Starting a journey of working on self is never a easy one . It can be hard to face your troubles head on . The patience , safe space and guidance given by my practitioner is truly making a whole lot of a difference . I haven’t been here for long and I am very hopeful that this is the right place for me to be at . The centre has an all-round energy of care & support. I’ve found a home.

My daughter was struggling at school. The assessments were done professionally and compassionately. The results and feedback really assisted us in making decisions for my daughter. Her end of year report saw a 20% improvement in her results across all subjects. Thank you Therapy Works.

Very friendly at face value. Made an appointment and got no appointment confirmation. Tried communicating with them and despite multiple efforts to resolve the matter, I was eventually told to find other means of help unless I pay extra for an appointment that was never confirmed. I initially wrote a summary review of my experience because I honestly did not want to write a novel however the response I got has necessitates that I do. First of all, I explained to 3 different people that I did not get any confirmation. In my first interaction I expressed that myself and a partner would be the one's pursuing the service. I was told that the initiator of the service would need to be contacted for the initial appointment and was further asked to produce her details. I did exactly that and never heard from the centre again. According to my understanding that made sense because the centre was in direct communication with my partner who does not live with me. A few days after what I assumed was the appointment date I got in contact with my partner who told me that she did not receive confirmation and that infact all the digital contact that she had received from the centre had vanished from her phone. This then led to her accusing me of arranging scammers which obviously put further strain on the already stained relationship. I resolved to do the logical thing which is to call the centre and find out what happened. I was told that they had contacted her. I then explained that she says she did not receive any confirmation. I was told that even though I was the one who booked the appointment, the initiator is the only one who receives the confirmation and that there was no need to contact me. I explained that she says she did not receive any confirmation either. I was then told that I would need to make another appointment and make a payment prior to my next appointment. I then explained that I live in COJ plot lands which are literally physically IN MIDRAND yet not in walking distance of commercial facilities. I further explained that I only have cash on me and would not be able to send any form of electronic transfer because any bank would be FURTHER from me than the actual centre. Eventually I suggested that I will make the sacrifice of coming to make the payment in person provided that I can get the appointment on the same day because I can not travel inland and back to the plots multiple times. I don't know what other language to use to express that they are physically the closest help to me! That's when I was told to seek help elsewhere. I mean I get they want to be paid prior and I was willing to arrive 4+ hours to make that payment provided the appointment would be on the same day. I sincerely appreciate the kind worded response but I don't see how the doors are open to me anytime when I told the centre I am willing to arrive early to make the payment and book the appointment then sit there all day until the appointment time to ensure that the prior misunderstanding (which I also can not attest to as I was not directly contacted) does not occur provided I can make the appointment on the same day I make the payment and was still told to find help somewhere else which essentially means somewhere further.

I have had the most incredible experience at Therapy Works. I have found an amazing therapist that is a perfect fit for me. Sine has helped me navigate my life through depression and is continuously helping me through my journey with anxiety. She has been the best thing that has ever happened to me with regards to my life and mental well-being. The space peaceful, safe and welcoming and it feels like a safe-haven. I cannot recommend this centre enough!

It’s been 6 months since I have started my journey of healing and wanting to become a better version of myself. I feel so much better, my decision making has changed for the better. I am grateful I started this journey and will continue till I get over most of my fears ❤️

What I can tell is that Dr Phipps with his team - both practitioners and admin staff understand their assignment very well. They are professional, organised and keep to appointments. They are very compassionate and committed to their patients. The offices are clean and very appealing, as a result the ambiance is perfect for a wellness centre.

My husband and I had a few sessions with the senior psychologist and I must say I felt a hostile energy towards me. I did not feel like it was a safe space for me to openly express myself or ask clarifying questions. In fact I felt my questions annoyed her. I found it strange how her demeanour was different almost kinder towards my husband and mean almost judgemental towards me. I’m sure she’s great in her job, but my experience wasn’t pleasant.

I came into this centre on a mission to deal with my sleep paralysis that I have been battling with from as early as my primary school years (i am 40+ just by the way). I wish I had time to explain how severe my issue was but the short of it is i can count nights where i slept without having the paralysis. With the help of Dr Phillips I can confidently say I have managed to get to a place in my life where I can sleep peacefully without any fear. I can now count nights when I have the paralysis and when I wake, I am able to pinpoint the cause. Thank you so so much Dr Phillips, you have no idea what you have done for me.

Truly wonderful service, great staff, very welcoming. The environment is calming, and my therapist is fantastic. I am grateful to have found them.

Therapy Works is a really amazing well established institution. All the staff are really kind, gentle and professional; and it’s a really calming space to be in.

This place is so calm, it makes me feel so good, I feel safe, The Receptionist is so friendly, helpful and very loving, they follow Covid19 regulations so well, it's cleans and well sanitized. When I joined Therapy works I was a mess ready to commit suicide and now I can tell you I am the happiest child, I look forward to going there all the time, they appreciate my time and they listen attentively. The money is worth the service and the person I am now.

The environment is quite calming and the staff is very friendly to work with. Everything works so efficiently. Therapy is not an easy process but I always feel motivated for my next session every time I leave the premises.

I have been with Therapy Works Wellness for over two years now and I have experienced exquisite service, a positive and professional experience with them. From the administration process - clear communication, WhatsApp support, the options to attend sessions virtually and/or physically at your convenience.They also offer flexibility with full/half sessions to suite your financial planning. The administrators are warm and friendly. The facility itself is welcoming and so *zen*😃. Monique my therapist has played a crucial role in my healing, development and wellness journey. I am not sure how I would have survived the last two years without the support she has given me. We don't often found safe spaces just to be ourselves and feel free to express, for me therapy is that space and it has impacted me positively.... Truly the Centre deserves a 5 star rating. I attended training on hypnosis and interactional pattern analysis, and what a profound and meaningful experience. The whole team at the centre, from the receptionist to the therapists is just amazing!
