I really enjoyed my dinner here and thought the food was nice. It can be a bit slower than normal to order food and have it delivered during busy times but there's no need to panic people, just make sure that when you order you order a bunch of stuff and then grab the wait person again before you finish what's on your table. I would infinitely prefer this style of all you can eat than the traditional germ fest style! So happy to have an Okami in Sutherland yay P.S - LOVE the ice cream!!!!

After a last minute to decide to eat out we were lucky this place was able to squeeze us into a very busy night. Even though it was packed the food was extremely fast to come out once ordering. Delicious and it really is all you can eat. Staff are friendly will happily return many times.

All you can eat Japanese cuisine. New place in Sutherland. 40 per person for all you can eat, you pay less for children. Sushi and sashimi were great. Angus beef and fried rice were so yummy!! The service was good. They are byo, but you can try mocktails and Japanese wines here. Really nice place.

Wonderful! The service here was great. There is a little wait at times but I would recommend to make an order when you first sit down and then peruse the menu at your leisure and order as you go. The food here is delicious and the menu is extensive. The home made green tea and black sesame ice cream are delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Last night was our 2nd visit to Okami at Sutherland, and all I can say is .. we will be back! Staff friendly & always willing to help, food is fresh, very tasty, & filling, &, restaurant is clean & has a relaxed atmosphere. The 'All You Can Eat' menu offers a variety of dishes that we've enjoyed trying, with favourites now chosen. It's definitely ideal to book a table as I've seen some being turned away as they were booked out. I would recommend people give it a go at least once .. twice .. maybe more!

My new favourite restaurant! All you can eat for $39, cant beat it. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fast. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Loved it. The food was fresh and cooked as we ordered. The food was served fast and was delicious. It has both hot and cold food and ice creams. The only thing is you can't order sashimi by itself but with sushi plate and the potion of sashimi is relatively small. After all, it is the best Japanese buffet in Sydney we have tried. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our "all you can eat" Japanese experience. The food was excellent. Many dishes to choose from. I was really impressed by the quality and choice. The sushi and sashimi platter was fresh and generous as were the other dishes we ordered. The service was quick and the staff friendly. We were there during the week. Will definitely return.

Came for the all-you-can eat special, and at $36 per head, we thought this was steal. Not only did the food come out quickly, it was hot (unlike some of the other Japanese establishments I have been to) and delicious! Note the food did come out slowly sometimes, but with it being hectically busy, it’s understandable; just have to give the staff a friendly reminder, and next thing you know, it’s already on the table. The only downside I would say is that the restaurant seemed to lack variety when it came to food, and that you couldn’t order a plate of sashimi just by itself (which is understandable considering the price). However, despite this, the overall experience was definitely good and worth it.

The Good: - Food was tasty without flavours being overwhelming - Waiting staff were pleasant and polite The Average: - Portions were small - Took a while between serves arriving - $39 a head for all you can eat is good when you can help yourself but when you are reliant upon others who aren't particularly fast then not so good. - Noisy. I know my list of the negatives seems overwhelming compared to the positives, but all said and done, it was a good experience.

10/10 the best japanese all you can eat you can possibly get in Australia while being affordable! Highly recommend. even their drink was amazing. 100% would come back again!

Good day everyone! I just wanted to share my experience at Okami Japanese restaurant in Sutherland. I must say, it's a fantastic place to satisfy your Japanese food cravings. The all-you-can-eat option for $40 per person is a real steal considering the variety and quality of dishes they offer. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavour. The tempura was also delightful with a perfect crispy texture. The service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere was spot-on. The only minor drawback was that some of the cooked dishes could have been seasoned a bit more. Nonetheless, Okami is definitely a great choice for a delicious Japanese feast. Cheers, mate!

Overall I enjoyed Okami. For $40 an adult for all you eat, it was pretty good. I've definately eaten better Japanese before but for what we paid and how much we ate, it was money well spent. You get a 2 hour sitting and they take your last order at 1.5 hours. The toilets weren't working the night we were there which was beyond the restaurants control but annoying as there were no other bathrooms around that we could use.

Got the all you can eat buffet for $39. Food came out quickly and was reasonably fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and good service. Think I found a hidden gem in The Shire! Will be coming back.

The food was delicious and super fast. I was worried the dishes would take a while to come out but there was a steady stream of fresh and delicious meals. The teriyaki steak was easily our favourite, but there wasn't a single bad dish on the menu.
