resort. The lawn of the resort is the most attractive place. The ambience is so romantic. The resort is family friendly. I visited the place with my husband and have a great weekend. The food was great. All the staff are very helpful and cooperative.

Best place to go for a short trip. Patratu lake resort is a government establishment. The food are tasty. Try fish masala, they cook with local lake fish. The garden area reminds kashmir type garden with green lawn, trees, parks... There are boating adventure also Beautiful❤

Never get swayed by its looks & upkeep. Pathetic services. They often keep the lift service suspended but will allot you a room on the 3rd floor. Will keep the ACs off even during hot summer, with laughable excuses like genset getting refueled. AC remotes AR without batteries so that you can not control room temp. Restaurant non functional, but taking booking happily.

Worst service in india, a perfect reflection of the culture of the state. Actually the people engaged here are from local and are performing as per their knowledge. A perfect reflection of a backward state. Don't go there otherwise your vacation will be spoiled by requesting for services then arguing for the same then lastly not getting them. Such a nice place but getting deteriorated day after day. The management needs to pay attention. Washrooms are stinking. People litter everywhere and no one gives a damn.

We booked a deluxe room, and discovered that none of the rooms are lake facing, quite disappointed. The room is a bit tidy. Very slow restaurant service and no proper filtered drinking water.

Patratu Lake Resort is a beautiful place for both the young and the adults. There is ticket counter at the entrance. One can also bring kids here as there are lots and lots of amusements and the kids will really enjoy. Not only the kids but the young ones will also enjoy the amusements. There is also boat riding. Two types of boat riding is available there, one can opt for anyone or both according to their choice. You can spend a whole day there watching the mesmerizing view. The sunset & the sunrise must be very mesmerizing there, though I didn't had the time to wait till the susnset there, but I will suggest everyone to wait atleast till the sunset there to watch the eye-thrilling view. Restaurant is also there, so one can have food there with very reasonable rates and the taste is also very good, just like home-food. Coming to the cleanliness, the restaurants, the washrooms and the place is very clean. Many washrooms are available there, except for few washrooms which were little dirty, others were well maintained. The restaurant is also very clean & they have maintained hygiene. In short, the place is very beautiful, & I would suggest to visit it.

A very beautiful lake resort at Patratu Valley of Ramgarh District in Jharkhand. It's nearly 45 km away from Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. We went there to enjoy the sunset. We also enjoyed boating at the lake surrounded by the hills of Dalma Range. Although we have not stayed there overnight, but a night's stay at the resort may be more thrilling.

It was a day trip Patratu. Had our lunch at Sarover Vihar. Good food at reasonable prices and good and quick service too. Very nice place around lake. Had this been in other state they could have made it a national tourist attraction. Jharkhand tourism department should make aggressive efforts to make sure it happens anytime soon.

Nice, calm quiet place.. good to be with family.. food quality is good and the prices are also reasonable.. 2 primary issues we faced was the services are really slow and not all the time they would deliver it to the room (you have to go to the kitchen and will have to get it yourself) and washrooms are not attached to rooms, there are common washrooms. Overall it was a pleasant experience..

It was a beautiful place. I reached there during tour. Several types of entertainment facilities were present. View of lake was very beautiful. Then rain started and disturbed our mood.

A very good place for a trip. They should focus on cleanliness. There are common bathrooms for dorms which were not cleaned properly. It's a resort, amenities like wifi , tv and complimentary breakfast were not there. Towels and toiletries are basic needs which are also not provided

I really had a great time with my family here. Wonderful scenic location. You can spend some quality time with your family. Your kids can enjoy the park. Boating is available here and is chargeable. The sunset view is really amazing but for this you will have to go to the other side of the resort. This is a very huge place.

Excellent resort, very close to Ranchi and located above Patratu Dam. We had a dormitory room and the bathroom was common. Food is very good, tasty and affordable. Very clean but service is very slow.

Nice place for locals but nothing great for outsiders. This type of tourist spot available in every state, so wasn't worth going there. It's was like zoo, only difference was you are gonna watch only 2 leged animals with glasses 🙄

The place was very good, here you can enjoy with your family's and friends. Here you can enjoy water sports specially. Here you can eat different types of food items and etc.

The place is wonderful. Sightseen is just awesome. If you need some relief from stress this is the place u wanna be. Good for children also plenty of stuffs to play with nice food counter and not to mention the street foods outside is just fantastic. Booting is also very enjoyable.....
