Gorgeous spot for BBQs and parties near the Homestead cafe. Shadowed by eucalyptus and Moreton Bay fig trees, it is yet another piece of paradise in Sydney. Plenty of parking spots and all sorts of comforts except a coffee after 4 pm. Bring the kids and enjoy everything parklife here.

Great place to be for weddings and events, if you have kids, it is a great place to spend your afternoon

Beautiful venue, make sure you always check the weather prior the day.

It's nice. A two minute walk to the bathrooms and there isn't a lot of seating but there are many large trees and you can sit and enjoy nature.

Beautiful spot for picnics and BBQs. The trees around make the area shady, which is perfect on warm, sunny days.

Perfect spot to spend the afternoon. Washroom, water fountain, and bins nearby. There is a free BBQ stove with two hot plates, no reservations needed. FYI, this is not part of the bookable picnic area (someone who booked the picnic area told us and another family to leave, but, the park ranger confirmed we can stay).
