I wanted to try out the gym before I commit to a membership. So I went to the website and saw the is a 3 day free pass to this location. I signed up and I showed up. I was told by the the guy at the front desk we don't accept 3 day pass here because we are not open 24 hours. Try the other location on Navajo he says they are open 24hrs. I said then why is it showing on your site for this offer? He says I don't know I can only let you in today. Let me see an ID and the confirmation. Why ask for confirmation when he just said we don't accept it? Plus they had the nerve to call me and say what membership I want to sign up. I am definitely not signing up there. It is packed with people and they don't clean after themselves.

EDIT: They refunded my card and made things right. Giving this gym another shot. Was able to renew for $300 instead. Unsure why they lowered the price. Maybe because it's not 24 hours anymore. I've been going here since 2018 and always paid for the yearly prepaid membership. I canceled my yearly membership on October 29th when it renews every year on November 14th. I told the front desk to cancel my yearly on 10/29/22 and the guy said he will cancel it for me. Fast forward to Nov 14th and I get charged $380 on my card. I called yesterday morning discussing the issue and the lady said she'll get a manager to call me back. No manager called me back. I called customer service today and they told me I cannot cancel my membership and to pretty much kick rocks. I will be disputing this with my credit card company. You lost a loyal customer 24, you did. I was going to come back too.

Pluses: I like the layout of the gym overall. Lockers are up front which leads to the pool/jacuzzi/sauna/steam room. Also, lots of equipment! Classes: The cycling class on Sunday is intense! Instructor is motivating and the class definitely pushes you to the limit as long a you HIIT that +. Definitely recommend! Sunday Zumba class is fun. You’ll definitely find out if you have two left feet quickly. I’ve never taken a dance class, if you are a novice do yourself a favor and find a spot in back because they do not break down the steps for you. I did not wear my contacts and I felt like I had a rubber neck trying to watch the instructor in the front, best if you just watch one of the regulars because they got the steps down. Either way I kept laughing at myself and it should be a judgement free zone. Female dominated class but cool to see some men feelin’ themselves :) Minuses: Not open 24hrs. Not eligible to use free 3 day passes (it’s a busy gym) Haven’t seen many patrons do a wipe down after they use equipment (if ya sweat drips…it’s courteous to wipe it down) Some elliptical machines need maintenance. Overall: Solid gym. Employees are friendly and has all your basic gym needs!

I just don't get it, how is it possible to be called "24hr fitness " if they close at 10pm and opens at 5am. It doesn't make sense to me. What I think is that the gym should remain open 24/7. Or am I wrong?

The blonde girl with the blue or green eyes who works the front at night, should be taught some customer service skills. Its ok to hate your job but at least get basic customer service skills down.

I lost my phone and told the people at the reception desk and they did not care at all. I asked them if they could at least communicate it via intercom that there’s a missing phone (it’s the least they can do?) and they SMIRKED at me? I was in a panic state and the workers added to it. Blonde chic (she looks mixed) with curly hair and a bulky dark browned hair man were very patronizing and insulting. Unprofessional and lazy workers.

Too much people just open 24 hours everything is back to normal why the gym is still closing at 10 pm ? Plus dirty gym no tools to clean and when u ask them for the tools to clean the bench they say leave it thank u its okay because they want germs to have a good workout lol….

I went to Carmel Moutain 24 hr fitness, and it wasn't even a Super Center, and the equipment was in great working condition and clean. The elliptical at El Cajon are always squeaking, old, peeling, and equipment doesn't even match. This gym also has very few cleaning stations, and people don't wipe down machines as often. Why do we get subpar equipment and gym?

If I could give zero starts I would. If you’ve never been to prison before this is the closest experience you’ll get. Guys will walk around shirtless and shadow box try to intimidate high schoolers. Most of the people smell horrible and don’t clean stuff after they drench with their sweat and disgusting odor. Came here for 3 weeks and never coming back again.

This may not be an absolute favorite 24hr gym, but what I'm reading about the other in/or near El Cajon, this 1 is much better. I was going to chk the other 1 out, but based on the reviews, i won't .

TODAY, MY FRIEND WENT TO THIS 24 HOUR AND AS SHE WAS CHECKING IN, A MALE WORKER WORKING THE FRONT DESK AROUND 6 Am STOPPED HER AND ASKED FOR I.D BECAUSE SHE DIDNT “LOOK” LIKE HER NAME WAS BELLA. She calmly offered to get her ID from her car to prove her name was Bella. He then told her that wasn’t necessary while still making comments that she doesn’t look like a Bella insinuating she should have a man’s name. He was beyond disrespectful and ignorant. He could have asked in a more polite way instead of attacking her about how she “looks”. The entire conversation was discriminating and made her feel completely uncomfortable.

I really enjoy this gym. The desk staff are super helpful and the place has all the amenities!! The classes are fun and all the machines are clean and work! Oh and the place is clean too!!

That gym smell horrible all the time and I can't believe they let in sick 🤮 people with covid... and always looking dutie the machine are horrible and nasty people don't even clean the machine when finish using... I will never go back to that one again yuckkkkk the one on main Street in el cajon city....

Jessie was honest and full of kindness and integrity. You don’t see that much these days, and I can’t express how much he helped me in my situation. I hope management recognizes him for all he does. Thank you Jessie!!!
