Wel maintained beautifully and ergonomically designed and utilised. This is a good example of how proud Australia is when it comes to their rich history and heritage. The old machinery and tools used are still preserved with utmost care. What is more interesting is that they have converted this to a business place which includes super market and cafeteria and hence now a happenning area especially in the evening.

This is an old train maintenance workshop. Beautifully restored with offices, a supermarket (the nicest IGA you'll find anywhere) and a hamburger bar ($$$)

Had lunch on Father's Day at Brewdog. Great experience to be eating tasty food and drink in such an atmospheric place. Terrific for adults and children alike, who like historic machinery. Although part is still a workshop the area was clean and tidy. Staff pleasant and helpful, well worth a visit. Good parking too.

Old blacksmith workshop with 130+ years of history. Lots of work going on. If you travelling to see this, there is a public car park at 2 Central Avenue, Eveleigh and follow the exit to shops.

A little over developed for business has taken away some if it historical character. A mix of suburban shops and businesses. It's nice to walk and look but not enough places to pique your interest. Food shops are overrun during lunch but good for the evening meal.

It's been more than 30 years since I've been to Everleigh. Wow, what a change. The Brewdog is an awesome place to eat and drink on a Friday night. The atmosphere, whilst being a bit noisy, is great with all the old machinery and equipment still in place from days gone by. I tried a selection of beers in the tasting paddle, all of whuch were ok, but the price is a bit steep at around $6 for 200ml of beer. Menu is limited, but what they serve is pretty goid. Will definitely come back and try a full sized beer.

A bit of a museum of the engineering past of this place, with an incorporated brewery serving crafted beers and great food. What more could any guy want? And just a short stagger to Redfern station for those who imbibe a little too heartily!
