Memo’s famous sushi rolls were flavorful and delicious. The tempura rolls were great, too. This is arguably one of the most unique sushi experiences I have ever had - and I loved every second of it!

First time being here and the plates we got really disappointed us. We thought the good reviews were accurate. When we walked in the sushi chefs welcomed us really great and when we left as well. They have servers who were not professional and argued with the customer instead of apologizing for the situations in front of us. Our server just gave us one mini apple juice for the little one for 3.50 and were expecting another bottle at least and got nothing ( not worth getting at all). We didn't get any refills on our drinks even though we had our empty cups on the edge to be refilled on an empty day where two customers were there before us. They need an update on the broken dishes so no one touches it and gets cut. It's a really small restaurant but I don't mind it. Yakisoba beef was so burnt and the sauce was really bland with over cooked noodles and raw vegetables. All the sushi we got was drenched in sauce that we couldn't taste the fish which is the star of the dish. It wasn't rolled properly and once we started eating, the roll was falling apart. It's not traditional sushi but it is unique with a Mexican flare to it. The calamari and the gyozas were excellent and recommend it only. We got a complimentary dish that we weren't expecting but was decent.

Have you ever watched the food channel network and say to you’re self wow that looks really good I wish I can go to some place like that. Well if you’re looking for sushi, Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki then this is it! It is generously well priced and the presentation is outstanding! The taste is 10/10. Our waitress was very knowledgeable & quick to answer our questions about certain foods. We were very satisfied, experience - 5 star, taste - 5 star, and presentation- 5 star. We will be coming back here more often!

Had a good experience here. Sushi is somewhat a fusion with a Latin twist.

The music was kicking from the 90s. Great sushi and they gave us a sunset roll to try and it was amazing. A deep fried California roll. The #7 bento box was huge. The chicken was a bit hard but it tasted good. The house special was amazing and rated 10/10 by the family. A nice clean place. Highly recommended.

Review of Memo’s Sushi As a sushi lover, I was excited to try Memo’s Sushi, known for its unique Mexican twist on sushi. The staff’s warm welcome was a great start to our visit. My wife and I ordered three sushi rolls - two cooked and one raw. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up: we received two raw rolls and one cooked. When we asked to swap a raw roll for a cooked one, the manager refused, saying it was too late since the rolls were already served. This lack of flexibility in customer service was surprising and disappointing. Regarding the food, the cooked sushi roll was excellent, with flavors well-balanced and delicious. However, the raw rolls didn’t impress us as much. They were overly seasoned with Tajin, overpowering the sushi’s taste. The cilantro sauce also didn’t add much to the dish. The fusion of Mexican and sushi flavors, in this case, didn’t work well for us. Overall, Memo’s Sushi has potential, especially with its cooked offerings. But the experience was let down by poor customer service and some dishes where the flavor fusion was too much. A more subtle approach to blending Mexican and sushi flavors, along with better customer service, could make a big difference. My rating is positive but cautious, reflecting these mixed experiences.

Great place and staff. Everyone were super friendly and courteous. We got seated pretty quickly being it was a full house. Ambience felt comfy and home-y for my group to the point that we over stayed a bit after they closed. We ordered the #1 bento box, popcorn lobster (I think that's what's called), and two appetizers (gyoza and calamari) and we didn't know how to finish it. The bento was huge and we split it 3 ways with our appetizers and lobster meal that were also a great amount. Great food and would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi. Picture 1: miso soup that comes with the bento box and a comp sushi plate that they gave us Picture 2: popcorn lobster with it's sushi rolls underneath and yes the orchid flowers are edible :) Edit 2023: Still honestly great. Was empty around the time we went (8ish) and was able to sit anywhere so we sat in the patio. We had bento #1 and #3 and with the four of us we were barely able to finish the whole thing. It's so much food. We also ordered popcorn lobster as our appetizer. They also gave us an on the house plate what looked like stuffed chile rellenos and that was hella tasty so I'll grab that as an appetizer next time. So glad all the food was nice and hot since it was nice and chilly outside so it was a great experience.

Been here once last year and loved it! Came back again this year and its still great! Great service, and large portions at a reasonable price. I got the volcano roll amd the lobster roll, both absolutely decadent and delish! Cant wait to come back next year!
