The staff were nice and friendly in general but one of them was a bit pushy to make me write a review. Anyway, My stay was good with the price I paid. But the heating and cooling system is not really adjustable, so we got really hot at some point in time and spend extensive amount of time trying to adjust the temperature which decrease our sleeping time and quality. Otherwise it’s not a bad stay, the room is clean and quiet enough most of the staff tried their best. All the best.

I like the staff, they were all super friendly and helpful. As soon as I arrived, it felt like home. They have a breakfast bar as well, haven't tried the coffee, but the pastry was very nice. The hotel is very cosy and relatively comfortable. They even have hair dryer in the bathroom, very thoughtful, bathroom is big and spacious. Location is great as well, only a few minutes walking to darling Harbour and the Chinese garden. Event cinema and the world square are just around the corner. Close to museum and town hall train stations. I am quite happy with my stay here and I recommend this hotel.

I was very impressed to have my room upgraded. The room was clean and well-appointed. There is plenty of space. It is the perfect location for all types of food and bars. A short walk to the trams and trains. Pear, a staff, was very attentive and friendly. Her willingness to assist with any request truly stood out. I'll definitely be staying there again.

Great location for our first stay in Sydney. The location is really good so we could reach everything in a walking distance. The rooms are not that big but very comfortable and have everything you need. The staff Sway and Pear were so welcoming and helpful. We had a great time, thank you.

I had a great time staying at Hotel YEHS CBD. In a wonderful central location, very near Town Hall station. The rooms are of a good size for a solo traveller, and the bathroom amenities very good. All the staff were very welcoming, exceptionally helpful, and incredibly friendly whenever I came or left during my stay. Pear was always ready with a smile. I would definitely stay here again.

I received a room upgrade and breakfast vouchers which did save me some $$ on food and coffee!! The room was small but to be honest it was enough for one person as it had all the necessary items I needed, and the bed was very comfy. Pear and Tim were very welcoming and even allowed me to keep my luggage at the hotel after check out so I won’t have to carry it with me all day, which saved me! I would definitely consider coming back in the future when I’ll be visiting Sydney again! Thank you :)

The experience in YEHS Hotel Sydney CBD was amazing. The location is perfect to go everywhere and the good food is so easy to access. Eventhough the room is a bit small but the price is reasonable as well. I hope I’ll get free upgrades next time I visit 😬 thanks to the staff called Leon and the Thai stuff named Pear. They are super nice 😊

This hotel offers a cozy stay that is near the city and Chinatown which offers a plethora of choices for food and shopping. The staff was superb. Both Tim and Pear were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back here for my Sydney stay.

The hotel located in the middle of Haymarket which is close to everything such as Supermarket, Cafe and restaurant. Even the room a bit small but very clean. We have some issues about the air conditioner but staff fixed it out for us very quickly. One of the reception, her name is Pear is also nice and very friendly. She’s also offered us about late check out. I will come back again.

It was my first time in Sydney, and this hotel provided an unforgettable experience. It's very close to my travel point plan, and Ms Pear, the staff there, is very lovely. She answered all of my questions about each point and took care of all of my requirements, such as the hair dryer. I will definitely return to this hotel in the months to come.

The staff, especially Tim during check-in and Jimmy providing helpful directions to the airport, assisting with luggage storage, and offering enthusiastic travel advice, were incredibly friendly and patient. The hotel's central location in the city center, surrounded by attractions and delicious food, added to the overall satisfaction. Highly recommend to friends visiting Sydney. The hotel is good. Room are clean. It has good location. It is near by landmarks. Walking distance to the opera house. The staffs are very nice. Jimmy and Tim are very approachable and kind. Their customer service is very good.

Upon our arrival late at night, we were greeted by JIMMY, who was extremely helpful and cheerful. He gave us a lot of information as well. The bathroom door was jammed and he personally came up to check it and ordered for repair right away. A very efficient and kind hearted individual. 5 stars to Jimmy!

My first ever visit to this hotel from Nov 15 to 17, 2023 was very pleasant and enjoyable. I only have positive comments such as its excellent location, good size room for 3 people and all the staff have been helpful, cheerful and especially Jimmy who was extremely helpful and took care of the stuck bathroom door quickly . Looking forward to my second visit after the cruise already!

When we checked into the hotel in the evening of November 15, we were warmly greeted by Jimmy at the reception. He offered us a good orientation, making sure that we had everything we needed. The next day Jimmy came up to check on the bathroom door promising to have it fixed and he did.

Friendly check-in staff (probably the friendliest I've ever interacted with TBH). Room was clean, bathroom was clean (no mould), bed was very comfortable. The rooms match the price - they are tiny - don't expect a huge suite and you'll be fine. Only issue is that the place needs a bit of a makeover, it it somewhat run down and the wallpaper was lifting in parts. But all in all, for the price and location you can't complain too much.

I was curious to see what this hotel is like given it is very cheap. I can report that the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had excellent pressure. The staff were very friendly. Location is also excellent, a short walk to darling harbour. Externally the building is pretty old, but the room itself, was well presented (albeit dated) - pretty small but functional enough. Overall I would recommend as a great budget option for CBD accommodation.

I stayed there for 2 nights and it was my memorable stay!! The hotel has a good location. It surrounds with many restaurants and only few minutes walk to public transportation. Staff member names PEAR was so lovely. She was friendly. She offered the best service to me. I will surely be back to stay there again!

