Great coffee spot in Palm Springs! Upon walking in I was met with a (surely longer than usual?) line but I waited it out. Worth it. Great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and seemed unaffected by the busyness which was nice. My americano was delicious, with tasty notes coming through well. The vegan burrito wasn’t anything to write home about but was definitely satisfying. Not the cheapest, but matches the value received. Overall, would highly recommend!

I had been following this place on insta since before they opened, so was excited to ck them out. We were able to temp park rt in front, but probably because it was a weekday afternoon & overall PS was pretty quiet. I saw a salted maple matcha on insta that sounded perfect for our drive back to LA. The barista was super friendly. He said they were out of the maple tho, so we settled for the cinnamon matcha instead. Barista was exactly what you want when going into a cafe. Welcoming, personable, friendly. You could tell by the few others that came it while there, he was like this to everyone. Cafe is really cute & stylish. Look forward to actually being able to sit inside here and drink from real cups one day. Matcha was good...was really excited to try the salted maple tho. The cinnamon one needed sweetener. I just read they do stamp cards. I would have started one had I known as we go out to PS often to visit my uncle. Would recommend checking them out esp on way in or out of PS as they are on the North end of the 111. You can take a peek at the stylish, new Arrive hotel next door as well.

Great coffee, nice spot! Overall, one of the best places for coffee I visited during my recent trip to Palm Springs, yet I still felt like their prices ran a slight bit on the high side compared to other roasters I have visited with similar quality.

One of the best coffee shops we have been to. The pour over was made using Chemex (my personal favorite method) and tasted bright and fruity. The CCL was also delicious- a perfect compliment to the pour over. We would definitely come back.

Great coffee but hate when I request my americano “for here” that it comes in a tall glass. Pretty sure I burn my hands each time even if I do grab napkins to wrap it in and carry from point A to B. Also, coffee is so good in porcelain 😉 Everything else is awesome

The best coffee I've had in 7 years! The moment I approached the door I smelled good quality, roasted coffee. I had oat milk cappuccino. First sip tested like heaven. Smooth, velvety. And, what's very important to me, the taste it leaves in the mouth after you drink the whole cup. And it was SO good... Truly delicious!

Delicious specialty coffee! The barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a cappuccino and some beans to go for pour over which were incredible. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tasty cup of coffee!

Before I end my weekend in Palm Springs, I decided to check out another local coffee shop. Cartel was highly rated so I decided to give it a try. I wasn't sure where to park and ended up in the Arrive hotel parking lot in the back street, walked around the pool and get to the front street again where the entrance to Cartel is. Arrive Palm Springs looks like a really nice place to hang in Palm Springs. Will have to check it out in future visit. Now back to the coffee shop, the coffee was good but I don't find it particularly strong. The almond croissant was nicely baked and crunchy. I enjoyed the croissant more than the latte. The store itself is relatively smallish but its not super busy so plenty of seats. I will definitely keep this place in my back pocket and give a try again if I am in the neighborhood and get a parking spot up front.

Nice ambiance and great coffees! Been here a few times and the quality of the coffees was very consistent. Not gonna lie but the chocolate croissant we had there one morning didn’t seem to be fresh though.

Cartel served the best coffee we had in Palm Springs - well-made, properly balanced iced latte and a tasty cold brew. We bought a bag of beans as well that turned into excellent coffee at home. Staff were nice, place was small but comfortable and modern, with 6-8 tables inside and a few more out front (although with no shade).

Home to some of my favorite espresso in Palm Springs! Love the intimate atmosphere. Wait times are reasonable. Staff is kind. Prices are fair.

I really liked this place! I ordered the matcha late and it wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. My sister said the coffee was great and went down smooth. They also get burritos from the hotel/restaurant next door. The BPE burrito was SO good! The bacon made all the difference with some secret smoked flavor. I also bought some coffee beans to take home. I’ll be visiting again next time I’m in Palm Springs :) 5 stars for sure!

I had an iced honey lavender matcha. Really really tasty drink. Like getting a double take from that pretty girl on the subway. Fast friendly service and a chill atmosphere

This coffee shop has a cozy ambiance and an extensive menu with a wide range of delicious coffee options. The signature latte is one of the best I've ever had, with perfectly steamed milk and rich, bold espresso. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the shop is committed to sustainability. Highly recommended for coffee lovers!

The barista made a latte instead of a cortado. He did offer to remake it though.

HIP SCENE - STRONG BREWS. Stopped by for an iced green tea and a Matcha. Added a sweet treat from the counter. Very cool coffee spot next to the Arrive Hotel. Even with the place being very busy, the staff was super friendly. Will be going back tomorrow morning!

Can't miss coffee shop in Palm Springs! We went here every day on our honeymoon and every latte we had was the perfect latte. We bought a couple of bags of coffee to take home and they were fabulous! Staff was so kind and knowledgeable.

Cartel Roasting Company receives their beans from their main roasting facility in Arizona. The beans are fresh and the espresso was strong, and properly comes with a side of sparkling water. Nice little spot on the way into Palm Springs.

Best coffee in town by far with the kindest staff. Big old sweeties! I really adore places that have a chill vibe even when it’s busy. That’s conviviality at it’s best. (If you have Celiac like I do, be a tad careful as they’re very proud of their in-house oat milk. They almost put it in my coffee, but then when I reiterated my allergy they were extremely nice and labeled mine to be sure that I didn’t get sick.) But seriously, if they were mean I would still come because the beans are dope. So velvety.

I am a admitted abuser of coffee and the coffee here is amazingly waiting to be abused. Ordered: Flat White, Oat Milk Matcha Latte and Toasted Coconut Oatmeal Five stars!

One of the best oat milk lattes I have ever had. I have been to many local coffee shops, including some incredible ones in NYC. This was superb! The vegan breakfast burrito was delicious too. And I tried a bite of my mom’s lemon poppyseed scone - yum! Also loved the relaxed atmosphere and the good vibes from the baristas.

Excellent coffee shop, highly recommend to stop by if you are in town. The energy of the girls in the counter says it all, amazing pours and vegan scones!
