I’m obsessed with this place! Definitely my favorite place in Sydney so far. Great place to get a tasty and healthful meal for only 10 dollars. My favorites are the veggie pho and the vermicelli with spring rolls. Don’t forget to try the pandan soy milk it is delicious. The lady working here is the nicest. Each time I come here she has given me some type of freebie including soup, a meal to go.

I can see why this can become a favourite store. The Best prices in Australia, max main price $10 like srsly Wow! And it's vegetarian, and all the ingredients are so Fresh, healthy and delicious. You could eat this everyday for lunch or dinner and feel great, no need to cook at home now!! The lady is just so lovely and kind. I just arrived to Sydney to visit my mum so she gave me a free side of greens AND complimentary spring rolls like whaaaaaaat to take home to give to my mum. I wanted to try as much as I could and it only came to $20. I wanted to pay more but she wouldn't let me! I will definitely be back to try the pho. Corn fritters 5/5 🌽 - really delicious a bit too oily for me though so share with a friend Coconut water 3/5 - too much ice I couldn't get the coconut meat 🥥 😅 Rice veg and lemongrass tofu 10/10 🥦 - wow the lemongrass tofu was the best I have ever had, legit. Such a simple dish but so tasty. I felt like the stir fry veg was a bit plain though but if you eat it with the tofu or chilli it's good. Cabbage salad 5/5 - so light and healthy but delicious, ate it all at once and damn with the corn fritters a great tofu. Salad greens 4/5 - I was expecting stir fry leafy green vegetables like gai Lan as it said greens so might be better to change the name to lettuce salad or something 😅 Spring rolls 5/5 - man I didn't even pay for these, and they were great! You have to come to this store, you will just feel replenished and refreshed as a human. Not many restaurants are so friendly and personable and give you beautiful smiles. This place is so peaceful and has a simple and relaxing vibe in the middle of Surry Hills.

All dishes are $10 so I probably can’t complain but I’m gonna complain anyway. It’s very unclear to me how this place has an almost 5 star rating. The best way I can describe the food is “simple”. Again, it’s only $10, but with a multitude of vegetarian restaurants to try in Sydney, many of which are serving creative and unique dishes, this place really doesn’t measure up. The staff was very kind, but they weren’t looking over the floor. My dirty dish sat in front of me for 30 minutes until I left and I was 1 of 2 in the restaurant. Strangely, they give you plastic cutlery and paper cups for dine in. Not environmentally friendly and just weird to eat with while sitting in a restaurant. I guess the food was fine. It just wasn’t anything special. At least it was only $10.

Truly a hidden gem in Surry Hills. Delicious pho for only $10 (price is unheard of in the area). The Pho itself was delicious, with a well seasoned yet fresh broth. The lady who served the food was also super welcoming and even gave me a free snack after my main meal. Will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

If it were me say to anything, this place deserves a Michelin Star. The food is tasty and calming, makes you feel at home and loved. The elder lady is extremely kind. Much appreciate and a true thank you!

SO CHEAP (main meals max 10$), favours taste great, large portions, fresh quality ingredients. The grandma (owner?) gave us each (3pp) containers of freshly chopped salad with dressing for free / complimentary. Great atmosphere and place to catch up for vegans/vegetarians. We ordered Laska pho , spring roll vermicelli and tofu lemon grass rice, iced coffee and tea. Would go again. Went for second time Dec 2022. Same great experience, sat with my friend for 2 hrs. And received even more free meals !! 2 fat rice paper rolls, 2x containers of rice vermili noodle salad with tofu 😋 added in photos

Simple, fresh and delicious vegan food for a very adorable price! The owner is super adorable and I was surprised that they don't accept tips. She gave us some salad with sauce to take home as a present! It made our day! I would definitely recommend this place!

It's simple, beautiful and wholesome veggie goodness. A must visit if you're nearby. Also incredible value for money, 2 of us spent $25 for an appetizer, 2 mains and an ice green tea drink.

I walked in a stranger and walked out a friend. The lady who runs the place just oozes kindness. I insisted on paying more and she insisted on giving me more, luckily I carry a lunchbox with me to restaurants in case I can't finish... I ended up with lunch and dinner for $20. It was tasty, healthy and very good serves. The spring rolls were the best I have had. The laksa pho was lighter on the coconut than usual so I felt really light and clean after eating it Apparently the name of the restaurant means happiness, and that is truly what they serve. A very special place.

Hands down the best vegetarian restaurant we’ve ever been to in Sydney, food-wise and customer service-wise! Food is delicious with generous portion, and the lovely owners treat us like family. Not to mention the affordable price tag for such great food right in the heart of Sydney. We had ginger broth phở and noodles with veggie spring rolls for $10 each, plus homemade iced green tea with lemon for just 2$ each. The owners even brought us some free soup before the meal and gave us more free food to take home. What a lovely experience - will definitely come back as a regular 😉

Feels like homemade food! Simple and delicious. I am vegetarian and I am currently on a low-foodmap diet. I was surprised to know that the meals do not have dairy, onions or garlic. Thus, I ordered the tofu with rice! I was glad to find a nice affordable meal according to my current dietary restrictions.