I spent 39 days in this hotel for temporary accommodation. Clean environment and very warm and helpful staffs! I would like to express my special gratitude to Anson, who is always sensitive to clients’ needs and reacts immediately. I spent few nights reading in the lobby to prepare for my job interview and Anson accompanied me after hours because he worried about my safety. Friendly staff who were more then helpful in accepting my vouchers prior to check in. Rooms are clean albeit small. Easy to get into the building after a night out. No free access to YouTube etc which is a shame considering the cost of the room. That would certainly make it better value. Manager Alejandro was lovely providing an upgrade. And Tim and Pear were very helpful on the day.

The location was great for us - right downtown within walking distance to ... Alejandro the desk manager was terrific - very helpful. And the room was clean and quiet. The room was completely too small for us though, maybe they have bigger rooms? But there was no place to put a suitcase and it was difficult even turning around in the space. For the price, something a little larger?

Fabulous location and brilliant service. Not a luxury hotel but excellent for anyone who is happy with the basics. Pear on reception went out of her way to make sure my 21 day stay was a home away from home. All staff were polite and helpful, the simple breakfast included if you pay cash was fine, and the roomed were serviced daily.

Great location. Close to ICC, trains, trams, so easy to get around. When I stayed there last time, unfortunately I tested positive for COVID, they were able to shuffle around their bookings and enabled me to stay there for isolation. The room rate is reasonable, but quite small as a single bed room. Not the best for isolation, but beats a hostel hands down.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities provided were top-notch, and everything I needed was readily available. The hotel's attention to detail in ensuring guest comfort truly impressed me.

Affordable hotel within the CBD area. Very near Chinatown and Darling Harbour, easy to get around. It's a 3-star hotel so don't expect luxury but it's good enough to rest for the night. I love that single-use bedroom slippers are provided, a very Asian gesture. The only gripe that I have is that the bedding is a little too old and the springs could be felt. That aside, the staff were friendly and hospitable - special mention goes to Pear.

We are very happy with our stay. The location of the hotel is very central among all amenities, food, train and shops are just around the corner. Pear at the reception was very helpful, she let us checked in earlier and stored our luggage on our check out to suit our schedule. The place is great in terms of value, not luxury but you get what you paid for. The little cafe by the entrance is a hidden gem if you appreciate high quality specialty coffee. I would say what you get is more than what you paid. In saying all above, the room is a tad small where I stayed which was a twin shared room. If you plan to spend a lot time in the room, maybe consider to upgrade to a bigger room. I highly recommend the place to others and would very much like to stay there again if holidaying in Sydney.

A descent place for those looking for CBD on a budget. You definitely get what you pay for. Room was very small and the "queen" bed was more of a double. The room was clean enough in the major ways, but if you looked closely there were issues. Staff were friendly and has a great location. If you know what your booking then you won't be disappointed. Your not getting a deal on a high end hotel, it's a lower on the quality end. If you're used to luxury hotels this place isn't for you, but if you just need a bed in a decent place for a decent price then check it out.

Alejandro is very welcoming as is his staff. Location is very good - close to all city things. The hotel is clean, the room was very small, but we were happy and didn't expect more. Next time we will talk to Alejandro about the apartment and see what price he can do for us. We booked on groupon and the deal was very good, but I noticed that for an extra dollar we could have booked a larger space. which we will look to do on our next trip to Sydney. We had a very nice stay at the hotel, it was very clean and accessible to everything. The hotel manager and Tim are very accommodating and are very nice to us through out our whole stay. Excellent location for a great price! This was a great little hotel to stay at, simple rooms but clean and quiet. On the corner of George & Liverpool this is a very reasonably priced hotel for such a great location. Would definitely stay here again. The coffee shop in the lobby also looks like a good one for the coffee lovers (which I am not unfortunately).

Great little hotel and on the cheaper side. Clean and comfortable. Check-in was a bit slow but the front desk attendants were professional and courteous. Well worth staying if you just need somewhere to lay your head for a night or two

The staff was all nice and warm welcoming! I was so glad. Also this hotel is located in convenient area so easy to go out!! But I had a few problems with my room, which was that the shower hose was originally broken so water came out from the broken spot. And using hairdryer was limited at night time (because they wanna save electricity??) so it was hard to dry my hair. (Only could use 30 seconds then needed to wait about 1 min to use again.) Except these points I had a good time!!

The hotel is very well located, full of shops and restaurants nearby. Customer service was great. Easy and fast check-in and check-out. Alejandro was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small, but quiet considering the hotel is located in a very busy area. We couldn't listen to any noise from the streets. I would stay there again.

Nice and handy to the touristy spots, dinner across the road if you're on a budget, really only a 3 to 4 star kebab though but still good enough. The room we had was quite small but we did have a huge amount of luggage, with less luggage it would have been quite suitable for the kind of place you need in Sydney as tourists are generally out enjoying the city. $278 kiwi dollars for one night was quite pricey I thought but I am a tightarse. Staff were fantastic, so helpful, held our luggage after book out time until we left for the airport and organized a cab for us. The lady working Xmas day was very pleasant do deal with after 12 hours waiting for a late flight from Qantas and a 8 hour flight. Highly recommended for a stay.