Really delicious food with fresh ingredients. Genuinely felt like a home-cooked meal, not unlike one I had on my last visit to Hanoi. Really friendly cook, despite being the only person running things at the time we came. She even gave us free curry rice when we left, which was just absolutely touching.

Absolutely love this place, everything is vegetarian and the pho is so delicious! So many options for the broth as well. The homemade green tea lemonade was delightful too. This is the best value restaurant in probably all of Australia and to top it off, the owner and staff were absolute sweethearts. My new favourite restaurant!

Very Vegan Restaurants. Food offered have lots of vegetables. Shop carefully keep the nuts aside for people’s own choice. Light taste that expose the natural taste of the vegetable. The restaurants may offer Allium Free Vegan on request. Suitable for all people, whether you are vegan or non-vegan. Amount of one single dish offered are enough for the meal. Recommend. Suggest to put more details in menu for people to know exactly what will be in the dish.

Budget-friendly, delicious and vegan - what more could you want? If you're in Sydney and in need of a cheap but satisfying meal, head straight for this place where you'll get generous portions of comforting and tasty vegan Vietnamese food. I visited a couple of times and enjoyed everything but my favourite was the bún – a noodle salad topped with lemongrass tofu as well as plenty of coriander, peanuts and beansprouts. The spring rolls were also really delicious. The place has a great atmosphere as well, and the people who run it are lovely and very kind. Well worth a visit!

Excellent lemongrass vegan pho ($10) and spring rolls ($5 for 6 pieces). Everything came out fresh and crispy. Vegetables were also still firm and crispy. The auntie is a one-man army, so be patient. She’s also so lovely and fast!

The soup was yummy and full of veggies. The spring rolls were crispy. The food portion was large enough to make you full. The female owner there was so kind and friendly. We enjoyed dinning there.

Wife and I went here for lunch today because we were looking for somewhere vego-friendly. Both of us were blown away - the food was amazing, some of the best I've ever had in Sydney. Nothing fancy or pretentious - just delicious, authentic, light healthy vegetarian Vietnamese. Prices were crazy cheap, portions were huge. The proprietor was super friendly and sweet, and the restaurant itself was pleasantly bright and colorful inside, with lots of houseplants and nice big windows with a view of the street outside. I'm going to make sure to go back here at least once every time we're back in Sydney!

Absolute gem of a place. The chef runs the whole show. She is caring, attentive to details, well organised and she prepares fresh, healthy, beautiful and tasty food. Definitely a must go-to once a week if you work in the neighbourhood. I cannot recommend highly enough. Give her a visit!

We LOVe the food and the owner and staff members beautiful smiling faces are memorable. The most reasonably costing vegan lunch in Sydney at $10 per plate. It would be 5 stars except that they use the bad type of plastic packaging for take away Ther we are so many compostable alternative available...We would be happy to pay more for the privilege of deepening respect for the mother earth. Please if you come here then dine in not takeaway to reduce your daily footprint of plastic. Thanks for the owners and staffs good service. Love

The reason I don't join the 5 star brigade is because I think it's better for everyone if people gave honest reviews. This is barely a 3 and I got duped by the crowd ... again. I always have very low expectations for Asian places in terms of decor, atmosphere and attitude. It's part of the charm, not like a fake hipster exposed pipe & brick place, it's more genuine than that and it gives it character. A price to pay for good food. This place is a creepy place to eat. The staff were making spring rolls on the dining tables, it was hard to tell if it was just takeaway or not. It was also doubly confusing when they gave you plastic cutlery to eat in-house. It was the only place that I welcomed the terrible music cause it stopped once and it was eerily quiet. We had two "pho's", I think they thought that it stood for soup noodle. Cause they had a Laksa pho and what was a ton yum pho. They were ok. The Laksa tasted like they opened a can of coconut milk and poured it in. The other one was ok. The only saving grace is the $10 price.

My mum and I can't stop telling people about this place!! Yes the food is simple, but everything was fresh and delicately flavoured and truly delicious. We both left pleasantly full paying just $29 for a shared entree (spring rolls), 2 meals (lemongrass tofu vermicelli salad and golden curry) and 2 drinks (lemon iced tea). We also received a complimentary soup each before our meal, and were also given another 2 complimentary containers of soup to take away afterwards by the lovely lady who we presume is the owner. So glad we chose to eat lunch here and will definitely be going back! (We also received metal cutlery, so perhaps the plastic was covid-related?)

Food is good and staff are very friendly. Feels like it’s run by a family and that your dining experience is important to them. I’d recommend this place highly.

The women who work here are so lovely and kind. Their hospitality made me teared up. The food was well seasoned and easy on the stomach, I was in the middle of recovering and was quite sensitive to spices but their food helped me gained back strength. Simple food for $10 but it includes rice (carb), protein (tofu) and vegetable stir-fry (fiber and micro-nutrients). All are well-seasoned and neatly presented on the plate. It shows that the cooks care about the diners. I came there not expecting much but their kindness made me at awe. The staff were celebrating Tet/Lunar New Year and they gave me extra soup and rice dishes to bring home as Lộc/New Year's good luck and didn't want me to pay for the extra (So so kind I was tearing up). Best wishes to everyone. Happy New Lunar Year.
